 Squads Elimination Madness!!

Ada Pierce's first Evolution Title Defense!

And Much Much MORE!!

MATCH 1

MAIN EVENT

Outside the arena we see Edda Wilcox standing near the entrance. Suddenly a car pulls up and out comes Grimjack, wearing his brown fur coat. Smoke billows out of the car. His driver drives away as Grimjack walks up to Edda.

Wilcox: I was starting to worry. Where have you been?

Grimjack: I’ve been investigating the Left Hand. You’re not going to believe what I found out. You can’t join them!

Wilcox: Don’t worry I’m not going to. They’re clowns. I’m going to beat Capello’s ass.

Grimjack: Oh. Ok. That’s good to hear. So, do you have a match tonight?

Wilcox: Well . . .

The scene fades out.

The scene opens to First Class general manager Solace Tatum sitting at the desk in her new office, scurrying to finish signing paperwork before the second First Class begins. A knock at the door but she doesn’t look up.

Solace: What’s up?

“Where would you like these?” The woman asks.

Solace looks up, trying not to seem annoyed, when she sees a ginormous vase of yellow flowers.

“For me?” Solace is surprised, “I guess here is fine.”

She makes room on her desk and the woman walks them in, cautiously placing them on the counter.

“They are very beautiful…” the woman smiles, and Solace returns her own, “Thank you.”

Solace notices a small card hanging from a string wrapped around the vase and reaches to open it. Her eyes narrow as she reads the small writing: “Congratulations! May your success burn as the sun.” but no name was given. Solace recognized the flowers, they were Japanese, what the west would call “Sunflowers” these were a specific strain… Himawari flowers.

She began thinking about who could have sent these but her thoughts were interrupted by another knock at the door.

“What is it?” Solace asks, looking up.

The head of security walks in, “Ms. Tatum, we’ve received another bomb threat for the venue.”

Solace scoffs, her head falling with a deep sigh.

“Mark, what should I do here?” Solace asks, “I mean, how often do these things happen and are just bullshit?”

“Honestly, ma’am, I’d be lying if I told you it didn’t happen… and I’d also be lying if I told you I would normally be concerned… but we’ve been receiving these threats since before the last First Class… and throughout the week before this one yet again… I don’t personally believe it’s anything credible, and we’ve searched the building over and over… as well as scanned every single entry into this building, roster and fans alike. There is nothing that we don’t know about here”

Solace thinks, uncertain what she should do, peering her eyes to see the security footage of an already half-full arena, along with the long line of people still filing in. She also thinks about her quarter’s decreasing revenue, realizing that canceling this event could be the nail in the coffin… against her better judgment, she makes the call.

“Just be vigilant… I think we’ll be fine tonight.” Solace reluctantly smiles.

“Agreed.” Mark says, “And I will…”

As Mark leaves, Solace wonders if she is making a mistake, her eyes falling back to the Himawari flowers with the strange message that came with it.

AT RINGSIDE!

Lyanna: Welcome everyone to First Class and we are about to jump right into this HUGE match momentarily but...

Nyssa: Wait is that...

There are no lights, no pomp and pageantry and Stephanie LaCroix doesn’t come dancing down the aisle as Lil Jon’s “Turn down for what?!” Blares through the speakers. The crowd erupt as Steph walks down the aisle, carrying the Evolution Title, polite smile and nod as she slaps hands with fans before sliding under the bottom rope, hopping up and asking for a microphone.

Steph - Okay so, I’m not going to beat around the bush. I know many of you are firstly wondering why I’m out here and secondly wondering why I’ve still got *this* in my possession. Don’t worry, I’m really not a sore loser… This week I spoke to Solace Tatum and asked if I could get this back for one night only, well half hour really as I wanted to do this properly. So, Ada Pierce, could you come out here! Please…

It’s silent for all of about ten, perhaps fifteen seconds and then the intro cut version of “Battle Cry” by Little V blasts through the PA system, bringing the fans to their feet, however like with Stephanie, there is no light play and Ada doesn’t come out all giddy like. She is smiling and applauding Steph in a non sarcastic way as she walks to the ring. She jogs up the ring steps, climbs in and hops a turnbuckle raising her arms as this time it’s Steph’s turn to applaud her as the crowd erupt. Ada asks for her own microphone as Steph speaks again.

Steph - Ada thank you, for taking the time to come down here and I bet you’re also wondering, why I’m holding the First Class Evolution Title, when it doesn’t belong to me anymore? So here it is… I said from day one, when you and I first ever laid eyes on one another, that if I were to be happy that anyone was carrying the belt instead of me it would have to be YOU! And I’d feel zero shame losing to you and now that time has come…

Stephanie steps back a little, sliding the Evo Belt from her shoulder, as Ada takes to the microphone.

Ada - Steph... I cannot put into words the amount of respect I have for you and everything you've accomplished...

The Karateka lowers his microphone to allow the fans their moment to cheer Steph on as the inaugural Evolution Champion. In fact, Ada evens points her microphone at the audience, begging them to cheer even louder for Steph. But eventually, the brings the microphone back up to her lips, continuing.

Ada - The reason I signed up to be in this world, this professional wrestling world... it was to prove myself against the best, Steph. I wanted to face people like you. I wanted to push myself, become stronger, find my ceiling and crash right through that damn thing. And you... you pushed me to my limits. Pushed me past them, even. If you had beaten me, introduced me to Sunny Daze... I would've still walked out here and shaken your hand. Because you are a living legend.

Ada smiles at Steph, lowering her microphone once more to allow the fans the chance to rightfully cheer LaCroix for her phenomenal championship reign.

Ada - I promise... I promise that I'll always think of our battle, of your championship reign, every SINGLE time I walk out here to defend it. And most importantly... I will not let you down. While I had my doubts about you after the whole... Coven business... I'll say this... I'll forever have your back, Steph. No matter what happens. You... are my friend.

The fans in attendance erupt with the loudest pop of the night thus far. It has been a grueling path to this moment, one filled with doubts, and they are more than ecstatic to finally hear Ada give Steph the love she deserves.

Ada - I promise you... and I promise each and every one of these fans that I will use this championship as a platform. A platform built on respect. Honour. A platform designed to accommodate worthy challengers. Challengers like Kelsey Frost!

The crowd pops big for Kelsey, a woman who proved she was here to make a statement when she arrived in the Ice Crown Tournament.

Ada - Even challengers... like Mercedes-Jane Debonair.

A synchronous "boo!" drowns the arena out as the fans waste no time in letting their opinion be heard.

Ada - No matter who they put in front of me... I'm gonna make you proud, Steph.

Steph smiles as the crowed erupts into chants of “Stephanie - Ada - Stephanie - Ada” she laughs a little as she lifts the microphone up.

Steph - Ada I know you’re going to be the the most ferocious Champion this Title will ever have from this point because as I said before people like you and I ARE the Evolution of First Class! We ARE what this company is about… I know you had your doubts about me and I’ve never held that against you…

The crowd continue to roar their approval as Steph steps back a little.

Steph - I’m just glad that both Casie and I were able to prove to you, to Solace and the rest of the locker room that we meant what we said… And of course unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, last week, she’s unable to be here but essentially it all boils down to this.

Steph holds the Evolution belt up once again and the crowd go ecstatic as Ada grins from ear to ear.

Steph - Ladies and gentlemen! I give to you, the NEWEST, MOST DESERVING AND DEFENDING EVOLUTION CHAMPION! AAAAADDDDDAAAAA PIIIIEEERRRCCCEEE!!

Steph drops the microphone, shoving the Title into Ada’s hand and raises the one holding the microphone. Ada is pulled back in as Steph gives her a big hug, before backing away and holding her hands out toward Ada, signalling to the crowd to cheer the new Champion as the intro cut version of “Battle Cry” by Little V plays again and Ada hops up, onto the turnbuckle whilst Steph, leaves the ring under the ropes, backing away up the aisle applauding all the way behind the curtain.

Nyssa: Wow!

Leanna: We have to take a quick break and we will be right back after this!!

SQUADS ELIMINATION 4-WAY WAR

All four teams are at their corners as the referee calls to them to get started. Jamie Riott decides to head in, representing team pink while arguing with most of her team beforehand. Latoya Hixx, representing team red also heads to the center of the ring and the referee calls for the bell to officially start the match. The green team seem more interested in watching the teal team who are already arguing with themselves on the apron.

Leanna: Well we are ready to start this huge sixteen woman match!

Nyssa: These teams are oddly put together and already look about ready to implode!

Leanna: No kidding! Look at the left hand! My god they’re coming to blows with their own partners, Jolie Vexx and Arielle Dixon!

Vexx and Dixon get pulled off the apron by their partners and all four begin to brawl the referee yells out to them while Riott drops Hixx with a cheap shot of a fore arm to the face. The other four brawl their way to the back while the referee gives up yelling at them and goes back to the match. Riott scoops Hixx back up and takes her right back down with a headlock takedown. Riott applies pressure while Hixx struggles for a moment. She turns her body and catches Riott with a head scissor lock but Riott rolls through and suddenly has Hixx rolled up in a tight pin.

Kick out by Hixx!

Leanna: Close call early for Hixx!

Nyssa: So is team Teal just gone now?

Leanna: Well it seems like it, they just started fighting all the way to the back.

Nyssa: Guess we’re down to three teams then…

Hixx gets back to her feet and Riott goes for a kick to the gut. Hixx catches her foot but Riott counters immediately with a nasty enziguri. Hixx stumbles and falls forward, crashing into the corner of team green. Anya Sharapova tags herself in and hops up and over the ropes and into the ring. Unfortunately she is caught by Riott as she enters the ring and is nailed with a vicious looking T-bone Suplex. Sharapova basically lands on her head and neck before crumpling to the mat. Riott quickly makes a cover while everyone watches in shock.

2…

3!!!

Leanna: Wow! Just like that, Sharapova is eliminated!

Nyssa: Ouch, she barely got in the ring before eating it right away!

Lauren Edwards enters next and catches Riott with a front drop kick that sends her reeling backwards. Riott crashes into her own corner and turns, looking for a tag from Miley Virus. The fans boo harshly as Virus spits in Riott’s face and then hops off the apron. She flips off her team and the fans before heading to the back, apparently done with the match. Stephanie Lacroix tags herself into the match while Edwards takes a stance and then races towards her. Lacroix lunges forward and the two women collide with a double clothesline.

Leanna: What the? Now Miley Virus has left the match?

Nyssa: She truly doesn’t play well with others.

Lacroix rolls over and manages to get to the empty corner while Edwards recovers as well. Suddenly the fans stir once again as Alessia Capello makes her way back to the ring. She runs to the corner for team teal and slaps Lacroix as she gets up, essentially tagging herself in. Edwards marches over to the two women in the corner and swings for the fences but Capello ducks under it and goes behind her. She grabs Edwards and rag dolls her from behind. She then nails the Judgment German suplex and holds the bridge.

1…

2…

3!!!

Leanna: Edwards has been eliminated by apparently the only member for team Teal!

Nyssa: Capello is back out her and I guess the only one left for team Teal.

All four members of team red enter the ring at once and attack Capello. She fights them off for a moment while the referee struggles to restore order but then Capello turns right into Landerson powering up and hoisting her up by the waist. Latoya Hixx jumps up and catches Capello with a picture perfect 3-D out of nowhere. Tamara Winther suddenly drops down and makes the cover while the referee yells at the rest of them to exit the ring. Finally the referee makes a count.

1…

2…

Kick out by Capello!

Leanna: How did she kick out of that!?

Nyssa: Capello somehow sole surviving here!

Leanna: She’s really gone into beast mode here!

Winther gets up and starts arguing with the referee about the count while Capello shakes her head and crawls over to the corner of team green and Denise DiMarco reaches over and tags herself in. She enters the ring as Winther turns around and spots her. She snaps off a super kick but DiMarco blocks it and spins her around. She goes for a belly to belly but Winther counters and throws her to the ropes instead. DiMarco bounces off the ropes and catches Winther by surprise with the Diamond Mind running bicycle kick. She drops down and makes the cover.

1…

2…

3!!!

Leanna: Winther is eliminated!

Nyssa: What a powerful shot!

Leanna: With all the chaos going on they’re dropping like flies.

Nyssa: Definitely a wild match!

DiMarco gets up as Kelsey Frost enters next. Frost runs at her but is met with a big spear from DiMarco from out of nowhere. She gets up a roars as the crowd pops for her display of strength. DiMarco pulls Frost up and drags her over to the Green team corner. She presses her into it while tagging in Mercedes. They double team Frost and hit a beautiful sidewalk slam and reverse DDT at the same time. Mercedes gets up while DiMarco exits the ring. Frost tries to get up slowly but Mercedes grabs her from behind and hits the Merciless double knee backbreaker. She makes the cover.

1…

2…

3!!!

Leanna: And there goes Kelsey Frost!

Nyssa: Team Red was looking like they had an advantage one minute and now they’re down two members!

Mercedes gets to her feet and turns around as Zoe Tomlinson steps into the ring now. Tomlinson charges at her and goes for a clothesline but Mercedes rolls under the attempt and jumps over to the corner of team Red. She tags in Aaliya Landerson but has her arm held. Mercedes is drilled from behind with a huge running avalanche from Tomlinson. Landerson leap frogs over the ropes and catches Tomlinson with a hurricarona that sends her into the ropes. Landerson signals to the crowd and then hits the Landerson 619 to a big pop. She makes the cover.

1…

2…

3!!!

Leanna: Unbelievable connection! Tomlinson’s night is over!

Nyssa: That was freakin’ awesome!

Stephanie Lacroix enters the ring once again while Landerson pops up and goes over and tags in her partner Latoya Hixx. Lacroix runs over and drills Landerson with a stiff elbow to the side of the head, knocking her through the ropes and out of the ring. She turns around to a big boot to the stomach from Hixx. She grabs hold of Lacroix and manages to pull her in and hit the sit out scoop slam piledriver on her. Hixx is quick to make the cover on Lacroix.

1…

2…

3!!!

Leanna: Hixx eliminates Lacroix!

Nyssa: She hit that with precision!

Hixx gets back up as Riott enters back into the ring. The two begin to trade shots before Riott winds up and fires off a spinning back fist. Hixx blocks it and goes for a Russian leg sweep but Riott counters into a face buster instead to take Hixx down. Riott gets up and pulls Hixx back to her feet. She goes for an Irish whip but Hixx tries to reverse it. Riott manages to reverse it back and sends Hixx hurtling into the corner of team Green. She tags Mercedes just before Riott levels her from behind. Mercedes enters the ring but Riott sends Hixx crashing into her. She then rolls her up while she’s stunned and puts both feet on the ropes for leverage.

1…

2…

3!!!

Leanna: Riott with the feet on the ropes!

Nyssa: Ref didn’t see it!

Leanna: Mercedes is eliminated and team Green is now down to their last member!

Nyssa: Not many left now.

Alessia Capello enters again and ducks a spinning heel kick from Riott. She grabs her by the waist and tosses Riott into the corner hard. Riott is smacked in the back of the head by Aaliya Landerson to be tagged out. Capello clotheslines the distracted Riott over the ropes and out to the floor. She turns around as Landerson enters the ropes and hits a drop toe hold, sending Capello falling into the ropes. Landerson signals for it and goes for the Landerson 619 to the delight of the crowd except Capello catches her by both legs.

Capello shows off some impressive power by pulling Landerson into the ring, up into the air and then spikes her down to the mat with a vicious spine buster. Capello gets back to her feet and looks enraged. She screams for Landerson to get back up. Hixx runs into the ring but Capello sees her coming and knocks her down with a big boot. She turns back to Landerson and hits her with The Left Hook, knocking her out completely. Capello turns to Hixx trying to get up and nails her with The Left Hook as well. She covers both girls at the same time while the referee shrugs and makes the count.

1…

2…

3!!!

Leanna: Whoa! Double elimination!

Nyssa: Capello just took out Hixx and Landerson at the same time.

Leanna: Can anyone stop her?

Nyssa: I don’t think so…

Denise DiMarco finally gets back into the ring and as Capello gets back to her feet. The two lock up and DiMarco ties Capello up with a deep arm wrench. She kicks her in the gut and then hooks her for a suplex but Capello reverses it into a suplex of her own. She brings DiMarco down with authority. Riott enters the ring from behind the referee and then runs over and nails Capello with a running bulldog. Riott rolls back out of the ring while the referee can’t really do much. DiMarco recovers before Capello can get up.

Capello starts to pull herself up, looking towards the apron where Riott is taunting her now. Capello gets up and turns around where a waiting DiMarco comes full force with a brutal Diamond Mind running bicycle kick. Capello drops to the mat in the middle of the ring while the crowd pops at the exchange of events and big move. DiMarco makes the cover and hooks both legs of the stunned Capello.

1…

2…

3…NO!!! Kick out by Capello at the last fraction of a second!

Leanna: Could it have been any closer!?

Nyssa: How did she even kick out!?

The fans go wild at the kick out to show their appreciation. Capello slowly rolls over while DiMarco is on her knees in disbelief. She yells at the referee for a moment before slamming her hand on the mat and then getting to her feet. DiMarco steps back and stalks Capello who is slowly pulling herself back up. DiMarco races forward and goes for another Diamond Mind running bicycle kick but Capello just barely side steps her. She hooks her by the waist and nails the Judgement German suplex and holds the bridge for the pin.

1…

2…

3!!!

Leanna: She did it! Capello eliminates DiMarco!

Nyssa: Unbelievable!

In the ring Capello is standing tall, the only one standing. Suddenly the song “How do you Sleep” hits and out comes running Edda Wilcox, with Grimjack walking slowly behind her. Capello starts yelling at her and motioning for her to bring it. Edda grabs a steel chair and slides into the ring with it. The referee gets in the way to stop the interference. Edda is yelling at Capello. The referee grabs the chair away from her and tosses it out of the ring while still staying in between the two women, stopping any interference. Suddenly Grimjack grabs the chair and enters the ring from the other side of the ring and is sneaking up behind Capello. The fans start cheering wildly. Capello turns around and sees Grimjack there standing with the chair. The referee is still arguing with Edda, telling her to leave ringside. Grimjack rushes at Capello and tries to hit her with the chair but she ducks it, and then she winds up and hits him with the “Left Hook”, a rough left hand punch that sends him flipping through the air and he’s out cold. The referee turns around and sees Grimjack out cold with the chair next to him, but he didn’t see any interference. He is asking Capello what happened but she ignores him as she is kicking the out cold Grimjack out of the ring. Edda goes to Grimjack and is trying to help him up as she yells obscenities at Capello, who yells them right back.

Then the match continues.

Capello rolls off of DiMarco but Riott runs over and drills her in the face with a nasty front drop kick. Capello is holding her nose now as blood starts to ooze out. Riott pulls her up and Capello throws a wild haymaker. Riott just barely avoids it before driving her knee hard into Capello’s gut. She quickly pulls her in and then nails her with the Nova Scotia Nonsense package piledriver. The fans pop once again at the big time move while Riott scrambles to roll Capello over and make a cover.

1…

2…

3!!!

Leanna: I don’t believe it! After all that.

Nyssa: Jamie Riott secures the last pinfall and the victory for team Pink!

Leanna: Great effort from Capello but it just wasn’t enough.

Nyssa: Maybe if she had an actual team she would have done better but for now she comes up short.

Leanna: What an incredible match the crowd is still buzzing!

WINNER: JAMIE RIOTT!

The sound of strings is heard before ‘How Do You Sleep’ by John Lennon hits. Edda Wilcox comes walking out through the entrance way, noticeably coming out by herself with no Grimjack in sight. Edda is wearing her battle jacket that has the initials IIW on the back amongst other patches of her favorite bands and sayings. Taking in the atmosphere, Edda smiles as she looks out at the crowd, looking more than ready to call herself a champion before the end of the night. Nodding, she walks down the ramp slapping hands with the fans, visibly excited to make some history tonight. She slides into the ring and bounces back and forth between the ropes getting used to them. She says a silent prayer to herself that no one can hear as she waits for the arrival of the Evolution Champion as her entrance theme dies down…

Leana: “After her dominant performance over Lauren Edwards, Edda Wilcox is looking to cap off this surge of momentum with a huge victory tonight!”

Nyssa: “And she looks more than capable!”

Leana: “Interestingly, it appears that Edda’s out here by herself. No Grimjack. How do you think that’ll factor into her performance?”

Nyssa: “I think Edda’s gonna be just fine, Leana. Whatever Grimjack did before Edda took Lauren Edwards on, it worked. And I’m guessing he did the same tonight. Wish your protege luck, give ‘er a pat on the back and let her do her thing.”

Before long, the intro cut version of Battle Cry by Little V blasts through the PA system, bringing the fans to their feet as the lights go out in the arena. The song builds and builds, and as Little V’s first line echoes through the arena, a single spotlight hits the top of the ramp, revealing Ada Pierce standing, solid as a rock, with her head bowed down. With the fans popping off,, Ada stands still, her eyes closed, taking in every single cheer from the crowd. It’s when the chorus begins when she raises her head, letting out all of her energy and adrenaline with a fiery battle cry before making her way down the ramp with purpose as the spotlight follows her to the ring. As her long hair flows with the wind, Ada takes her time when she reaches the halfway point of the ramp, taking the opportunity to high-five and fist bump several fans, yelling out with pure excitement as she finally finds herself walking into a match with a championship title wrapped around her waist over her black belt. The Karateka, the Evolution Champion, has arrived, shooting daggers at Edda Wilcox in the ring as she climbs up to the apron, kicking her flip flops off before entering the ring. Keeping her eyes locked-on Wilcox, Ada removes the championship off her waist before proudly displaying it to the fans in the front row, eliciting yet another giant pop from the crowd.

Leana: “Ada Pierce looks beyond ready in this first championship defence in her career. Filled with that infectious Karateka energy!”

Nyssa: “Here’s hoping she doesn’t burn herself out before the bell rings. Christ, lady! Relax!”

As her music dies down, Ada hands her title to the referee before slowly retreating to her corner, continuing to stare the challenger down as the referee holds the title in the air before handing it over to a nearby ringside crew member. Finally, the bell rings and out comes Edda Wilcox, sprinting out of her corner with a full head of steam before leaping up into the air and landing a devastating dropkick on the champion! Pierce hits the turnbuckles hard, but Edda has no interest in allowing the Karateka a moment’s reprieve as she quickly climbs up the middle before raining down a flurry of strikes on Ada’s skull, the crowd popping bigtime as they realise that Wilcox is applying the very same gameplan she had going into her match against Lauren Edwards. The fans cannot help but count along with Edda after every punch…

1…! 2…! 3…! 4…! 5…! 6…! 7…! 8…! 9…!

Wilcox pauses, looking around the arena with a widened smile on her face, goading the crowd into popping big for the tenth and final strike… but suddenly, Ada Pierce clutches at Wilcox’s legs, props her up over her shoulders, runs across the ring before tossing the challenger against the corner, landing a huge Turnbuckle Powerbomb!

Nyssa: “Holy shit! Edda almost beat Ada in the exact same way she beat Lauren the last time we saw her!”

Leana: “It would’ve been over if Ada hadn’t done something there!”

Nyssa: “Instinct! Pure instinct from Pierce!”

Ada, still feeling the effects of the nine closed-fist strikes she just took to her forehead, collapses to a knee as Edda kicks at the air, nursing her back after the huge powerbomb she just ate from the champion. Pure instinct drove Ada out of the predicament she found herself in, and if it wasn’t for her resilience, Edda would’ve taken this thing further into a potential early win, shocking the world in the process. As the Karateka nurses her head, she realises exactly how dangerous her opponent is. This shot at the title has transformed Edda WIlcox into a different beast, and that fact motivates the champion to not hold back an inch in her offense. Pierce, angered by Wilcox, rips her uwagi top off, tossing at the crowd, prompting a huge pop as she returns to her feet, now in her black tank top, almost begging Edda to get back up. And eventually, Wilcox wills herself back up only for her eyes to widen when she realizes that Ada has already thrown out her “K.O.!” spinning heel kick, and somehow, someway, Edda ducks under the kick only to counter it with an elegant Enzuigiri that almost takes the champion’s head off.

Nyssa: “Leana, get ready to catch Ada’s head! It’s coming over this way!”

Leana: “What a split-second dodge and counter from the challenger!”

Nyssa: “Ada got emotional paid big time.”

Ada hits the mat hard as Edda rests against the bottom turnbuckle, catching her breath as the fans shower both competitors with applause, finding themselves blown away by the explosive start to the main event of the evening. The champion desperately scrambles back up to her feet only for Edda to quickly rush in before scooping Pierce up, flexing to the crowd as she keeps the champion in position before dropping her down for one hell of a Body Slam! The crowd cheers Edda on, unable to help themselves but root for the rising star in this challenger as she meets the rising champion with yet another Body Slam! Pierce yells out in pain, nursing her back as she rises back up to her feet, the challenger more than ready to dish out another Body Slam to reward her opponent for her resilience. But this time, it doesn’t go down how Wilcox planned as Ada instinctively throws out a roundhouse kick that successfully catches Edda in the side of her head before both women collapse to the mat to thunderous applause from the First Class faithful in attendance.

Leana: “My god, what a match!!!”

Nyssa: “Pierce just won’t stay down!”

Leana: “And neither will Edda!”

Nyssa: “Edda Wilcox CLEARLY went into this match looking to end it as fast as she ended her bout with Edwards, but Pierce is refusing to let it happen.”

Leana: “She didn’t claw her way up the mountain to let it end this way, Nyssa.”

Nyssa: “That’s… what I just said.”

Leana: “shut up”

Both women roll around in the ring, clawing their way back up to their feet as they stare each other down in the middle of the ring. Finally, they make it to their feet before exchanging blows. First, Edda lands a vicious forearm to Ada’s skull to a pop from the fans, but the champion immediately responds with a forearm of her own, leading to yet another pop from the fans. The crowd is visibly and audibly divided as both women lay into one another, but Ada eventually gets the upper hand when she begins laying into Wilcox with repeated side kicks to the body, bringing the fans up to their feet.

Leana: “Now it’s the champion with momentum on her side!”

Nyssa; “Do something, Edda!!!”

Ada lets out a blood-curdling roar as she winds up the final kick, looking to take Wilcox’s head off with it, only for the challenger to duck under the kick, rushing under it, now facing a back-turned Karateka. Out of desperation, Edda pushes Ada towards the ropes, only for the champ to use the momentum in propelling herself to the air, planting her feet on the ropes before backflipping and crashing down on Wilcox’s skull with a brutal Karate Chop! Edda looks to be proper out of it, prompting the champion to crawl over the challenger for the first pinfall attempt of the match thus far…

1…

2…

Kickout!

Edda defiantly raises her shoulder and kicks her legs in the air, breaking the pin as the fans applaud her for her resilience. Ada, despite her disappointment, cannot help but nod as she finds herself respecting her opponent’s resilience and will to fight. Before long, Edda uses the nearby ropes to assist herself back up to a vertical base, but all she gets for her heart is a clothesline up and over the top rope as Ada throws her entire body into the strike, causing both women to crash down to the concrete at ringside. With both women now outside the ring, the referee begins a count…

1!

Ada begins to stir, grabbing onto the steel steps in the corner before returning to her feet as Edda breathes heavily, laid out on her back.

2!

Suddenly, the invested crowd begin to boo at the top of their lungs, and it takes a few moments before we realize that none other… than Mercedes-Jane Debonair has begun to make her way down the ramp, gesturing at Ada.

3!

The champion sees nothing but red, furious at Mercy’s audacity to waltz down to the ring without a care in the world. Furious, Ada screams at Mercedes, basically tempting her to try and fight her.

Leana: “Don’t do it, Ada! Think of the bigger picture! The title’s on the line!”

4!

Hearing the ref’s count, the Karateka makes the tough decision to roll back into the ring, only to point at the mat and invite Mercedes to join her! The fans go wild as the champion yells several obscenities at Mercedes… before Stephanie LaCroix, the former Evolution Champion, sprints down the aisle and tackles Mercedes to the ground!!! The fans retreat from their seats, cheering the former champion on as she makes good on her promise to watch out for Pierce, unloading vicious strikes to the ambushed Debonair. But before long, the short-lived cheers are drowned out by more boos when Jolie Vexx, the disgraced former boss of First Class runs in and slams a steel chair across LaCroix’s spine!

Nyssa: “Boss lady!”

Leana: “She’s not the boss anymore!!! What the hell is Jolie Vexx doing here!?”

Steph lands on her knees, doing her best to fight through the pain, but Vexx slams the chair down on the former champion’s back once more, finally bringing down to the floor as Mercy crawls away from her former ally. Ada Pierce, deciding that she’s seen enough, rolls back out of the ring, resetting the referee’s count and begins to make her way up the ramp… only for Edda Wilcox, now fully recovered, to spear the champion, turning her inside out!

1!

Mercedes-Jane, now back on her feet, puts the boots to the downed Steph as Jolie Vexx joins in the disgusting two-on-one beatdown while Edda Wilcox unleashes a flurry of strikes to Ada Pierce’s skull, not realising what is happening on the ramp. All that’s on Edda’s mind is the championship and beating the Karateka for it.

2!

With Stephanie LaCroix down and out, Jolie Vexx instructs Mercedes-Jane to hold the inaugural EVO champion down. Unable to defend herself, Steph lays face-down on the ramp as Jolie Vexx begins to back away from her, looking down on LaCroix while tightening her grip over the steel chair in her hands…

3!

Ada Pierce covers up, attempting to block Edda’s strikes while Jolie Vexx looks out at the crowd as a giant smile forms across her face…

4!

The Karateka, somehow, finds an opening, elbowing Edda across the face, succeeding in forcing the challenger off of her. Seeing double and on the floor, Ada crawls to the ramp, fighting with every inch of her being to make it back up to her feet..

5!

Mercy places her boot on Steph’s spine, pressing her against the ground as Jolie finally winds back with the steel chair, preparing to slam it down on Steph’s skull as Ada Pierce cries out in desperate fury…

Leana: “No!! Don’t do it!!! Don’t do it, you psychopath!!!”

Despite the fans, the announcers and Ada Pierce herself wishing for this assault to end… Jolie smashes Steph’s skull with the steel chair… and as her arms fall to her sides, Jolie once again brings an even harder chair down into Steph's unprotected forehead, immedietely cutting it open.

Nyssa: Okay, That's...

And with a laugh, seeing her bloodied face enemy, she lifts the chair up with both hands and plants her a final, brutal time.

6!

The entire crowd gasps in unison as Steph’s body is motionless on the aisle. Ada angrily does her best to get back up to her feet and rush to Steph’s aid, but Edda Wilcox, through pure instinct, grabs hold of the champion’s ankle, refusing to let this championship opportunity slip through her fingers…

7!

More than happy with what she’s accomplished thanks to Vexx’s help, Mercedes grabs a fistful of Steph’s bloody, blonde hair, lifting her head off the floor as she maniacally cackles as the fans shower her with boos.

8!

The Karateka kicks away at Edda, succeeding in breaking her grip over her ankle before dazily rushing up the ramp, only for Mercedes and Jolie to retreat and disappear behind the curtain.

Leana: “Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting!”

Nyssa: “She needs an ambulance!”

9!

Ada, not even realizing that the referee is one count away from the match ending in a double count-out, slides in next to Steph before checking on her, begging her to wake up as she rests the former champion’s head on her knee…

Suddenly, the lights flicker before going out completely. The fans prepare for a surprising debut or return, and Nyssa and Leana aren’t sure how to sell it.

Nyssa: Someone didn’t pay the bill?? Not surprised under Solace’s leadership!

Leana: What could possibly happen tonight that hasn’t happened already!?!?

The lights never return, but a back-up generator kicks on, relighting the arena at a much dimmer setting.

Nyssa: Do you… smell something?

Leana: Like a burning right??

Nyssa: Yeah… exactly… um… hold on, Craig…

Leana: Uhm, Wow! A big win for Ada here against…

Nyssa: Okay… Yeah, no, I don’t know…

Leana: Very sorry to the viewers at home… Another big victory here for our Evo cham…

Nyssa: Okay, um, there’s a bit of a problem, oh my god…

A bit of confusion at the commentary station leaves the audience watching in a cloud of disarray as the feed to the live broadcast cuts earlier than scheduled. In the stadium, panic has taken hold of those in attendance, unsure of what to do as smoke bellows out from behind the entrance way into a thick mass of black gas rises to the top of the IIW arena.

Those who could see the flames climbing up the IIW’s screen watch the material melt into a dripping liquid as they begin to push and shove strangers around them to make an exit. In the ring, Ada Pierce has abandoned her belt in the ring to aid in evacuation but the fans make it impossible for any of the FC staff to keep things in control.

The sounds of panic and coughing fill the air as attendees run for the exits, the fire now spreading beyond the stage and catching either side of the stage’s curtains; the black smoke unable to escape the top begins to fit in the arena’s air wherever it can, lower and lower as the highest sitting fans barely escape the danger.

Edda Wilcox crawls to a still bleeding out Steph, snatching her in both arms and carefully picks her up, moving her to the ringside, proceeding to roll her under the ring where she can't be trampled by the chaotic escaping fans. Under the curtain, she rips her own shirt and wraps it around Steph's bleeding forehead to temporarily stop the bleeding.

Solace Tatum is able to get to Ada and together they try to shout over the sounds of fear. She sees Edda standing by Steph's location.

"Is she okay?!" Solace shouts.

"She's safe! She needs an ambulance!" Edda shouts.

"They are coming! Stay with her until someone can get her out of here safely!" Solace says before acknowleding Ada.

“What is happening!?” Ada screams over the mayhem to Solace.

“It’s an inf– cough cough- erno backstage! The fire department is on its way!” Solace shouts back.

“Where is everyone!” Ada tries to see through the people but only sees Denise DiMarco crawling out from the entrance way down the ramp… behind her, Alessia Capello and Robin Vengeance covering their mouths.. Suddenly, Capello looks up and behind her, turning quick to Denise and scooping her up by her arm to charge forward with Robin…. A large metal bar weakens from the weight of the burning structure and falls right where they had been standing, crashing into the metal ramp, and breaking it’s surface.

Solace reaches under the ring and finds a fire extinguisher, rushing towards the fire, but Ada grabs her arm.

“It’s too much!” Ada warns her, “It’s too late!”

“I have to try!” Solace says,

“We have to get these people out of here!” Ada tells her.

Suddenly, firefighters pull in multiple giant hoses and begin showering the burning areas relentlessly, while others begin helping those still in the arena escape. Outside, ambulances and police help make order out of the dangerous event, and those who were trampled in the mess were luckily not killed or hurt enough where they couldn’t stand up.

Solace watches the smoke collect at the top begin to funnel out through manually opened vents.

“Ma’am!” A firefighter yells at her, “You have to get out of here!”

Solace sheds a tear watching First Class burn to ashes before her, hoping that under her watch, nobody was hurt… and suddenly, her intuition sends her mind back to before the show, to the message she had received with her congratulatory flower vase… “May your success burn as the sun.” and she knew at that instance, someone had sabotaged this show, putting the lives of her roster and the First Class fans in mortal danger…
