Combat 4/21/23

The show opens as we get a shot of the FNC Entrance arena as pyro blast off for the live audience at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center in Tallahassee Florida. The combat theme ‘War Pigs’ by Black Sabbath plays as the camera scans across the audience and gets a good look at the sold out crowd. Cheering to the top of their lungs and holding up a wide array of signs cheering for their favorite Combatant before the camera finally settles on our commentary team of Alex Higgins and Arthur B. Glass.

Higgins: Ladies and Gentlemen around the world let me be the first to welcome you to our jam packed arena as we prepare for another exciting episode of Friday Night Combat! I am Alex Higgins and this is my more than capable partner Arthur B. Glass!

We see Glass give a little flourish with his hand as he takes a bow and Higgins continues.

Higgins: This is our last Combat before Riot Act and we still have a lot of things to figure out as we gear up for that show, but one thing we know for sure is that Riot Act will be the first FNC show to feature a Women’s Title defense on it!

Glass: That is correct Alex, it has been just about a month since the announcement was made at Theater of War that the IIW Women’s division became exclusive to Friday Night Combat and with it became what some may call a Women’s Revolution! As talented woman after talented woman flock to become part of what promises to be the premier place for Women’s Wrestling in the industry TODAY.

Higgins: That is why our General Manager Kalvin Dayspring has decided TONIGHT would be the perfect time to show off our incredibly deep women’s roster with what he has dubbed the WOMEN’S POWER HOUR!

Glass: Yes, the entire first half of our show will feature four women’s matches with the top of the hour being our women’s main event when top star Junko Souma takes on ONE of the FNC Women’s number one contenders in Jasmine Raye!

Women Power Hour

(featuring Beckett Marisol)

The fans live are cheering as the graphic of the women’s main event is being shown to those at home, this big announcement however is cut short as “Woman Like me” blast over the pa and the cheers from the audience turn to rabid boos. The view shifts to the entrance where we see our FNC Women’s Champion Beckett Marisol appear with the title snugly around her waist. She struts down the ramp and by passes the ring, walking around it and heading towards the commentary table where she motions for Alex Higgins to move over and takes a seat next to him, motioning for a head set.

Glass: Well it looks like Daddy has arrived and wants to grace her with her presence at the booth, Beckett let me be the first to welcome you to our little slice of Combat.

She finally gets her headset sorted and begins to speak.

Beckett: At least one of you goons have some decency and know how to treat your betters. Come on Alex don’t slouch you look homeless when you do..,

Higgins: Yes, Sorry about that..

Beckett: Sorry what?

Higgins: Sorry Daddy..

Glass: So if you don’t mind Champ, what brings you out tonight?

Beckett: I heard we were dedicating half the show to the women’s division and I am not even on the CARD!? That is terrible booking, but I mean Kalvin isn’t exactly the brightest, bless his heart.  So instead of letting you two buffoons who have never even seen a woman naked come out here and tout the greatness of our division I would come out here and do it for you. Or at least try to lead you by the nose and make sure you don’t screw things up too badly.

Glass: Well I am personally honored to share the booth with someone of your caliber. Our first match up should be of interest to you as your personal friend Shante Waverly takes on newcomer to IIW Kayla Irvine.

Beckett: Well this should be a quick one, lets go ahead and put the poor girl out of her suffering shall we?

With that the camera pans to the ring where we see the newcomer already standing, Kyla looks a bit bored as she stands in the corner and Charity begins her first announcements of the night.

Charity: Our Opening match tonight, is scheduled for one fall! First already in the ring, from Bellevue Washington, Kyla Irvine!

The fans let out a small pop for the new Combatant as Charity continues.

Charity: Her opponent for the night, representing the Nightmare Court and hailing from the briny depths she “The Lure of the Sea’ Shante’ Waverly!!!

The lights dim and switch red as Mutiny by Neoni hits over the PA, the fans begin booing as her silhouette appears in the entrance ramp.

Glass: Now Kyla may be new to the industry but she is a second generation star from the very successful ‘Irvine Dynasty’, talent and success runs through her veins so I hope your friend Shante is taking this seriously.

Beckett: Shante takes any chance to hurt people seriously, I just hope there are a few more heirs to this dynasty you’re talking about because this one may not step into another ring after tonight.

The lights in the arena go black and a few moments later they flash back on and Shante is in the ring sitting on the ropes staring into the ring at her opponent. The music fades as the ref checks both women before calling for the bell.

***Ding, Ding***

Shante doesn’t wait as she rushes at Kyla with a massive clothesline sending her hard into the corner. She then follows up with a series of forearm shots to the side of her head. After a few solid blows she takes a few steps back and taunts the fans who give off a massive chorus of boos. She shrugs them off as she charges back at her with a helluva kick that sends Kyla stumbling out and falling face first into the mat. Shante’ struts over and places her foot on the chest of Kyla for a lazy pin. As the ref gets down to count

.. Kick out!

Higgins: Look at that, blatant arrogance she didn’t even try a real pin on her. She isn’t taking her seriously at all.

Glass: I am not one to question Shante’ but she seems to be sending a message about her dominance but still she shouldn’t take Kyla lightly.

Beckett: Do you not see how in control Shante is? Honestly she is just trying to milk this to give the fans what they want, more of her.

Shante grabs the top rope and begins sending a series of boots into the downed Kyla, Shante then jerks her up by the hair of the head and attempts an irish whip. Kyla however out of nowhere reverses the move she sends Shante against the ropes but as Shante bounces back off Kyla leap frogs her and sends her to the ropes across the ring. Shante bounces back again and Kyla drops her head for a back body drop but she does it a bit too early allowing Shante a chance to see it coming and hit a tornado DDT.

Glass: Kyla showing a bit of fire as Shante takes her too lightly.

Beckett: Yea well it didn’t last long, Shante is in full control you guys need to stop doubting my girl!

Shante goes for a cover again and the ref goes to count.

..1,

.. Kick out!

Shante looks furious as she stands up and bounces off the ropes with an attempt at a running leg drop but Kyla rolls out the way causing Shante to crash hard into the mat. She sits in pain from missing the move, while Kyla gets to her feet quickly and hits a low drop kick right to the head of Shante, sending her down to the mat. Kyla then runs forward hitting a senton on her, landing on her feet and quickly running across hitting a springboard moonsault on Shante and hooking her leg for a pin.

..1,

.. Kick Out!

Beckett: COME ON! Get up SHANTE!

Higgins:  You know you’re supposed to be unbiased while at commentary and..

Beckett: Shut up Alex, these referee’s are stupid that was a totally illegal dropkick.

Kyla gets up to her feet and points to the sky as she begins to climb the top rope, she quickly perches the top and comes off with her signature Rainbow Flash (shooting star press) hitting the move to perfection as she crashes right on top of Shante and quickly hooks a leg for a pin.

..1,

..2,

… Kick Out!

By this time the fans are chanting Kyla’s name and really getting behind her. She stands up dragging up Shante to a sitting position as she prepares to lock in her finisher Adoration (dragon sleeper) as she goes to sink it; however Shante quickly kicks over her head and hits Kyla in the head causing her to lose her grip. Shante then rolls to her feet kicking Kyla in the gut she spins her around to hook her for her ‘Snap, Crackle and Cackle,” (Butterfly Suplex) but as she lifts her to send her over her head Kyla manages to break loose and land on her feet behind her. Kyla then uses her momentum to continue against the ropes and right as Shante turns to see what happened Kyla manages to come off the rope with her ‘Sparking Finale’ (springboard pele kick) hitting her hard and going for a pin. As she quickly stacks Shante up for the pin the ref doesn’t notice Kyla putting her feet on the bottom rope.

***Ding, Ding***

Charity: And your winner, by Pinfall Kyla Irvine!!

The fans seemed confused watching her cheat to get the big upset win but she doesn’t seem to care as she celebrates once her music hits.

Becket: Oh no, that is blatant favoritism! These referee’s on combat are either blind or stupid, or maybe both!

Higgins: Some may say turnabout is fair play, you and Shante’ both have been known to bend the rules when needed.

Beckett: Please, I never NEED to break rules. I am too good for all that.

Glass: I am getting word from the back, apparently we have an Arrival? Let’s see what is going on!

Guest of Honor

(featuring Andre Cash)

The scene cuts to outside the venue where we see a large armored truck pull up. It comes to a slow stop as two armed guards emerge from the front of the vehicle they make their way around to the back and slowly open it up.

Higgins: What is all this?

Beckett: Looks like someone is just getting out of lock up.

Glass: Yea but why would they be here?

As the door is opened from the shadows emerging none other than Andre Cash, he has on a nice suit and a smug look but his hands are in restraints  The two guards are joined by two more as they begin to ‘escort’ him into the building.

Glass: Well that explains it, looks like Dayspring isn’t taking any chances before the actual match tonight.

Higgins: The loose cannon has arrived and appears he is being kept under lock and until the main event. That is something I never thought I would see but it should make everyone feel a bit safer.

Beckett: Eh, I could take him. I am the champ after all.

Glass: well it’s time for our next match and it should be a good one as Aaliyah Landerson gets ready to face new comer Melissa Thornton!

Vengo Por Ti hit’s she walks out on stage wearing a pink and black stripes with a hoodie and down on one knee and prays. she gets up and points to the Fans in Pyro fireworks burst open and switch to the other side of the stage in does the same thing in after she was done she slowly walks down the ramp in slaps some little kids high fives and she smooches in the kids and stares at the kid in hands her fake Luchdor Mask to her and heads straight towards the ring and hops on the turnbuckle and pose both fingers in mid air and walks to the other side turnbuckle in does the same thing mid finger in the air in he gets down and wait for her Opponent arrive.

Higgins: Here comes Aaliyah Landerson, ladies and gentlemen!

Glass: Looking like the fighting girl that she always is and always with a smile on her face too.

Marisol: Oh damn it, give it a rest both of these women suck. The only thing that makes this match interesting is the fact that it is Melissa Thornton’s debut match and those are always good I suppose.

Higgins: Spoken like a true champ.

“Face the fire” by Shangrii-La hits and we see Melissa make her way to the ring.

***Ding, Ding***

The bell dings as we see the two women circle one another. Aaliyah gets the upper advantage as irish whips Thornton against the ropes but Thornton counters as she comes back and hits Aaliyah with a spinning backfist.

Higgins: Dang.

Glass: Making that girl eat that fist.

The two women are seen once again as we see Thornton pick Aaliyah up and it looks as if she is about to go for a scoop slam when we see Aaliyah slide down Thornton’s back and catch Thornton with an elbow to the back of the head as Aaliyah stays on her feet and attempts a spinning heel kick but Thornton catches Aaliyah’s foot and then follows up with a clothesline, sending Aaliyah down to the mat.

Marisol: Geez someone wake me up when this match gets interesting.

Higgins: Hey you might be over here doing commentary but stop insulting the talent.

Glass: Yeah or how else will I keep my job.

Thornton has now put Aaliyah in the corner and catches her with a punch as the crowd starts to count. Thornton stops at a count of five and sends a fierce uppercut into Aaliyah’s face.

Higgins: Ouch!

Glass: That’s not very friendly at all.

Marisol: I would have did it better but at least Aaliyah seems to know how to mount some defense now.

She laughs as we see that Aaliyah has managed to put Thornton into an arm wrench inside cradle. She goes for the pin but barely gets a one count before Thornton kicks out. Aaliyah tries to continue up her offense that she has built by attempting to catch Thornton with a corner slingshot suplex but to no avail. Thornton has caught Aaliyah up and pushes Aaliyah into the ropes and hits her with Orange City Dreams! as the crowd erupts.

Higgins: What a beautiful kick.

Glass: Come on Aaliyah get up.

Marisol: Or stay down so we can move onto a more important match. People do not and never will like you Aaliyah, you have absolutely no IT factor.

Higgins: Daddy Marisol please.

The view goes back to the action in the ring and Thornton goes for a count but only get a one and a half before we see Aaliyah kick out.

Higgins: I thought Aaliyah was out for sure.

Glass: Well you know what they say, never judge a book by it’s cover. Just because it looked like she was cooked and done does not mean that she is, at all.

Aaliyah looks a bit shaken up as she goes straight after Thornton with a run and hits a running bulldog as she grabs Thornton’s leg in a pin attempt as she gets a two and the crowd starts a chant of “this is awesome.”

Marisol: This crowd clearly knows nothing.

Higgins: I beg to differ.

Glass: I actually agree with Daddy Marisol. You know it’s the women’s power hour so we need all the women to showcase what it is that makes them superior and that is why they are on Combat in the first place!

These two women have given it all that they have and the match is not over yet. The crowd still seems to be behind both women and we pan back up once again and we see that Aaliyah is still in control as she has Thornton in an arm bar stretch but the fight within Thornton is strong as we see her snap mare Landerson out of the hold and quickly follow up with vicious elbow strikes as Thornton is able to get away and against the ropes, as we see Aaliyah trying to gather herself but not before Thornton is able to bounce off the ropes and execute High Voltage as the crowd erupts with joy!

Thornton goes for the pin.

Charity: Your winner, Melissa Thornton!

Free Again?!

(featuring Florida Man)

The scene changes over to the inside of a busy police department on a Friday evening. Behind the counter sits Arby Dillon with cuffs on his hands. He hasn’t stopped tapping his foot on floor the entire time and his head keeps swaying everything a door opens.

Arby: C’mon! I need to get outta here!

Another cuffed guy: Yeah, me too!

A police officer approaches Arby.

Officer: Dillon?

Arby: Yes, that’s me. Finally! I’ve got somewhere important to be?

Officer: Oh yeah? Where’s that?

Arby: I’m making my IIW debut tonight down at the Civic Center!

Officer: Alright well we’re gonna need you to find out some release forms.

Arby: Aw come on, just pull up last week’s file. Ain’t nothing changed since then!

The officer uncuffs Arby.

Officer: Arby… I’m sure there’s a story behind that name.

Arby: Yeah well my daddy named me Arby. His name is Rob… oh I ain’t got time for this. I gotta get to Combat!

The scene changes to Arby now free walking down the street in a hurry.

Arby: Oh God damn it I’m going to miss my match!

Arby wanders into a parking lot and passes a sign that reads “POLICE BAIT CAR MAY BE IN USE” He starts running to pick up the pace when he notices a car with the driver’s side door wide open. He paces back to get a second look and notices the keys are in the ignition.

Arby: Well I’ll be damned! Manna from Heaven!

Arby jumps into the car and turns the ignition and is instantly rolled up on by a police car. Without a split second of hesitation, Arby is already taking off on foot.

Miracle Galaxy Pro

The view returns to ringside with our now three person commentary team of Alex Higgins, Arthur Glass and special guest the FNC Women’s Champion Beckett Marisol.

Higgins: If he is supposed to be here he is already late. Do we have a Arby on the card anywhere?

Glass: Maybe in Catering but I think we do much better than that, well maybe not in Florida… still back to the people who actually make it here. Coming up in just about 9 days all the way in Japan you Beckett will be defending your title against our very own Latoya Hixx at the MGP All Belts Spectacular.

The image to promote the show pops up on the screen as the three continue to talk.

Beckett: Japan is great, everyone over there worships me as they should but this match is a joke honestly. Latoya Hixx has no chance at taking my title and it feels more like a way to try to soften me up for Jasmine Raye who is very obviously sleeping with Kalvin Dayspring.

Higgins: Wow, those are some serious accusations why would you say such things?

Beckett: I mean why else would he bring her to Combat?

Higgins: In ring talent, fan appeal, depth to the roster.

Beckett: Yea she has none of that.

Higgins: I guess we can just agree to disagree then.

Beckett: Or we agree your wrong, either way it’s simple MGP is another great promotion that is being held together by my star power and that match will be over before the jet lag wears off.

Glass: Well now that we have that settled we should prolly move on with the card, our next match in the women’s power hour should be a great one.

The view switches to the entrance ramp as Prisoner by Miley Cyrus (ft. Dua Lipa) hits and we see Eden Youngblood make her way to the ring.

Higgins: This match should be good. Eden is a decent wrestler and this is a good debut match for Chloe Morrison as well.

Marisol : Who cares? Neither one of these women have what it takes to go up against me which by default makes them weak and it also means that this match means nothing but good luck to both women.

Glass: And that ladies and gentlemen is why this is the women’s power hour. Even if not every woman thinks that someone should be a threat sometimes they are.

The opening to “Whisper” begins to play over the PA system, as the IIWTron begins to show a winter type of setting, within what appears to be an empty and isolated tundra. The sound of snow whirling through the air is heard as it occurs on the screen, before changing to reveal a singular person standing alone. Dressed in a white and Lavender vest, white wrestling tights and black boots. Just as Chloe appears atop the stage, wearing the same attire, alongside a pair of sunglasses. Bowing her head, she curls her hands into a fist and slaps her chest thrice before raising her head as soon as the lyrics commence and slowly pulling her sunglasses off. Placing them into her vest’s pocket.

Walking down the ramp, she smiles, focused her opponent as the Tron showcases some of her highlights from her career. At the top of the ramp, she drops down to her knees, extending her arms out to embrace the adulation of the crowd before taking off her vest, revealing that she is wearing a white/lavender sports bra. Handing the vest to a ring crew member, she slides into the ring where she does a forward roll into the arms extended pose, this time on one knee. Standing once more, she walks over to the turnbuckle, jumping atop it and scanning through the crowd before jumping down and preparing for the match as the music ends.

Marisol : Wow, have you seen anyone take up so much time playing around to these lousy fans? It makes me want to throw up in my mouth.

***Ding, Ding***

The bell rings as we see the two ladies begin to circle one another. Eden locks up with Chloe and gets the advantage as she turns around and puts Chloe into a headlock and forces her up against the ropes and then turns and hits her with a punch to the gut. We see Chloe bend over and Eden tries to take advantage but Chloe catches Eden with a punch to the face all of her own, which sends Eden railing back into the corner out of pure surprise.

Glass: Damn these two are really going at it, I can not say that I am surprised.

Higgins: Well this is a debut match on Combat for Morrison and she seems like she is out to prove herself.

Morrison takes the time to kick Eden in her midsection which sends Eden down and Chloe begins to unleash a furry of kick attacks right into Eden’s side as the crowd starts to cheer. Just as the crowd cheers Morrison takes a minute to turn around and Eden takes advantage by grabbing Morrison from behind and picking her up and delivering a devastating powerbomb which sends Morrison down to the mat.

Eden takes a minute and smiles as she picks Morrison up and easily throws her across the ring as the crowd begins to boo.

Marisol: Damn boys it looks like Eden is looking to make quick work of Chloe. That is how a true heel works something that I am sure that you guys do not understand at all.

Higgins: What in the hell does that mean? We call these matches every Combat, you are just a guest star.

Glass: The greatest guest star of course, but back to the action.

Eden has followed up with a roundhouse kick followed by a clothesline to Morrison. Eden is looking just like the powerhouse that she is to say the least. Morrison looks like she is a bit dazed in the middle of the ring as she gets to her feet and shakes the cobwebs out of her head. She seemingly has had enough of Eden thinking that she can take advantage of her even though she is new her on Combat at least.

Morrison has Eden in her sights as she kicks Eden in her chest sending Eden down to the ground and Morrison hits the Sanguine Song as Eden as she is building momentum now. The crowd quickly rallies around to the aid of Morrison and never seem to have any love for Eden.

Marisol: I love this crowd.

Morrison then picks Eden up and delivers the Divine Curse and goes for the cover.

***Ding, Ding***

Higgins: Morrison has done it, she defeats Eden in her debut match here on Combat.

Glass: What a wonderful job

Marisol: Boo! She’s still a loser.

Charity: Your winner of the match, Chloe Morrison!

Higgins: Well she is a talented star who might just be coming for you soon so you should be taking notes.

Glass: Speaking of women gunning for you we got a little video that you might want to pay special attention to.

Propa’ Reminder

(featuring Aria Knight)

With those words a video package begins to play.

Tokyo, Japan.

Aria Knight stands in a white, empty room. The bright hue is almost blinding to the eye, it’s so bright.

Aria Knight: Friday Night Combat, I know you grow impatient, yeah? Wonderin’ when The Propa’ Villainess is comin’.

She wears a black t-shirt with her Gaijin Assault Army faction’s logo splattered across the chest in bright yellow. Around her waist is the recently-won KCW Television Championship.

Aria Knight: Oldham’s own is steppin’ foot in IIW soon. Don’t worry. I just have a li’l business to still tend to elsewhere.

A blue stripe runs from her eyebrow to the middle of her cheek with her eye splitting it.

Aria Knight: And when I arrive, I’ll have my sights set on Beckett Marisol. She has somethin’ I want.

She smirks.

Aria Knight: So consida’ this a warnin’ shot to all o’ the women on Friday Night Combat. Time’s runnin’ out. Your nightmare is soon to come true.

‘ THE PROPER VILLAINESS ‘ ARIA KNIGHT
COMING SOON.

As the video package finishes we head to the ring where Charity is waiting for ring announcements.

Charity: Our next match is a singles match scheduled for one fall! And it is the MAIN EVENT for the FNC Women’s Power Hour! First coming to the ring from Koto City Japan! Standing 5 foot 10 Junko Souma!

As she announces the name the fans begin to chant J N K, and go crazy when ‘Evolution’ blast over the PA and Junko appears at the entrance ramp. She gives some high fives as she makes her way down to the ring.

Glass: Junko is an incredible talent that we are lucky to have in our ring on Friday Nights!

Beckett: She is one of the most talented women wrestlers in the industry today, she’s just not me.

Charity: And her opponent for the evening and currently NUMBER ONE CONTENDER to the FNC Women’s Championship Jasmine Raye!!

“Redeemer’ blast over the PA as the fans continue to cheer to the top of their lungs. You can hear Beckett Sigh.

Beckett: So sick of this one, can’t wait until I put her down like the sick dog she is. I mean then I can put both these women in the rear view as I continue to dominate.

Higgins: You shouldn’t look past Jasmine she is one of the best.

Beckett: But I AM the best.

The view switches back to the ring as the ref signals for the bell to begin the match.

***Ding, Ding***

The two ladies circle the ring a few minutes before they move towards each other for a lock up, as they do however Jasmine has a quick change of heart and sends a stiff kick to the gut of junko causing her to bend over. Jasmine then goes for the irish whip but Junko is able to reverse it, but instead of sending Jasmine into the far ropes Junko holds on to her arm and starts sending a few stiff kicks into the body then head of Jasmine.  The kick to the head staggers Jasmine a bit and Junko goes to lift her on her shoulders, she looks to be going for a go to sleep or something similar but Jasmine is able to flip off of her shoulders and land on her feet. Jasmine then quickly catches Junko off guard and hits a Russian leg sweep, she floats over and goes for a quick pin.

.. Kick out!

Jasmine sits up for a minute in frustration after the kick out and Junko quickly takes that chance to grab her arms and roll her up with a crucifix pin attempt.

..1,

.. Kick out.

As she kicks out the two women roll in different directions, staring at each other as they come to their feet.

Higgins: These two ladies start out full blast here tonight in our Women Power Hour Main Event! This whole hour of television is designed to showcase our incredibly talented and ever growing women’s division. Since you are the Champion Beckett how have you felt seeing all these great matches.

Beckett: Underwhelmed honestly Alex. Still I am sure most of the world is impressed and rightfully so, I mean all these women are talented in their own rights. They just aren’t Daddy.

Glass: These two women particular you should have interest in, Junko was your first title defense for the Women’s title which was actually with our partners in Japan Miracle Galaxy Pro and Jasmine MAY be your next opponent in two weeks at Riot Act, that is of course if you beat Latoya Hixx in a little over a week.

As they discuss the women’s division the action in the ring continues to heat up. Jasmine charges at Junko who is able to catch her with an arm drag, both women pop up and Junko goes to follow up her attack with an attempt at ‘Domo Arigato, Mister Lariato’ (running lariat) but Jasmine rolls to the ground ducking the move, Jasmine then hits a handstand grabbing Junko by the head and flipping her over sending Junko through the middle ropes and to the outside of the ring. Jasmine screams to get the crowd behind her as she springs to her feet and bounces off the ropes for a suicide dive attempt but as she goes to dive through the middle ropes Junko is ready for her and sends a hard forearm right to her head haltering her momentum. As Jasmine staggers backwards a bit Junko climbs back in the ring and stalks her, sending a series of hard european uppercuts at Jasmine.

Beckett: MAYBE?! Glass come on, Latoya Hixx is low rent, she doesn’t truly deserve this title shot. It’s really just a travesty that I have to fight BOTH these losers so close together, it’s like they want me to lose. I mean it’s not happening but still I can smell the conspiracy.

Higgins: Well I don’t know about that but I do know Junko is slowing down this match a bit and really starting to take it to Jasmine, any damage she is able to do to Jasmine has to be a positive for you right?

Glass: Are you suggesting that the Champ here NEEDS help to beat Jasmine, I mean Jasmine is a gorgeous lady and very talented but this is Daddy we are talking about.

Beckett: See thats why I always liked you best ABG, that and you don’t smell like mothballs like Alex does.

Junko twists the arm of Jasmine before sending a stiff kick to her face, she then uses the arm to slam Jasmine down to the mat. As she continues to hold onto the arm she raises in the air and sends both her knees into the elbow of Jasmine. She then quickly goes for another pin.

..1,

.. Kick Out!

Junko drags her up by the hair of her head as she goes to irish whip her Jasmine however reverses the irish whip, as Junko bounces off the ropes Jasmine attempts a lariat but Junko dodges it and runs for the other ropes. Junko manages to grab onto the ropes and stop herself, Jasmine is ready though and charges at her hitting a drop kick that sends Junko over the top rope and to the ground. Jasmine then quickly springboards over the top and to the outside landing on Junko.

Beckett: Well looks like she at least hit her target this time, but doesn’t she know she needs to be in the ring to win this match?

Glass: See that’s why you’re the champ, deep insight like that.

Jasmine hits a few stiff kicks to Junko then climbs up on the apron as she runs with an attempt at a senton Junko moves out of the way and she crashes hard into the mat outside the ring. Junko quickly takes advantage of the situation by hitting the “J-POP Coaster” (sunset flip bomb) on the hard floor outside. She then quickly grabs Jasmine and rolls her in the ring, she then quickly goes for the cover once in the ring.

..1,

..2,

.. Kick out!

Higgins: That was close, it really shows the drive that Jasmine has to kick out after a move like that.

Glass: You almost have to think if that was in the ring the match would be over now, but the time it took to get her up and into the ring was just enough recovery for the kick out.

Junko looks annoyed as she slams her hand into the mat and points to the sky the fans go crazy, she goes to climb to the top as she gets ready for her finisher ‘Chocobo Sunrise’ (moonsault) as she comes off however Jasmine is able to move out of the way and hit the mat hard face first. Jasmine pulling herself to her feet stalks Junko, as Junko staggers up Jasmine charges forward with ‘Dusted’ (Claymore Kick) hitting Junko hard you can see the energy coming back to Jasmine as the fans get behind her. She signals for the end and begins to lock Junko into a “Throne of Ra’ (Lotus Lock Submission) and you can see the pain in Junko’s face.

Higgins: This might be it, that submission is a dangerous one that if Junko doesn’t type it could knock her out.

Beckett: Yeah, well you know I think I need to get a closer look at this.

Beckett takes off her head set and gets up to walk towards the ring.

Higgins: This isn’t good..

Glass: Come on Alex, she’s a professional I am sure she just wants to get a look at this move for her match coming up!

As the ref is checking in on Junko, Beckett circles the ring and grabs the title and slams it into the head of Jasmine while the ref can’t see. This seems to knock out Jasmine and she releases the hold, The ref seems confused but Beckett is far enough away that nothing can be proved. Junko, still in pain, doesn’t seem to realize what happened as she gets up and looks confused as she goes for the cover.

..1,

..2,

… Kick OUT!!

Higgins: WHAT THE HELL, that is a tough woman I can’t believe she kicked out after that belt shot!

Glass: That is why she is the number one contender, still she is in rough shape after that shot by the Champ.

Junko grabs Jasmine and pulls her to her feet but somehow Jasmine begins to fight back, sending a series of stiff elbows into the head of Junko, Jasmine has a bit of control now and goes to hit an Irish whip but Junko reverses it again and instead of sending her against the ropes she holds on sending a stiff kick into the gut and hits a “JNK Driver”  (Ki Crusher 99) and quickly goes for a pin.

.1,

..2,

…3!!

***Ding, Ding***

Charity: Your winner by pin fall, Junko Souma!!

Higgins: Well it seems that will wrap up our Women’s Power Hour and Beckett seems to have made her exit as well, still seems like at least one more woman has something to say to the back

Double or Nothing

(featuring Shante Waverly, Kyla Irvine)

The Camera switches to the back where we see Shante’ Waverly pacing back and fourth in front of backstage interviewer Ally Anderson.

Ally: So Shante you ask…

Shante grabs the mic from Ally as she speaks.

Shante: Shut up, your not needed. I only have ONE thing to say, and that is too the luckiest women in the FNC locker room! You know who you are Kyla Irvine, you got lucky tonight! So why don’t you ante up and try again. On Riot Act in two weeks see if you can do it again, me versus you and I WILL SHOW YOU what it is really like to be in the ring with a monster. No more kids stuff, bring it Rookie!

She tosses the mic down and storms off the camera as the view switches back to the ring.

Byrd’s Eye View

(featuring Crush, PG-13)

The scene comes back to the ring as Jason Byrd is inside the ring. There is a dimly lit spotlight shining on the ring as Jason Byrd stands there with a microphone in hand as the crowd listens to what he has to say.

Jason Byrd: Welcome to another edition of Byrd’s Eye View and boy do I have a SPECIAL Guest this week. He is the brand NEW Friday Night Combat Global Heavyweight Champion. He is The Beast. Please welcome, P-G-13!

As he says that # HERO # hits the arena and the fans boo as the Friday Night Combat Global Champion, PG-13 makes his way out to a chorus of boos along with his manager Michael Hill… PG-13 holds his Global Title. PG-13 and Hill make their way down to the ring as PG-13 jaws with a few fans along the way. He stops and grabs a mic as the crowd quietens down.

Jason Byrd: PG-13..Welcome to Byrd’s Eye View.. I was just gonna ask you about an opponent for Riot Act…

|:-: | “FNC Global Champion”” PG-13 |:-: | Shut up Jason…I don’t care about the name of your talk show.. I just came out here to address my brother.. AARON! I know after what has happened on X Rated and Combat recently that you think you’ve got the upperhand to receive a Title shot at Riot Act. NEWSFLASH Brother! It ain’t happenin. I won this Title by defeating You and Caleb Scott. I don’t have anything left to prove to you or anybody else in this damn company. So, therefore, I’m taking Riot Act off. I don’t give a shit who you face at that show…

The crowd boos as PG-13 looks up and # KINGDOM # hits and the crowd erupts..CRUSH comes walking out along with Jessica Huttman. Crush smirks as he looks at his brother before holding up his ECE World Championship. Crush continues down the ramp as PG-13 looks furious. Crush climbs in to the ring as he gets face to face with PG-13.

|:-: | “FNC Global Champion ” PG-13|:-: | Well..Look whos here..My brot–

Crush cuts PG-13 off, he holds a microphone and begins to speak

|:-: | “ECE World Champion” Crush |:-: |Shut Up! I have had just about enough of this bullshit.

|:-: | “FNC Global Champion” PG-13|:-: | Well brother you better get used to it. This isn’t ECE. This is my show. I run things around here

|:-: | “ECE World Champion” Crush |:-: | I don’t give a damn. You know as well as I do that you cannot beat me one on one Mike. If The Enterprise is not in your corner, you can’t handle it! You’ve proven that time and again and one way or another, I’m getting that Global Championship.

|:-: | “FNC Global Champion” PG-13 |:-: | I WON this Global Title without The Enterprise and I will keep it without the Enterprise. NOBODY here is on my level. Especially you. I’ve already told you that I’m done with you. You will NEVER get another shot as long as I am Champion…Unless you give me what I want, Aaron. You know what, I’ll give you a shot at this Title at Riot Act.. On one condition.

|:-: | “ECE World Champion” Crush |:-: | And what’s that, Mike? What would it take for me to be able to whoop your ass one more time?

|:-: | “FNC Global Champion” PG-13|:-: | It’s your funeral but IF you want a shot at MY Global Title at Riot Act, I need incentive and my main incentive. My MAIN Purpose in this crazy world of professional wrestling, is to take EVERYTHING from you. And there’s one thing that you have that I want and you know what it is. You put that bullshit stipulation saying I could never challenge for the ECE World Title again. Give me what I want. Put your money where your mouth is and put that ECE WORLD TITLE on the line. Title for Title… Winner Take All. No more rematches. No more bullshit. Just You and Me once and for all.

|:-: | “ECE World Champion” Crush |:-: | So, let me get this straight.. In order to get a shot at that Global Championship at Riot Act, all I gotta do is lift the stipulation banning you from getting another ECE Title shot? Well brother. I kinda figured that’s what you wanted. So, I got off the phone with Ervin before I came out here and since contractually, I’m the only one who can lift that stipulation, I’ll give you what you want. You and Me at Riot Act. FNC Global Champion vs ECE World Champion. Winner Take ALL. And at Riot Act, I will put you down for good. In my hometown. You remember what happened the last time we were in Atlanta right? I put you DOWN at Hell in a Cell!

|:-: | “FNC Global Champion” PG-13|:-: | You wouldn’t have won shit if Axel Shaw knew what the hell he was doing. Just remember one thing, Aaron. The LAST Time we met in an IIW ring for that ECE Title, I was the one who walked out with the Title. And at Riot Act, history will repeat itself in grand fashion when I FINISH what I started when I broke your neck three years ago.

PG-13 begins to look pissed off when suddenly Crush nails him with a right hand! Crush removes his leather jacket and continues beating up PG-13! Crush runs the ropes and goes for The Bone Crusher but PG-13 picks him up in one motion and DROPS him with a Revelation!

Glass: What a move!

Higgins: We have our main event for Riot Act and the Global Champion just laid out the ECE Champion! Will the city of Atlanta even be able to contain these two men?

Glass: Well I am not sure about those two but one man who is on the rise here on FNC is none other than Xavier Lux, who made a hell of a statement last week when he attacked Tex Attwater after their one on one bout.

Higgins: That he did, he is up next against another FNC Veteran Ryan McCann you do have to ask yourself is that attack something the Nightmare Court is going to let slide?

Glass: Letting things slide typically isn’t the Court’s MO so we will just have to see when they decide to deliver their verdict on the faith of Xavier Lux but right now we get to see if he can keep his momentum going lets get to the ring!

The view switches to the ring where we see Ryan McCann already inside and Charity Langston smiles as she begins her announcements.

Charity: The next bout is one fall! First already in the ring, one Half of Pretty Technical Ryan McCann!!

The fans give out a small boo as he talks trash to a few people ring side and she continues.

Charity: And his opponent for the match, from Los Angeles California he is Xavier Lux!!

The lights in the building start to flicker, matching the opening riffs and drums of Disturbed’s ‘The Infection’ which startles the crowd because of the song’s fast start. They get to their feet just as brief pyro explosion goes off in the entrance and as lyrics of the song begin, “Venom” Xavier Lux steps out from behind the smoke left by the pyro. He stands there sporting his finest black and green gear and a black CCPE T-shirt. He looks around at the crowd who give him a mix reaction, not knowing much of the “Man with Venom in his Veins”. He makes his way down the ramp, keeping his focus on the ring. Once he gets to ringside, he hops on the apron, wiping his boots, showing respect to the canvas where he is about to practice his craft. He then gets inside and makes his way to the corner, climbs to the second turnbuckle and again just looks around at the crowd who is still lukewarm on him. He takes off his CCPE T-shirt, and acknowledges a fan here and there before picking one whom he tosses the t-shirt too. Well that mark is now a fan, maybe Xavier is not that bad after all? The fan celebrates but fights off other fans who try to snatch the shirt away. He hops down as his music fades, the ref checks him and then gets ready for the match to start.

Higgins: This should be a good match, Ryan McCann has a lot of experience in the ring and he may be able to slow the momentum of the red hot Xavier Lux.

As the ref is checking Xavier, McCann uses the opening to blind side the man. Sending a series of forearms into his back and dropping him down to his knees as the ref moves out the way and signals for the bell.

***Ding, Ding***

Glass: Well the match is officially underway and it’s this mean streak, this ring intelligence that makes McCann a dangerous opponent.

McCann goes to lift him to his feet and Irish whip him but Lux quickly reverses the move and sends him hard into the Corner as he staggers out Lux hits “The Toxin” on him dazing him completely then without hesitation he administers “The Cure” (DVD) on McCann and what appears to knock him out cold.

Higgins: What the hell!? That was quick, this could be it.

Glass: It should be it! I guess all the intelligence in the world doesn’t protect you from a perfect drop kick.

Lux however doesn’t even attempt to pin him, instead he stands over McCann and begins to send a series of close fist punches into his head, after a few the ref warns him. He stops punching him but still over him begins to shout at him, his words not audible but his body language says it all. Angry, Threatening, he is out to make a statement. He picks McCann who is almost dead weight still up off the mat and tosses him back into the corner. He points to the sky as McCann hits hard in the corner, you can hear the fans boo as Xavier continues this assault.

Higgins: Ok its apparent this match is over what is he doing?!

Glass: It’s not over until the bell is rung and it would seem that Lux wants to use all the time he has in the ring to make a statement to the locker room.

Lux lifts McCann to the top turnbuckle and sits him up hitting a the top rope “The Cure” (DVD) onto McCann and you can see his body fold with the impact. A sick smile comes across Lux face as he takes a few minutes looking at the booing fans before attempting a lack luster pin.

Higgins: Finally he decided to end this.

.1,

..2,

… WHAT?! Lux lifts the body of McCann off the mat breaking up the cover and forcing the match to continue.

Glass: Ok this is a bit much, he is playing with McCann at this point he could really hurt him in there.

Higgins: This guy is sick, we need to stop this.

Once again Xavier Lux lifts the motionless body of McCann up and tosses him in the corner pointing to the sky once again. This time however the ref goes to the corner and checks on McCann stopping Lux from attack he calls for the bell.

***Ding Ding***

Charity: Your winner, by referee stoppage Xavier Lux!!

Checks and Balances

(featuring The Nightmare Court, Xavier Lux)

The camera get a close up of the sick smile on Lux face as his music hits to celebrate then out of no where the music cuts and everything goes black.

Higgins: What the hell…

Glass: Oh I think you know, I can hear something its not good for Lux.

Higgins: I hate to say it but maybe he deserves it.

After a few seconds the lights flash back on and we see Lux down on the ground in the ring with him is the entirety of the Nightmare Court, Tyde, Tex, Shante, Sebastian, Benjamin and Edward Hamilton. Tex has a chair in his hand and Tyde seems to be directing traffic as he motions for Benjamin and Edward to grab a table.

Glass: It looks like Lux isn’t the only one with Malice on his mind and there is a lot more of them to dish out the damage.

Higgins: After that vicious assault on McCann will anyone even come out to try to help him?!

The table is brought in and Tex lifts up the unconscious body of Lux hitting his finisher ‘High Noon’ (running dominator) on to Lux through the table. They aren’t done however as they lay a chair out and the Hamilton Establishment hold him in position as Tyde bounces off the rope hitting his signature “Walk the Plank’ (Curb Stomp) onto Lux sending his face hard into the chair. You can see the blood gush from his forehead. Tyde smiles as he he nods at the rest of the court and you can hear him shout

“AGAIN”

The fans are confused too, a mixture of boos and cheers come from them as they watch this vicious attack. As the Court holds Lux in position for a Second “Walk the Plank” at this point it seems the attack is over as Tyde motions for a mic.

Tyde: The Jury has deliberated, you have been found guilty Xavier Lux and now the sentence has been carried out. Any further incidents will result in complete extermination..

Tyde tosses the mic the body of Lux and the lights once again goes black when they return only the bloody body of Lux remains in the ring as the medical staff begins to attend to him the scene switches..

On the Run

(featuring Florida Man)

“March of the Swivel heads” by The English Beat starts to play as the scene opens up to a city bus stopped at a stop light. The top hatch of the bus opens up and down falls Arby Dillon. He lands on all fours like a cat and runs up the bus aisle.

Arby: Open the door! Now!

The bus driver opens the door and Arby runs out into traffic. He darts in the middle of the intersection, causing cars to slam on their brakes. One car fishtails into a truck carrying delicious Florida oranges, spilling the entire contents throughout the street. Arby picks up an orange and takes a big bite as he continues his run.

Police officer: There he is!

A group of police officers start sprinting towards Arby but they each trip on the oranges and fly backwards through the air. Arby laughs and turns the corner and is stopped dead in his tracks by another group of oncoming officers.

Arby: Aw shit… think Arby… think.

Arby notices a manhole cover below his feet. He pulls it open with all his mighty Arby might and jumps in. The officers all stop and converge around the opening and decide that they’re not going down there.

The Number Two

(featuring Caleb Scott)

The camera cuts on to show a concrete room. Nothing else is in the room besides a single light bulb swinging from the center of the ceiling in the 8′ x 8′ room. Moisture has formed on the concrete and beads of water run down the walls. But something else adorns the walls of this concrete cage. Spray painted all over the walls, ceiling and floor is a single number. 2. Black, red and white 2’s cover the entire room, looking like someone has been obsessively and frantically planting the number on every inch of the room. A spray paint can then lands on the floor in front of the camera, being thrown from behind it. Caleb Scott then walks from out of the camera’s view to stand in front of and face the camera.

“Two. Ever since Sean Raines made the mistake of attacking me and emblazoned that single number on me, it has taken over my thoughts.”

The swinging light bulb illuminates then darkens Caleb’s face as he speaks.

“In numerology it’s known as the peacemaker. Gentle and forgiving. Clearly that isn’t the context you have intended because your actions have sparked a war and I am not the forgiving type as you will soon learn. In the spiritual world, it symbolizes teamwork and partnership. Again, I know that is not your intention.”

Caleb begins to pace back and forth, gazing at the twos all over the wall as the light bulb continues to sway back and forth.

“The number two is the basis for duality. A good and evil version inside everyone. But I only have one side of it and it’s a side that will send you plummeting to the depths of your own personal hell. You have decided to stick around Combat after taking care of Tolly. Which is fine, but you came after the wrong person and now you will pay for your actions. Perhaps the two was meant to signify me as your second victim after you took care of Tolly. I’m afraid that list will be a short one though. You can cross out Tolly but that’s where your list will end.”

Caleb reaches up and grabs the light bulb, finally stopping it from swinging around. Smoke begins to roll off Caleb’s hand as the hot bulb begins to burn his hand. However, Caleb continues to stare into the camera without flinching.

“If a war is what you want. Then I’m happy to oblige. I’ll be seeing you.”

Caleb then, with all he has, swings the bulb forward up into the ceiling. The bulb bursts and sends the room into darkness as the camera cuts its feed.

The List

(featuring Sean Raines)

Higgins: So the Former Champ seems to be ready for War with Sean Raines that still doesn’t answer what his status with the Nightmare Court is?

Glass: Well…

Fire it up begins to blast over the house speakers. The crowd starts to echo with energy as Sean Raines steps out onto the arena stage. Raines looks around at the crowd before stopping at the very edge of the ramp. Lifting one arm straight in the air, the crowd goes crazy and Sean starts his decent down to the ring.

Reaching ringside, Raines doesn’t waste any time grabbing a mic and climbing up onto the apron before stepping through the ropes into the ring. Taking no time to play to the crowd Raines starts right in on the mic.

Raines: “Well fuck. We have all heard the whispers. The rumors rolling around the locker room. I, for some reason, am one of the most talked about members of the Friday Night Combat roster. But why? It is pretty simple. Because everywhere Sean Raines goes, people tend to get hurt. The topic everyone can’t stop talking about, well that would be Ol’ Sean Raines and his hit list. How did the list come to be? What exactly is the selection process? Who is safe? Who isn’t? Well how about we try and clear this little thing up right now!”

The crowd erupts once again

Raines: “A few months ago when I first stepped foot inside the arena of a FNC show, I came here for one reason. To kick John Tolly’s ass. At this point you are all aware as to what exactly was going on there. How Tolly became number one on the list….but for those that don’t. Just over a year ago I showed up in IIW. Brought back for a specific person, joining a fight on the side of a trusted acquaintance. After a little while I started to develop that old fire. My blood started to run cold as ice, the want to fight once again showing up years after I stepped out of the ring so many years ago. But eventually, like I always do, some time away from IIW and traveling with other ventures was necessary. It wouldn’t take long for me to realize that I needed to close an issue I had with John Tolly. And I set forth to do just that, and only a month ago….I did exactly that. Now that that is done, it is time to move on. I took a couple of days and started to think to myself….maybe I am not done. Maybe, there is more that needs to be done.”

Raines turns in the ring, moving towards the ropes to his left and leaning with both forearms against them.

Raines: “But why Sean? Why was Caleb Scott marked as number three? Well for those thinking that is had anything to do with John Tolly. For those that think it has any similarity to the rest of the list, you are sadly mistaken. Coming upon the end of my time over on IIW Mayhem, I watched this new guy show up. He walked around the locker room like he actually belonged. Like he actually deserved to be there. A nobody new guy, with nothing as credit to his name. He seemed to have potential, I thought that maybe he could actually fight. With a name like the Granite City Stalker…or whatever it is, you should be one of the toughest sons of bitches out here. So I started to follow what you were doing, and then you jumped over to Friday Night Combat. But it all worked out, I was keeping an eye on Tolly, and seeing what was going on around here only helped me plan my return to the ring. This is where we really started to run into problems Caleb.”

Taking only a few short breathes before picking up the mic again and continuing.

Raines: “Phoenix, Kincaid, Cash, Tolly, and tonight Jack Tyde. All these men had something in common. They suck as human beings. So I beat the living hell out of them. Actually, that is kind of what I have been doing for twenty years. But now and then I run into a couple of special situations. Those situations require a little bit more of my attention. And those situations become what has been termed….the list. Mind you, this is hardly the first hit list to exist. Over the years, this has happened many, many time. Roaming feds, rosters and arenas to take out anyone that had the strikes against to make it on the hit list. The list contains quite a few names, and they will be taken care of as time progresses. Celeb Scott was shown to have been selected as number two. Why? Well Caleb Scott had a lot of potential. Yet another ego that was needed to be put in check. I stood back and watched how such a potential career turned to just complete shit. The attention was soon picked up by a group of individuals who are self entitled little mother fuckers who believe they are greater than everyone. That attention is what drives people crazy. The lust for power, without the ability to get it drives a man to the brink of self-destruction. Driven mad. This madness spreads through a roster taking everything out in its path. And this madness is the reason Caleb Scott had to be stopped. The over inflated ego, it needed to be stopped. Caleb you are a different case because you need to be stopped before the madness takes you over and you become one of them. Without any other reason, Caleb, you needed to be taken down a peg, you needed to be put in a fight we should have had on Mayhem if the time would have allowed. Your cult like presence needs to be extinguished before it festers into something much more dangerous. You became number two simply because of the better good of this company. You need to be taken down….its not personal Caleb…its fucking business!

The lights dim and turn red as fog slowly begins to roll out at the top of the entrance ramp. Over the PA ‘Alestorm’ by Alestorm begins to blast and as the rock music plays the fans let out a chorus of boos.

Go! A Storm is coming

The cold is mind numbing

Darkness is descending

Die, there’s no escaping

We’re all anticipating

Smashing your brains tonight!

As the lyrics are heard we can see a figure slowly emerge from below the entrance ramp. As he raises his large frame comes into focus as we see Jack Tyde. Not along however as his ‘companion’ Shante’ Waverly is cackling at his side. The two being to walk down the ramp and towards the ring. Tyde’s focus is straight ahead not pausing to even acknowledge the fans. Shante however mocks them and laughs at them as she goes by. Once in at the steel steps Jack pauses striking a ‘Captain Morgan’ like pose on the steps, as he does the Pyro explodes from all four corners sounding like cannons firing. Once the explosions die down he enters the ring grabbing a mic as he does.

Tyde: You run around hiding in the crowed, striking like a Coward. Caleb Scott is currently on Trail with the Court his faith is in our hands not yours, It is time that I remove you from the equation.

Higgins: Well it appears our next match is ready to get underway as they two didn’t want to wait any longer!

Glass: yea the ref is in the ring and its time, I’m excited to see these two collide!

** Ding, Ding **

Both men slowly walk to the center of the ring with Raines talking trash while Tyde just stares at him. Before long, Raines throws the first punch and Tyde returns with his own. They both go back and forth before Raines starts to gain the advantage, forcing Tyde to back up into the corner. Raines continues to throw punches at Tyde’s head and body amongst the cheers of the crowd while the ref gets in his ear to get Tyde out of the corner. Raines turns to the ref to intimidate him and when he turns back, Tyde explodes out of the corner and hits Raines in the jaw with a Bicycle Kick.

Higgins: Both of these men getting their shots in early.

Glass: Raines would be smart to not take his eyes off Tyde, he can take advantage if you give him the slightest window.

Getting back up, Raines is greeted with a throat thrust from Tyde which sends him back, leaning against the ropes. Tyde quickly runs at Raines and clotheslines him, sending him over the rope to the floor. Tyde takes a minute in the ring as the crowd hurls boos at him before heading to the floor outside. Raines has made it back to one knee at this point, as Tyde begins to walk toward Raines, Raines jumps up and drives his shoulder into the midsection of Tyde, picking him up, and slamming him hard into the barricade. The ref begins to count.

1…

2…

3…

Raines then picks Tyde up again and rams his back into the ring post, causing Tyde to writhe in pain on the floor, favoring his back. Raines delivers a couple of kicks to Tyde’s back while he’s on the ground.

4…

5…

6…

Higgins: Looks like Raines has found his target, going after the back of Tyde.

Glass: Smart strategy. He knows Tyde can’t hit a Final Verdict if his back is injured.

Raines picks up Tyde and rolls him back in the ring, following him in. Raines continues to target Tyde’s back as he pushes him back into the corner and whips Tyde to the opposite corner with all his strength. Tyde bounces off the turnbuckle and drops to the mat. Raines stands Tyde up and picks Tyde up with one arm around his waist and drops him down onto his knee with a backbreaker, attempting a pin.

1…

2…

Kickout.

Tyde quickly rolls out of the ring after kicking out, sitting on the floor by the apron trying to compose himself. The ref tries to prevent Raines from going after Tyde, the ref calling for Tyde to get back in the ring. However, growing impatient, Raines pushes the ref out of the way and grabs from Tyde between the top and middle rope. Raines grabs a fistful of hair but Tyde had grabbed a pipe from under the ring and drives the end of it into the head of Raines while the ref recovers, dropping him straight down onto his back.

Higgins: Oh my God! Tyde with a steel pipe to the skull of Raines. What a cowardly move.

Glass: Tyde is willing to do anything he can to win. Anything is legal if you don’t get caught, Higgins.

Tyde gets back in the ring and stalks Raines. Delivering a few boots to his head while he circles Raines. Eventually, Tyde pulls Raines up by his head and wraps his arms around him before flipping Raines over himself with an Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex. Raines rolls over to the corner, his body propped up by the bottom turnbuckle. Meanwhile, Tyde sets up in the opposite corner and waits for his moment. He then charges at Raines, flips and lands back first, crushing Raines with a Cannonball and quickly pulls him from the corner and goes for the pin.

1…

2…

Th…kickout

Tyde, staying on the attack, mounts Raines and begins to drop punches on him while Raines covers up, trying to protect himself. Eventually, Tyde stands up and leans on the ropes, still favoring his back Raines had attacked. Meanwhile, Raines rolls over to the opposite ropes and slowly tries to make his way back to his feet. Tyde, realizing this, begins to run at Raines but, out of desperation and using his last bit of energy, Raines manages to get his foot up and connects a big boot to the face of Tyde as both men fall to the mat in exhaustion and the ref begins to count.

1…

2…

3…

4…

Higgins: These men are giving everything they have, it would be a shame for it to end like this.

Glass: I don’t think either of them will let it end like that after what they’ve been through so far.

Both men slowly begin to move, rolling over and trying to push themselves up.

5…

6…

7…

8…

Both men make it back to their feet and lock eyes. They move towards each other ready to continue the battle. Back and forth they exchange right hands until Raines gains the advantage. Tyde, now backed against the ropes, gets whipped to the opposite ropes and comes back to a thunderous spinebuster from Raines. As Tyde tries to get up, Raines stays on him and hits Sadistic Sunshine, putting him back down on the mat and goes for the cover.

1…

2…

Thr…kickout!

Higgins: I can’t believe it! Tyde kicked out! I thought that was it.

Glass: Tyde must’ve reached down to Davy Jones’ locker to find the strength to kick out of that one.

Raines lies on the mat in disbelief. Both men running on fumes at this point, Raines picks up Tyde and pushes him back into the corner. He goes to whip Tyde but Tyde holds onto Raines’ arm and pulls Raines to him. Tyde attempts another overhead belly to belly suplex but his injured back won’t allow it. He is still able to turn it into a belly to belly slam, planting Raines to the mat. Tyde gets up and pumps himself up, trying to get that adrenaline flowing. As Raines gets up, Tyde approaches and grabs Raines arm, lifting him up onto his shoulders to go for the Final Verdict. But, again, Tyde’s back gives out and he drops Raines back to the mat. Raines takes advantage and hooks Tyde’s arms. Lifting him up and dropping him onto his head, hitting a Skyfall and hooking Tyde’s leg.

Charity: Your winner by Pin fall, Sean Raines!!

The Sadist Strikes

(featuring Caleb Scott, Jack Tyde, Sean Raines)

Higgins: Raines finally puts it away. Overcoming a pipe to the head to defeat Jack Tyde.

Glass: That was quite a match. Could’ve gone either way but Raines was just able to get by Tyde.

Raines stands and puts his hands up in victory while his music plays throughout the arena. He then stands over Tyde and looks down at him briefly before beginning to stomp Tyde. The Referee tries to stop Raines but he winds up to hit the Ref to scare him away. Raines picks up Tyde and hooks his arms, he lifts Tyde up to go for another Skyfall.

Higgins: What the hell is Raines doing? You already won the match.

Glass: Hold on a second, Higgins. Looks like we have company.

Suddenly, the crowd’s attention turns towards the stage and they start to cheer as Caleb Scott comes running down the ramp with his bat in hand. As Raines has Tyde in the air, Caleb slides into the ring and swings his bat right into the back of Raines. Tyde drops from Raines’ clutch as Raines turns to Caleb, his face showing the pain from the bat strike. Raines lunges at Caleb but he gets the bat to his midsection this time, dropping him to his knees. Caleb drops the bat and sets up in the corner, waiting for his moment. Once Raines begins to recover and makes it back to his feet, Caleb explodes out of the corner and connects his knee to Raines’ chin, hitting a Grim Death which sends Raines falling to the mat while Tyde watches, laying against the bottom turnbuckle. Tyde pulls himself to his feet as Caleb gets back to his. The two lock eyes from across the ring but neither move as they stare daggers into each other. Caleb’s music begins to play and he slowly exits the ring and walks backwards up the ramp without breaking eye contact with Tyde.

Higgins: Wow, what was the motivation for that from Caleb? Was he helping Tyde or just attacking Raines? Don’t forget, Raines called out Caleb earlier tonight as next on his list.

Glass: Intense stare down afterwards, Scott and Tyde didn’t seem to be on too friendly terms.

Better Late than Never

(featuring Florida Man)

The scene opens up to Kalvin Dayspring’s office as he’s stepping in. He walks behind his desk and takes a seat.

Dayspring: Finally, a show where everything is going right for once.

Arby Dillon pops out from under his desk and Kalvin yells and jumps back.

Dayspring: Who the hell are you? SECURITY!

Arby: No no! No need for security! It’s me, Arby Dillon!

Dayspring: … Arby Dillon?

Arby: Yeah we spoke on the phone about me coming in to wrestle some matches! I made it here when it wasn’t looking so good and I’m ready to hit than ring!

Dayspring: Well, Mr. Dillon…

Arby: You can call me Arby! Or since I’m here I will also accept the nickname of “Florida Man.” A lot of people have been calling me that one the last year or so.

Dayspring: So, Florida Man… you’re a wrestler?

Arby: Yes, sir. We talked about this on the phone, don’t you remember?

Dayspring: Sorry, things have been crazy around here lately. Everybody always needs something and they need it now. I’ll tell you what. Come back here in two weeks and I’ll have a good match for you on Friday Night Combat. How does that sound, Arby?

Arby smiles a huge childish grin.

Arby: Mister Dayspring… you got yourself a deal!

Kalvin: Excellent. I have to ask… is Arby a nickname as well?

Arby: Well you see, my daddy was real real hungry when I was born….

The show shifts back to center ring with Charity already in and ready for the next match.

Charity: The Next match is for both the Hardcore & Uprising Championship! It is a tag team match coming to the ring first representing the Nightmare Court Sebastian Hamilton and Tex Attwater!!

Higgins: This is an interesting match where the double Champion Sebastian Hamilton is defending both his singles titles in a tag team match, so even if his partner gets pinned he loses both his belts!

Glass: It seems like an attempt to cause some dissension amongst the members of the Court but so far it hasn’t happened.

The lights dim as Hoist the Colors hit the PA and we see Sebastian Hamilton Appear at the top of entrance, behind him the large, twisted monster that is Tex Attwater. They slowly pace down the ramp and into the ring as Charity continues.

Charity: Their opponents for the night the team of The Silence and El Landerson!!

As she says that music for Landerson plays but no one appears, she seems a bit confused as she speaks to the ref after a few seconds and then clears her throat and speaks again.

Charity: Their Opponents, the combination of The Silence and EL LANDERSON!!!!

Again the music hits and once again nothing happens.

Higgins: What on earth? Are these two not showing up for their match? I mean titles are on the line this is odd..

Glass: I am getting message from the back Alex, hold on look we are about to switch to the back something is happening.

The view switches to backstage where we see El Landerson’s dressing room, the door however is barricaded shut and no one can get out. You can hear Landerson banging trying to get some one to let him out.

Higgins: Well it looks like that explains why Landerson isn’t here what about Silence?!

As if on que the view switches back to the entrance ramp and we see the Silence fly from backstage and roll down the ramp. Quickly followed behind him is Edward and Benjamin Hamilton. The two beat on the downed man as the drag him down the ramp. You can tell he has already been beat up backstage, Edward pulls out a pair of brass knuckles as he hits the Silence hard with the knuckles and then Benjamin rolls him in under the bottom rope. Charity has exited the ring at this point and the ref seems confused.

Glass: Well looks like at least the Silence could make it, time to start this thing up!

Higgins: Are you serious right now?! The Hamilton Establishment has already done a number on this guy and his partner is barricaded in his locker room right now this isn’t a real match!

Sebastian however tells the ref to call for the bell and the ref has no choice but to do so. Sebastian then takes his spot outside of the ring and lets Tex start the match. Tex smiles as he kicks the already downed Silence a few times before lifting him up the feet and starting the “Last Rodeo” (big Swing) on him. He spins and spins for over a dozen rotations before letting him fly across the ring. He then makes a motion like he’s whipping sweat from his brow as he walks over to tag in Sebastian.

Glass: The champ is in! He may be looking to finish this one quick!

Higgins: It’s already over. I can’t believe this…

Sebastian slaps silence in the back of the head a few times before dragging him to his feet and hitting “The Headliner” (Spinning backbreaker into Reverse STO) on him and floating over for a pin.

Charity: Your winners The NIGHTMARE COURT!!!

The music hits as the Nightmare Court retrieve Sebastian’s titles and make their exit.

Blood Sport

(featuring Xavier Lux)

We cut to the locker room area where we are following Ally Anderson as she is rushing to where she is hearing a commotion. It seems to be coming from the medical room, and since they find the door wide open, they go in. Xavier is seating on the therapy bed, holding his mid-section in pain and having one of IIW’s doctor’s looking at a gash in his forehead, trying to clean it so he can stich him up, but Xavier is clearly upset.

Xavier: Just leave it doc, I’m fine!

Doc: I can’t just leave it open like that, I need to stitch you up and then I need to look at those ribs to make sure you don’t have any broken ones.

Xavier notices Ally come in with the camera man and he stands up, shoving the doc away.

Xavier: Ally, glad you’re here, is that thing on? Great! Listen up Court of Owls or whatever the hell you guys call yourselves… I want to thank you, because up until now, my stay in IIW had been pretty boring… So, I had been looking for a good fight where the odds were stacked against me… My first three opponents simply haven’t done that, specially that good for nothing cowboy Tex Attwater… But now, looks like the cavalry has come out of the desert to avenge him.. Good, nah, it’s great!
Xavier says sarcastically and even forces a smile that makes him look kind of demented as blood has started to trickle down his face. It hits his lips and he tastes it, then wipes it off with his hand, looks at it and then smears it across his chest.

Xavier: Jack Tyde… you interrupting my good work 2 weeks ago was one thing, but you coming and attacking me after my match tonight is a whole ‘nother thing… If you wanted a fight, all you had to do was ask… But since you want to do things the punk way, let me be the man in this equation… I heard there is a pay-per-view right around the corner… Help me out Ally…

Ally: Ah yes, Riot Act is the next pay-

Xavier: SUPER! Jack Tyde, you, and me, one on one or bring your whole court, I don’t give a damn, but I want you at the pay-per-view, but not in just any regular match… Nah… I want you in a first blood match! Tonight, you gave me a taste of what you’re about, but at Riot Act, you will get to taste the venom that runs through my veins and just like your cowboy partner, when it is all over and done with… You’ll be left looking up at the lights, bruised, battered, beaten and bloodied…

Before Ally can ask a question, the doctor tells her to please leave so he can work on Xavier, and she reluctantly agrees… The doc tries to pat Xavier’s forehead to clean up the blood but Xavier shoves him and then flips the bed over in anger and storms out, leaving Ally there with the doctor. The view then returns to ringside for the next match.

Higgins: “Well here we are. The main event, and what a match this promises to be. This twisted little brainchild from Kal Dayspring gives us, what from the outside appears to be a simple tag team match. But there is nothing simple anywhere near this thing. We have two of the hottest feuds of the brand battling it out all while trying to coexist with each other. We have Crush and PG-13, a rivalry that has lasted nearly all of their lives. The brothers have taken your basic sibling rivalry and turned it up to eleven. Each wanting to out do the other, but when these two step in there with each other it takes aggression to a whole new level. Both went into a triple threat match at Theater of War only a few short weeks ago, PG-13 proved dominant and walked out of Chicago with the FNC Global Championship. A title that Crush wants, but even more so doesn’t want PG to have. Fast forward to last week on Combat, Crush went head to head with TJ Alexander. Those two will have to team up tonight, and try and trust each other as they take on their rival opponents. But there chaos isn’t just subjected to one side of this match. In the opposite corner we have Andre Cash and PG-13 trying to coexist. Two dominant combatants, two of the biggest, strongest and ego driven individuals that now have to try and team up together. A recipe for disaster trying to make two alpha personalities on the same side. Crush and PG want nothing less than to rip each other apart, but unfortunately they have to play by the rules as the other two men in there, TJ Alexander and Andre Cash want to be in the ring, beating the bloody hell out of each other as well. So we are going to have a battle to be the legal man in all while battling for the win here tonight.”

Glass: “I don’t know how much caring there will be about winning the match in this one. I honestly believe it is going to be more so focused on beating the living shit out of each other. I really don’t think anyone is going to be safe in this one.”Higgins: “Well there is really only one way to tell what is going to happen, lets toss this over to Charity Langston and get this shit show under way.”

Charity Langston: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the following match is a tag team match scheduled for one fall, and is your Main Event Of The Evening! First to the ring, your current Combat Television Champion! TJ ALEXANDER!”

‘The Touch’ by Stan Bush hits and is barely audible over the reaction of the crowd who are about to witness the marquee match they are all in attendance for. Smoke and pyro start to fill the stage as we see TJ himself at the entrance ramp. Looking out at the crowd he poses for a moment before starting his long walk down the ramp. High-fiving the fans along the ringside barrier before hopping up onto the apron on one leg. He once again looks out at the crowd before pulling his other leg up and stepping into the ring. TJ makes his way around the ring, before running towards the corner and hopping up on the second rope. He reaches around his back, undoing his title and holding it high above his head. The live crowd goes crazy, as they erupt into a huge pop of excitement and start to chant, TJ, TJ,TJ!

Charity Langston: “And his tag team partner this evening, CRUSH!”

Kingdom by Downstait blast over the PA and the fans in the arena go berserk. The cheers are so loud that it drowns out both Glass and Higgins at first. A chant of ‘Crush, Crush, Crush’ can be heard before the big man appears at the top of the entrance ramp. He looks around the crowd and smiles before raising his fist above his head, he slams it into the ground and pyro explodes on either side of him. The energy echoes through the arena, as Crush stands once again and starts to make his way down to ringside.Charity Langston: “And their opponents, first making his way to the ring. He is the current Combat Global Champion. Ladies and Gentlemen PG-13!”

‘Hero’ By Skillet blast as the beast appears on the entrance ramp. Black shorts, boots and gloves, PG dressed in his normal ring gear. Stopping at the top of the ramp, PG jumps back and forth between feet. His FNC Global Title shining in the glow of the spotlights. PG pauses for a moment as his pyro blasts behind him, taking a moment to take in the energy of the building before starting his march down the ramp and into the ring.

Charity Langston: “And finally…..his tag team partner, the fourth man in this Main Event match….Andre Cash!”Killer by Eminem hits the PA and the fans let out a reaction as Andre Cash is seen on the ramp. You can tell by the look on his face he is ready for a fight. Andre doesn’t take any time to pose on the ramp, instead he starts a full out run to the ring not waiting for the bell he slides under the bottom rope and goes directly at TJ Alexander. Cash takes off from one corner, connecting a spear to the hips of TJ Alexander who loses his footing and both men go tumbling between the ropes to the arena floor.

With only two men left in the ring the referee calls for the bell and the match can begin.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Higgins: “It is going to be interesting to see what kind of control this referee is going to have in this thing. I wouldn’t want to be the one in there calling this thing.”

Glass: “With so much hatred happening with two of the most heated rivalries happening on Combat, and Andre fresh off of suspension, only time will tell what is going to unfold tonight!”

Higgins: “Andre isn’t even off of suspension; this is his trial match to see if Dayspring will allow him back on the active roster.”

PG-13 and Crush waste no time in going after each other. The two brothers both charge towards each other, locking up in the center of the ring before resorting to the timeless tactic of a good old slug fest. Both brothers trade punches back and forth.

Glass: “Old Fashioned hockey fight happening in front of our eyes here tonight. Are we sure neither of these guys is Canadian?”

Higgins: “Give it a few minutes to see if either apologizes, then we will know.”

Glass: “For some reason I don’t think that an apology is going to happen between these two.”

Higgins: “In that case, I guess not then.”

As Crush and PG-13 continue to trade punches inside the ring, the camera switches to the action on the outside of the ring. TJ Alexander and Andre Cash, giving everything they have at ringside.

Andre Cash with the upper hand. TJ down to one knee, leaning against the ring steps as Andre slams him down with forearms across the back. TJ with a quick elbow low blow, as Andre steps back TJ attempts to rise to his feet pushing down on the steel steps for leverage. Andre once again on the defense and slams his foot down crushing TJ’s hand against the cold steel steps. A quick grab of the back of TJ’s head, Andre slams him face first into the stairs.

Crush and PG-13 still battling it out inside the ring. At this point Crush has the upper hand, as PG-13 stands leaning with his back against the corner and crush throwing a series of heavy kicks to his stomach. PG drops to a knee, Crush taking the perfect moment to take a few steps back. A quick run, Crush with the attempt at a big boot to the face of PG-13. PG pulls a defensive move out of nowhere, grabbing a hold of Crush and flipping him up over his shoulder. Crush tries to grab the top rope, but he loses his grip and tumbles over the rope crashing down against the ring apron on his way to the arena floor.

PG-13 stands leaning against the ropes. Both arms stretched across the top rope, his head face down across his arms. Trying to catch a breathe and taking a moment to regain his senses.Crush lay on the mats of the concrete arena floor. His head still ringing after slamming off of the ring apron as he fell to the floor. He lay motionless, his vertical, covering his face and holding the back of his head. The ringing in his brain has him dazed, taking a few heavy breathes trying to get to the pint of focusing on the match once again.

Andre Cash has picked up TJ Alexander and tried to roll him back into the ring. As TJ lay on the side of the apron, Andre had tried to push him under the ropes. A quick rake of the eyes and Andre instantly reaches up to his face to protect it, but TJ takes the momentary break to turn himself around and kick wildly at Andre Cash. One of those wild kicks connects directly into the middle of the Andre’s face. A direct kick sends Andre flying back, a small trickle of blood starts to form across the bridge of his nose, and a fresh run of blood starts to stream down Andre’s face as the new gash opens across his face.

Andre leans forward, hands on his knees as the blood starts to pour out of his face and drip down to the mat. TJ has pulled himself under the ropes and has leaned himself up against the corner post. Andre stands up once again, this time making eye contact with TJ Alexander. The two stare at each other, the anger felt by everyone in attendance. As the two remain completely focused on each other, Andre’s attention is drawn away from everything else happening in the arena. Out of nowhere…. SLAM! Andre Cash’s head goes flying to the left, his body crashing to the floor.

Crush, now back to his feet took the opportunity to get a leg up for his team. Without pun he delivers a running big foot directly to the side of the face of Andre Cash. Andre now lay flat out on the arena floor, Crush sliding back into the ring towards the action of the match.

Crush and TJ now in the ring with PG-13. The three men square off, but the match seems to have turned to a handicap match out of nowhere. The major feud in the ring at this moment is obviously between Crush and his brother PG-13, but in reality Crush and TJ know they are currently tag team partners and working together is the best way to guarantee the win.

TJ is the first to make an attack. Jumping in to lock up with PG-13. Not the smartest move on behalf of TJ, PG-13 obviously over powers him and pushes back his advance. Crush with the aid, jumping in with a flying forearm to the head, forcing PG to stumble back. Crush and TJ jump in with a pair of kicks, pushing PG back and losing his balance falling to the mat. The tag partners waste no time in jumping in and continue the attack throwing kick after kick at the defenseless PG-13.

Both partners stop the attack as TJ Alexander attempts to pick PG-13 up, standing him back on his feet before throwing him barrelling towards the ropes. PG bounces off the ring ropes, returning back towards TJ who picks him up in what looks like an attempted spin buster slam, but before he can deliver the move Crush comes flying over his shoulder. Crashing down onto his brother with a flying superman punch out. As PG-13 lay motionless on the ring mat, TJ turns towards Crush and points him towards making the pin.

Crush drops for the cover. Grabbing up the leg of PG-13 as the ref tries to figure out who the legal man is. The ref drops to the mat for the pin.

Kick out by PG-13.Crush can’t believe it. He sits up onto his feet. Turning towards TJ, trying to figure out what just happened? And how it is possible PG managed to kick out.
As TJ Alexander and Crush look at each other confused, TJ suddenly falls forward. Andre Cash is back on his feet, and has grabbed TJ by the legs and falling to the mat.

Andre slides in under the ropes, quickly getting to his feet he charges at Crush. Knowing that a pin not only costs him the match, but he will officially go on the record as having a loss against TJ Alexander…a fact that Andre Cash can not live with.TJ also back to his feet, Andre Cash and TJ Alexander now face to face as they face off. With PG-13 now back to his feet and on the attack towards Crush.
The referee tries to get a handle on what is happening with the match, and trying frantically to get a hand on who the two legal men are in the match at this point. Complete chaos breaks out as TJ Alexander squares off once again with Andre Cash, and PG-13 tries with everything he has to tear the head off the shoulders of his brother, Crush.
The four battle it out, trading punches and kicks back and forth. As the ref tries to make sence of it all, Crush is sent flying over the top rope by a massive clothesline from Andre Cash. We once again find ourselves in a handicap situation as PG-13 and Andre Cash stand in the ring with TJ Alexander. Andre with a back kick to TJ Alexander stunning him for a quick moment. It only takes a moment for PG-13 to jump into the situation, dropping one shoulder he throws TJ Alexander up onto his should before crashing him to the mat with The Revelation! TJ is done, laying lifeless in the center of the ring. Andre Cash goes for the pin

Nothing!

PG-13 and Andre Cash realizing that there is nothing happening both turn their towards the ref. PG-13 is the first to cause a problem. Yelling at the ref, he points towards Cash who is still covering a lifeless TJ Alexander. But the referee is having no part of it and starts yelling back.

Higgins: “Some obvious frustration on the face of PG-13, probably due to the fact that he is yelling at the referee to get down and count out TJ Alexander.”

Glass: “The referee is in there, and is not looking like he is going to back down, let’s see if we can find out what exactly is happening in there.”

Higgins: “It sound like the referee isn’t actually refusing to count for the pin. The problem seems to be that TJ Alexander is not the actual legal man in this match! TJ and Andre Cash started this match battling on the outside and have never actually been tagged into the match! Neither man involved in this pin fall are legally able to be involved with the pin fall.”

Both PG-13 and Andre Cash now on their feet, face to face arguing with the referee.

Higgins: “Well this is just a giant fucking waste of time! Standing there arguing with the ref does not win matches there guys! Someone needs to actually do something different.”

PG-13’s eyes suddenly open wide as he loses his balance and falls backwards towards the mat! It’s Crush! Crush has slid in under the ropes and rolled PG-13 up in a small package pin! The ref drops as now both legal men are in the ring.

Thre…NO PG WITH THE KICK OUT!

As the two pop to their feet Crush is ready to end it as he charges forward for the “Bone Crusher” (spear) But PG is ready and in one motion picks him up hitting “The Revelation!” and quickly hooking a leg.

Higgins: Oh My god that is the same way he reversed the move earlier!

Charity: Your winner by Pin fall The Team of PG-13 & Andre Cash!!

Glass: Twice in one night PG shows he has his brothers number? Could this be it, at Riot Act could PG take it ALL!

PG rolls out of the ring and goes to get his title as he does he see’s the ECE one and picks it up as well. With a sick Smile he holds them both above his head as the show goes off the air we are left with a shot of PG-13 holding both titles.
