Tag Team Match

The Arena by Lindsey Stirling starts up as the lights turn a bright white and begin to shimmer to the docile tones of The Arena. Tamara walks onto the stage. Looking out, she Makes a bow and arrow gesture with her hands before pretending to fire an arrow in the direction of the ring, smiling broadly as she does. Allowing everything to sink in, she begins to make her way toward the ring, stopping every so often to make graceful motions with her hands and arms, before beginning to take off her vest. Twirling around as she does before handing it to somebody at ringside. Making her way to the ring, she slides in under the bottom rope, doing a handstand before flipping herself down and making some more graceful arm movements like a conductor as The Arena ends.

Everwinter by Frozen Crown hits now as Kelsey walks out onto the ramp, smiling at the crowd as she extends her arms out. Spinning around, she begins to make her way down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans until she gets about halway down the ramp, where she does a 'cut' symbol with her hands 3 times, jumping as she does so. She then continues walking down the ramp and interacting with the fans. She then rolls into the ring, posing for the fans as she takes off her jacket and hands it to an attendant at ringside before she climbs the turnbuckle and pounds her heart 3 times, then raises her right hand upward, pointing to the ceiling then at the fans as she jumps down, readying herself for the match alongside her partner.

Def Rebel’s Boss It starts playing now as the fans begin to boo. Apparently they have decided Denise DiMarco will be a heel in this one. She makes her way out and blows kisses to the fans while making her way to the ring. She climbs onto the ring apron and enters before glancing over at her two opponents and rolling her eyes. She goes to the corner and waves to the booing fans before leaning on the ropes awaiting her own partner for the match.

White Buffalo by Crown Lands starts up and once the drums kick in three quick bursts of fireworks hit and Miley Virus steps out to the stage. The fans mostly serenade her with boos other than a few smarks cheering her on. Miley struts down to the ring to the beat of the song while flipping her blond hair from her face, ignoring the crowd. She rolls into the ring and hops to her feet, raising her arms high as the crowd keeps booing. She exits to the outside apron as the match begins.

DiMarco starts off with Frost. Winther calls something out from the apron to Virus but she blatantly ignores her. Miley turns and pays more attention to fans, making faces at them. DiMarco ties up with Frost and Denise locks her into a headlock. Frost counters out of it and spins DiMarco around and then plants her with a quick belly to belly suplex. DiMarco gets back up and tries to charge at Frost but she gets tossed into the wrong corner instead. Frost runs over and hits a clothesline before tagging Winthers in. Frost hoists DiMarco up for a spine buster and Winther springboards from the apron and over the ropes nailing a flying clothesline. Winther covers as Frost goes to the apron.

Broken up by Virus!

Winther gets up and argues with the referee while DiMarco crawls over to the corner for a tag. Virus is once again taunting the crowd so DiMarco lunges and slaps the back of her head to tag out. Virus argues with her before Winther grabs her and hauls her over the ropes and into the ring. Virus scrambles to her feet but Winther leaps up and over her before rolling her up with an awkward sunset flip.

Kick out by Virus!

They both get up and Winther gets the upper hand with a lock up. She drags Virus towards the corner but Miley suddenly takes the eyes and Winther stumbles away momentarily blinded. Winther manages to tag Frost back in while Virus angrily marches to her own corner to tag out but DiMarco yells that she isn’t ready. Virus mocks like that is fine before grabbing DiMarco by the head and smashing her into the ring post. She then slaps her across the face for the tag and pulls her into the ring before exiting herself.

Virus flips off the stunned and confused DiMarco before turning and arguing with some of the fans in the front row. She starts walking away from the ring and flipping everyone off now while DiMarco gets up and yells at her to come back. DiMarco finally turns around only to eat a spinning heel kick from Frost. Kelsey pulls her right back up and then pulls DiMarco into position. Frost then nails the Bridled Rage! She hooks both legs while Virus walks away laughing hysterically.

Singles Competition

The opening words to "Reincarnate" are screamed through the PA system, as the lights begin to slowly dim and the word "Huntress" appears on the Jumbotron in crimson red with a backdrop of a shimmering nighttime sky behind it.

"You pull the trigger just for fun

Forgetting I'm a loaded gun

So hate me for the things I've done, and not for what I've now become"

Zoe then walks out onto the stage, eyes narrow and with a stoic expression across her face as "Huntress" fades into the night, replaced by the words "Zoe Tomlinson", also in crimson text while she begins to saunter down to the ramp, hips swaying from side to side with each step, cracking her left knuckle as she does. Her eyes beginning to dart across the crowd, she then kneels down about half-way between the stage and the ring, extending her right arm out and making a gun symbol with her fingers before pretending to pull back the trigger before pushing herself back to a standing position and resuming her saunter. Some of the fans in attendance snap photographs of her on their phones as others boo.

Reaching the end of the ramp, she turns to the left, wandering around the side of the ring before jumping onto the apron and leaning back against the ropes, tilting her head upward. Swinging her body forward, she slowly enters the ring between the middle and top ropes before walking over to the turnbuckle in the north-east corner of the ring and scaling it. Once she does, she extends her hands into a crucifix position before jumping down and turning her body, leaning back in the corner as her music fades and the luminance returns to normal.

Zoe and Jamie lock up, both wanting to see which one of them is stronger than the other. Or at least, which one of the two has enough about them to obtain the early advantage in this match up. Initially it looks like Zoe might win the test of strength, as she manages to push against Jamie's hands with her own, but Riott is able to hook her arm around Zoe's head and bring her down into a side headlock, before wrenching it it.

Leana: Jamie showing her strength here in the early going.

Nyssa: Calm down, it's only a side headlock. Nothing too special.

Leana: Hey, it's just the foundation she is setting, okay?

As the two were bickering, Zoe was able to push Jamie off her and toward the ropes, only for the young Irish woman to halt her momentum. Pivoting so that she is facing Zoe, Jamie connects with a running clothesline to knock her foe down, then a second the moment Zoe rises back up, ensuring that the young woman remains on the canvas. A series of stomps to the chest and face ensuring that remains the case, before she manages to leap into the air and connect with a knee drop to the skull. Pain beginning to etch itself upon Zoe's face as she is hoisted up by Jamie and whipped into the nearby ropes whilst Jamie bends over. Intending to connect with a back body drop when she returns --- only to instead be met with a boot to the chest and discus clothesline combination. One that leaves both woman on the mat.

Leana: Zoe buying herself a reprieve there, but I think she realises that now she has to capitalise on it. Make the most of this opportunity.

Nyssa: She will. She just wanted Jamie to think that she was in a safe position before she struck.

Leana: We will see, because it looks like Jamie is the first one to her feet.

Indeed, Jamie is able to rise to a vertical base first, however, Zoe simply hooks her legs and sends her plummeting onto the canvas face first thanks to a drop toe hold. Smiling, she manages to make her own way to her feet before stalking Jamie. Waiting for her to push herself upward so that she can hit a swinging DDT --- though Jamie managing to glance upward and directly at Zoe in anticipation as she rushes towards her, countering the DDT attempt into a backbreaker.

Leana: You were saying, Nyssa?

Nyssa: …

Jamie then drops down for the pin attempt

Zoe kicks out, causing a soft smirk to cross Jamie's face. Delighted to a point that this match will be continuing. Lifting Zoe up, she positions her for a fallaway slam, even as her foe flails her legs in the hopes of freeing herself from the grip to no avail. It is not a fallaway slam that Jamie is looking for though. Instead, she swings Zoe forward before dropping her onto her knee with a pendulum backbreaker, followed by a STO to crash her skull against the canvas. Posing for the audience, she attempts to lift her opponent up for a powerbomb, only to instead by taken down with a hurricanrana, followed by a spinning heel kick when she manages to rise back to her feet, the impact of which causes her to stumble a little before falling. Running the ropes, Zoe attempts an elbow drop afterward, only for Jamie to roll out of the way and cause a soft scream to leave her opponents mouth. Jamie would then successfully deliver an elbow drop to the back of Zoe's head. followed by lifting her up and nailing a gutwrench powerbomb.

Leana: Jamie signaling for the end here

Jamie then motions for and connects with the Novia Scotia nonsense, holding on for the pin.

WINNER: JAMIE RIOT!

#1 Contendership for Evo Title

The opening to "Messenger in Flames" begins to play throughout the PA system as the lights begin to dim and the strobe lights flash in rhythm with the music before Lauren Edwards appears on the stage. Standing there, she throws a few jabs before beginning to strut down to the ring, extending her arms out and slightly upward. About a quarter of the way down the ramp, she stops and slightly pushes back the hood, revealing a focused, steely stare as she continues to walk, her arms dropping by her side. Taking off her jacket when she reaches the top of the ramp, she hands it to a ringside attendant before walking up the steps and standing on the apron, leaning back, she flips over the top rope and enters the ring, extending her hands upon landing as her music begins to fade.

Leana - Lauren Edward's looks ready to show why she deserves a shot at the Evo Title.

Nyssa - winning that Evo title is going to get an uphill battle. Steph has been a dominant champion.

Leana - She really has been. Since she won that title she has been on an absolute tear here in First Class. Edward's and Wilcox will both be looking to finally be the ones to end Stephs run.

How do you sleep by John Lennon hits the PA system and Edda Wilcox walks to the ring.

Leana - Here we go.

The ref calls for the bell as Wilcox fires across the ring drop kicking Edward's into the corner. Edward hits the turnbuckles incredibly hard. Edda runs back to the opposite side of the ring then runs and hits another huge drop kick on Edward's. Edda grabs the hair of Edward's pulling her out of the corner. Wilcox takes a step back then hits a huge forearm upper cut catching Edward's right in the jaw sending her back into the corner.

Nyssa - Damn Edda Wilcox really wants a shot at the Evo title.

Leana - It's been all Wlcox all the time so far here. Lauren Edwards really needs to find a way to turn the tides or this one will be over in the blink of an eye.

Nyssa - It's almost as if Lauren Edwards didn't even show up here tonight.

Wilcox climbs to the second rope standing above Lauren in the corner. Wilcox holds her fist up then begins reigning down punches onto the skull of Lauren Edwards.

1...2...3...4...5

The fans are all counting along with the ref.

6...7...8...9…

Wilcox looks around the jam packed IIW arena. She points to her ear as the fans explode then she holds her fist up one more time and drives it basically through the skull of Edward's. 10 THE FANS ALL SCREAM. Wilcox jumps down as the almost lifeless body of Edward's crumbles to the mat. Wilcox grabs the leg of Edward's pulling her closer to the center of the ring. She leans down grabbing the other leg. She holds them apart with a sick smile then jumps, dropping both her legs directly to the groin of Edward's. Wilcox gets to her feet running to the corner she climbs to the top rope.

Nyssa - Normally I would say this is a high risk move but Edward's just isn't moving at all.

Leana - High risk high reward. But you're right Nyssa Edward's isn't in a good way out there.

Wilcox jumps off the top rope hitting a beautiful textbook Swanton Bomb. She immediately makes the cover. The ref slides down making the count.

1...2…KICKOUT

Nyssa - HOW SHE LOOKS DEAD IN THERE.

Leana - It's for a shot at the Evo title. Arguably the most sought after title in first class Edward's will fight until she physically can't anymore.

Nyssa - First sign of life she has shown all night.

Wilcox glares at the referee then stands up. She picks up Edward's then goes for a kick to the gut but Edwards manages to catch it. Wilcox smiles, jumping and catching Edward's in the back of the head with an enziguri. Again Edward's goes down hard. Wilcox once again picks up Edward's off the mat and carries her to the corner. Wilcox spins her then hangs her by the feet upside down in the corner. Wilcox runs to the opposite corner hitting the turnbuckle than fires off at full speed across the ring she baseball slides into the head of Edward's. Edward's feet unhook and her body falls on top of Wilcox. Wilcox brushes her off then stands up dragging her to the center of the ring. Wilcox picks up Edward's lifting her onto her shoulders than drives her head first into the mat.

Leana - Burning hammer. That's it, it's got to be over now.

Wilcox doesn't go for the pin though she rolls Edward's onto her stomach grabbing an arm and a leg locking in Tequila Sunrise.

Nyssa - Adding insult to injury I love it. Could have gone for the pin but does not. Wilcox wants to send a message to the Evo Champion.

Leana - She is sending a message to all of First Class here tonight.

Thenref slides down to see if Edward's gives up but gets nothing. He asks again, still nothing. He grabs the free arm of Edward's and holds it up. The ref lets go and it falls limp.

1

The Ref grabs the one free arm of Edward's again holding it up. He let's it go and for a second time it falls completely limp.

2

The Ref grabs Edward's arm again and holds it up. He drops it and it falls to the mat limp.

3

The bell rings, the match is over and Edda Wilcox wins.

Nyssa - Lauren Edwards is out cold. What a night for Edda Wilcox. A dominant win that she should be very proud of.

Leana - Strong showing for Wilcox tonight. She showed everyone how badly she wants a shot at that Evo title.

BACK TO THE SHOW!

Tag Team Match

Nyssa: Welcome back to more First Class action folks! Sorry to say we have a snoozer coming up next.

Leanna: Now now don’t be like that every match no matter the participants is great!

Nyssa: Fine it's going to be a GREAT nap, but the official debut of the Left Hand as a tag team doesn't bode well for Hixx and Landerson.

Leanna: They sure do have a mighty hill climb with Robin Vengence with her....teacher?...cult leader.....?

Nyssa: Let's just say life coach before Capello sets her sights on us! And the mood she has been in I'm not having any part of that

Leanna: Yes the self-described “New Evil” has been on a campaign of carnage as of late but came up short against our Ice Queen Ada Pierce. Let's see how the Left-Hand fair in tag team action against two women who seem to be in sync all of the time!

The lights in the Arena cut out as the Left-hand Theme begins as blood-red mist fills the arena walkway. Alessia steps out into view and simply raises her left hand as she sneers at the crowd and shortly after Robin steps out raising her own left before they make their way to the ring. Both women simply get into the ring and wait for their opponents seemingly talking tactics cocky smirks on their faces.

The lights cut out once again as green and yellow lights flash around the arena as Vengo Por Ti plays as Hixx and Landerson come out to the cheers of the First class faithful. High fiving each other as their combined entrance plays before they start for the ring giving high fives to the audience. After a bit more fan love both women get into the ring, each hopping onto a turnbuckle and basking in the cheers before hopping down and waiting for the bell.

Leanna: Stark contrast to the Left hand's solemn entrance you can feel the love of the Audience for these two women! I don't care what the odds are I'm cheering for them!

Nyssa: Well I'm a realist and I look at things without all that over-optimism and I think the sheer evil of Capello and Vengence will be enough to take it.

The bell rings with Hixx and Cappello starting things off in the ring. Capello once again looks to be speaking to her opponent her arms down as she seems to be unphased.

Leanna: Is she trying mind games like she did Ada at the Ice Crown?

Hixx doesn't look to want to hear anything Alessia is saying ss she keeps her defensive stance up. Alessia does a over exaggerated sign and holds her arms open looking to give Hixx a free shot leaning out

Nyssa: A total lack of respect on display I love I-

The arena explodes in cheers as Hixx delivers a stiff elbow right to Capello’s head the blow sending the Greek beast to the ground as crimson leaks from Hixx’s elbow as she stands over Capello triumphantly.

Leanna: There goes the folly of pride! Capello seemingly forgetting that unhealed wound given to her by pierce just a week ago.

Latoya wastes no time climbing the ropes and crouching down low as she waits for Capello to get up as Robin slams her foot on the mat trying to get her partners attention. It’s all for moot as Capello stumbled to her feet holding her forehead as her opponent delivers a picture perfect crossbody getting great height before slamming a already weakened Capello back down to the mat. Hixx extends the opportunity and rolls to her side of the ring and tagging in Landerson who helps pull Alessia up and they throw her into the ropes linking arms to give her a double clothesline their teamwork in synch as Robin can do nothing but fume.

Leanna: And this crowd has not stopped cheering as we are watching something amazing happen!

Hixx steps out of the ring as Landerson mocks Robin by raising her left...and then her right to the applause of the crowd before turning back to Capello who is firmly stuck in the opposite corner laid out on the mat. Landerson runs into the corner and hops over cappello before hopping up to the middle rope and slamming back down with a rough slingshot splash. Hixx apluades her team mate before they make the tag. Landerson sudnelly rushes to Robin slamming a elbow into her to send her off the ropes before following her to the ringside with a sucide dive both women crumbling to the ground.

Nyssa: These women seem to have actually planned how to worm as a team and even thought about how to get the other left hand member out of the way! I can't say I'm not shocked or massively impressed by these women!

Back inside the ring Hixx calls for the end as she gets up on the top rope in wait as Capello starts to stir. She eagerly motions for her to raise before she slowly stands on the top rope. Capella finally gets up her head leaking blood down her face in a repeat of the ice crown as she looks for Robin only to see her brawling with Landerson she shouts angerly before Hixx shuts her up with Diving Corkscrew stunner sending her down to the mat with a sick thud followed by a school boy pin.

1!

Nyssa: There is no way that just happened!

2!

3!

WINNERS: Latoya Hixx and Aaliyah Landerson!!

Leanna: You better believe that what just happened! These two women just beat the odds and showed you ANYONE can take the win if they come prepared. Capello and Vengeance clearly didn't take there opponents serious and lost in a dominate way! So much for “tag team dominance!”

Nyssa: Are you alright Leanna?......Well stick around folks we still have a Evolution Championship match and with how that just went who knows what will happen!

The intro cut version of Battle Cry by Little V blasts through the PA system, bringing the fans to their feet as the lights go out in the arena. The song builds and builds, and as Little V’s first line echoes through the arena, a single spotlight hits the top of the ramp, revealing Ada Pierce standing, solid as a rock, with her head bowed down. With the fans cheering, Ada stands still, her eyes closed, taking in every single cheer from the crowd. It’s when the chorus begins when Ada raises her head, letting out all of her energy and adrenaline with a fiery battle cry before making her way down the ramp with purpose as the spotlight follows her to the ring. With a motivated and passionate expression on her face, the Karateka wastes no time climbing up to the apron, kicking her flip-flops off before entering the ring. As the crowd cheers the winner of the Ice Crown Tournament, she turns to face the stage, awaiting the arrival her opponent.

Leana: I find it impossible for a woman to have more momentum that Ada Pierce has tonight. Against all odds, this woman managed to not only make it to the finals of the historic Ice Crown Tournament, but she also defeated fellow First Class Superstar, Alessia Capello, to win the whole thing and become the Ice Queen of IIW!

Nyssa: You have to wonder how much she has left in the tank. She truly gave that tournament everything she had in the tank

“Fire up that loud
Another round of shots!
Turn down for what?!”

An explosion sounds as the base hits and Lil Jon’s “Turn down for what” fills the arena as the crowd get completely hyped up. Steph steps out onto the top of the ramp jumping up and down and firing her arms in the air like she was shooting pistols before jumping and skipping down to the ring as the song continues, all but fully drowned out by the thunderous cheers from the fans.

She jumps up onto the apron grabs the top rope and front flips into the ring, dancing around as the song begins to slowly fade out and the house lights come up, taking herself to a corner and waiting for the bell. Shooting daggers at Ada Pierce, a woman who pushed her to her limits back in November during the Battle on the Atlantic, Steph knows that she’s in for a hell of a tough battle.

Leana: Ever since becoming the inaugural Evolution Champion back in October during our first-ever PPV, Malevolence, Stephanie LaCroix has been virtually unstoppable.

Nyssa: She’s had to deal with some of the toughest competition in all of First Class to walk into the first 2022 edition of First Class as champion, and I don’t foresee her dropping it any time soon.

With both women in the ring, the bell rings after the referee signals for the match to begin. With the main event officially underway, the challenger and the champion meet in the center of the ring. The champion, Steph LaCroix, extends her hand out of respect. With a smile on her face, the challenger, Ada Pierce, shakes her opponent’s hand before bowing to her. With the formalities out of the way, both women begin to circle each other in the ring, neither of them looking to jump into the deep end without testing the waters first, a clear sign of the respect they have for each other. Eventually, they finally lock up to a sizable pop of cheers from the crowd. Despite Ada’s clear size advantage, Steph’s more refined wrestling technique prevents her from quickly getting overpowered by the taller woman. But before you know it, Steph quickly circles around Ada, almost looking like she’s about to end things instantly with her destructive Hanging Dragon Suplex she calls “Sunny Daze”, but Ada manages to slip out of the champion’s grip before seemingly going for the Spinning Heel Kick she calls the “K.O.!”, only for Steph to quickly step away from the challenger!

Leana: Steph creating some much needed distance! Wow, both women showing each other how quickly they can end things!

Nyssa: We both know it isn’t going to end this quickly. Not after the wars both of these women have survived in order to make it this far.

Ada shoots a smile and a wink at the champion before once again circling her as the fans find themselves on the edge of their seats. Deciding to risk things, Pierce rushes LaCroix before the champion responds with an attempt at a clothesline, but the challenger ducks under it, quickly turning around before unleashing a quick flurry for elbows to Steph’s face, capping the combination off with a kick to the mid-section that causes the champion to double over. Ada pivots, looking to take advantage of her opponent’s vulnerable state, but before she can throw anything out, Steph instantly pops up with a brutal Spinning Forearm Smash that sends the challenger stumbling against the corner. Wasting no time, the champion sprints to the opposite corner before returning with double the momentum as she boots the cornered challenger across the face. Pierce stumbles towards the center of the ring, nursing her face, only to turn around to a flying champion as she eats a dropkick that finally brings her down to the mat. Pierce instinctively rolls out of the ring, finding herself overwhelmed by the fiery champion’s seemingly never-ending flurry of offense. Steph, on the other hand, has no interest in letting the newly-crowned Ice Queen collect herself on the outside. With a lot left in the tank, Steph hits the ropes, rebounding with all the momentum in the world before leaping out of the ring… only to be caught in mid-air by a roundhouse kick to the skull, courtesy of the Karateka!

Nyssa: The champion crashes and most definitely burns!

Leana: Oof! That right there is a prime example of Ada Pierce’s spontaneous offense!

Having dropped like a sack of potatoes, the champion nurses her head while attempting to figure out where she is after the brutal kick she just suffered. Pierce realizes that this is a rare opportunity for her to take advantage of, but the Karateka has no interest in continuing the fight on the outside. She reaches over for Steph, grabbing a fistful of her hair before rolling her back inside the ring. Giving chase, Ada re-enters the ring with bad intentions for Steph, audibly calling for her to return to her feet. While dazed, the fighting champion stumbles back to her feet, but all she gets for a reward is another brutal combination of hard-hitting jabs and kicks to the face and torso. Having softened her up, Ada shoots a low kick, successfully landing it as Steph collapses to her knees. Seeing red, Pierce lets out a fierce battle cry before shooting a side kick to the champion’s skull, rocking her brain. Instinctively, Steph throws a wild haymaker at nothing but empty air before collapsing to the mat, giving Ada the opportunity to go for the first pin attempt of this highly contested match. Hooking the inside leg, Ada makes the cover as the referee slides in for the count:

One…
Tw— Kickout!

Leana: Not even a count of two! Steph is still in this thing!

Nyssa: You gotta wonder how smart that is. If I was Steph, I would’ve kicked out at the very last second just to catch my breath. Ada with momentum on her side is incredibly dangerous.

Pierce smiles as LaCroix kicks out, expecting nothing less from the champion. The abrupt end to Ada’s attempt at ending things, however, tells her that she must exit her comfort zone if she wants to leave the ring with the Evolution Championship. Whatever she’s doing, it isn’t enough. Opting for a grapple move this time, Pierce pulls the champion back up to her feet before tucking her head under her arm. The Karateka smirks as she looks to pay her opponent back for the brutal DDT she ate back in November during their first bout, looking to plant her with a DDT of her own, but Steph digs deep enough to bring a stop to this, dropping to a knee before firing vicious strikes at her opponent’s stomach, eventually causing the Ice Queen to release her as she stumbles away from her, nursing her mid-section. Pierce, almost angered by LaCroix’s resilience, yells out in frustration as she rushes her opponent, but the champion rolls to the side, sweeping Pierce’s ankles, causing her to crash down to the mat before quickly hooking her legs for the pin!

One!
Two!
Kickout!

Pierce instantly returns to her feet as LaCroix does so as well, running in with an attempt at a Spinning Forearm Smash, but the Karateka throws her arm up, deflecting the champion’s strike before rolling her up with an inside cradle!

One!
Two!
Th— Kickout!

Both women instantly pop back up to their feet, meeting right in the middle of the ring, but with a full head of steam, Stephanie LaCroix boots Ada Pierce right in the head, sending the challenger stumbling against the ropes, but she bounces off, returning with a boot of her own to the champion’s skull! LaCroix, seeing double of Ada, struggles to remain on her feet, but a sudden burst of adrenaline causes her to unleash her own flurry of strikes as the crowd’s cheers grow louder and louder the longer the champion’s onslaught continues while the challenger desperately tries, and mostly fails, to block as much of it as she can. Letting out a battle cry of her own, Steph caps it off with a vicious forearm to Ada’s jaw that elicits a collective gasp from the fans in the packed arena. With both women dazed and with little left in the tank, they both stumble away from each other… before yelling out in unison as they both throw out roundhouse kicks to each others’ skulls, successfully landing at the same time before collapsing to the mat as the crowd applaud both women for leaving everything they’ve got in the ring.

Leana: My god! This has turned into an all-out slugfest!

Nyssa: It’s practically impossible to determine who’s winning at this point! What a fight!

The challenger, somehow, finds it within herself to crawl to the ropes as she attempts to shake off the effect of the kick she just ate. Meanwhile, the champion has already reached the ropes, pulling them to assist herself back up to her feet as Ada does the same. Noticing her opponent catching her breath against the ropes, Steph decides to risk it all as she sprints with a full head of steam before succeeding in clotheslining Ada, sending the challenger flying over the top ropes before crashing down to the concrete on the outside. LaCroix begins to feel the fans’ energy as they cheer her on, taking a moment to look at the fans in the arena before deciding to show off her athleticism once more as Ada struggles to return to her feet on the outside. With the fans behind her, the champion hits the ropes once again, bouncing off before succeeding this time in landing the suicide dive to a thunderous pop from the crowd!

Leana: She got it this time!

Nyssa: Throw her back inside and pin her! Pin her!

Almost as if she could hear Nyssa screaming her lungs out on commentary, Steph fights through the pain as she grabs Ada before tossing her back inside the ring. Instead of rolling in after her, it appears the champion has bigger plans. Realizing that she’s got the challenger right where she wants her, Steph makes her way up the steel steps in the corner before climbing to the top turnbuckle, no doubt looking to land her signature Twisting Stunner she calls the “Stephacide”. With her feet balanced on the top turnbuckle, Steph waits and waits for Ada to return to her feet, but the challenger appears completely spent, laid out flat on her back. Forced to make an adjustment to her plans, Steph shrugs before turning her body around, leaping into the air with a beautiful moonsault… only to crash and burn as Ada gets her knees up!!! The champion bounces off her opponent’s knees, clutching at her chest in pain as the fans lose their minds in the arena. Ada begins to dig deep, crawling to the ropes as she tries to make it back up to her feet. She eventually manages to grab the middle rope, using it to pull herself up… before the lights go out. A feeling of dread washes over the fans in the arena, fearing the worst… before the worst comes to life when the lights come back on to reveal none other than Mercedes-Jane Debonair standing in the middle of the ring, directly behind Ada Pierce, armed with a kendo stick!

Leana: No! No! Not again!

Nyssa: Don’t turn around, Karate Girl!

Ada Pierce, continuing to pull herself up, knows exactly what she has to deal with when she turns around. This happened back in November during her first match against Stephanie LaCroix, causing the title match to end in a disqualification, and it happened again when the referee was down during the Ice Crown Tournament finals. Mercedes grins, winding back with the kendo stick, ready for Ada to turn around and have the weapon smashed over her skull. This time, however, the overwhelming boos quickly turn to deafening cheers when Steph rushes in to pull the kendo stick away from Mercedes! With the fans cheering their lungs out, Mercy turns around to face her former partner, yelling several obscenities out before the Evolution Champion decides that she’s heard enough when she smashes the kendo stick directly over Debonair’s skull! Mercedes collapses to the mat, but Steph refuses to let up, continuing to whack the defenseless Mercedes with the kendo stick over and over again to thunderous applause from the audience.

Leana: Get her, champ! Get her!

Nyssa: Steph has snapped!!!

LaCroix finally tosses the splintered kendo stick away before booting the barely-conscious Mercedes out of the ring. She turns her attention to Ada Pierce in the corner before practically begging her to bring it on! The Karateka, after a slight bow of appreciation, looks to satisfy her opponent when she dashes in, looking to decapitate the champion with a vicious attempt at a clothesline, but Steph ducks under it, quickly popping up before rolling the challenger up for the pin!

Kickout!

Ada kicks out, quickly returning to her feet as Steph does the same, and with little left in the tank for both women, Pierce decides it’s either now or never. She fakes a low kick, causing Steph to block low before pivoting and throwing out her brutal Skull Kick… to nothing but thin air! Thrown off balance, Ada finds herself vulnerable, and the champion takes advantage of this vulnerability when she grabs Ada’s arms, hooking them up, looking to end things with Sunny Daze!!! Unable to free herself, the Karateka desperately kicks at the air, looking to break the champion’s grip, but Steph is relentless, hanging on for dear life. Finally, she attempts to land the Dragon Suplex… but Pierce flips out of it, landing on her feet to a thunderous pop from the fans! Steph’s eyes widen, fearing the absolute worst as she turns around to block whatever’s coming her way, but Pierce finally empties the tank, throwing her entire body into the air as she finally lands the “K.O.!” spinning heel kick! Both women collapse to the mat, but Ada, with a final burst of energy, jumps on top of Steph’s motionless body, weakly hooking her leg as the referee slides in for the count!

Winner and NEW Evolution Champion: ADA PIERCE!

Leanna: She did it!!! For the first time since it's creation, the Evolution Championship has changed hands, and it's second ever holder is ADA PIERCE!!

Nyssa: First Ice Crown? Now Evo Championship? Anything else this little twerp should get that she doesn't deserve??

Leanna: Oh, come off it! Ada Pierce has worked her little tail off to get where she is now!

Nyssa: This was yet another disappointing First Class... not that Steph winning it would have been any more interesting.

Leanna: I really enjoyed the beginning of the show when... there was nothing you were saying coming through to my ears!

Nyssa: What-

Leanna: I cut her mic... We have a new Evo Champion!!! Ada Pierce!! And that conclude our first First Class of the new year!! For Nyssa, I'm Leanna, thank you for joining us and we'll see you next time!!!!
