FNC 2-10-2023
–Combat
We hear ‘War Pigs’ blasting as the show comes on the air. The camera is panning the audience at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The sold out crowd are screaming to the top of their lungs and holding up various signs showing their support for certain combatants. Eventually the camera settles with our ringside commentary crew Alex Higgins and Arthur B. Glass, both men standing in front of their commentary table as Alex begins to speak.
Higgins: Ladies and Gentlemen I am Alexander Higgins and this is my partner tonight as usual Arthur B. Glass!
Glass does a little flourish with his hand as he takes a bow and Higgins continues.
Higgins: And Welcome to Combat! It was just two weeks ago that we witnessed what is known as Siege Perilous, a truly dreadful structure where 8 of our finest were locked inside. The winner was to be the one who could scale up the side of the dome to become the first ever Global Champion!
Glass: What a brutal ordeal it did become. Even a man of my stature in this business, a man who has seen everything, a man who has analyzed, predicted and even guided the careers of the greatest men in this industry was a bit taken back by the violence of Siege Perilous. Eight men entered and no one left unscythed, but one did leave with that 20 pounds of gold draped across his shoulder.
Higgins: That is right, the man who has claimed that Combat was HIS show since day one. Our Television Champion Caleb Scott managed to scale the dome and become the first EVER FNC Global Champion but that was almost overshadowed by the appearance of Mayhem Star Crush at the end of the match.
Glass: After such a brutal match I am shocked that any of those men could even walk right now but all of them are present tonight and..
-Battle for the Crown
(featuring Crush, TJ Alexander, PG-13, Caleb Scott)
Glass is interrupted as ‘Kingdom’ by Downstait blast over the PA and the fans in the arena go berserk. The cheers are so loud that it drowns out both Glass and Higgins at first. A chant of ‘Crush, Crush, Crush’ can be heard before the big man appears at the top of the entrance ramp with his ECE World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. He looks around the crowd and smiles before raising his fist above his head, he slams it into the ground and pyro explodes on either side of him.
Glass: Well it doesn’t seem like we have to wait long to get this party under way, our visitor from Mayhem seems to want to start things off hot tonight.
Higgins: Well I am sure everyone has a million questions about what on earth he was doing at Combat and what is his status with the show itself? Is he coming over? It appeared his goal was to strike a blow at Mecca but that was accomplished and yet he is still here!
Glass: He is here because Combat is the place to be, our talent speaks for itself each and every week.
As the pyro stops and the smoke settles you can see Crush’s wife Jessica Hutman standing behind him. The two then begin to make their way to the ring. Once inside he stands on the turnbuckle and raises his ECE World Title to another loud pop from the fans. Jessica grabs a mic and hands it to her husband. His music is cut as he prepares to speak.
Crush: Well this is IIW Combat huh? This seems like the place to be after a few weeks ago. Ya see, ever since I lost MY United Kingdom Championship, things haven’t been going that well for The King of Extreme. Losing that IIW World Title match back in December was a wake up call. It was time I re-evaluate my place in this company.
The crowd seems confused but allows Crush to finish
Crush: In the process I was pulling double duty in ECE as their World Champion as well as here but it seemed like every time I got a little bit of momentum here, a group of trash tries to take me out. Well, that stops now. I came to Combat last week with one goal in mind and that was to give Axel Shaw his receipt for what he did to me at Mayhem.. And I think he got a lot more than that.
The crowd cheers as Jessica is left smiling
Crush: Axel and I go back. I ran him out of ECE because he realized he couldn’t compete with the best. So, he comes to IIW thinking it’s over. Nah, you made your choice and paid the consequences. So, I guess you could say I ran Shaw outta TWO promotions in a month. But something clicked inside of me.. I want more. Being ECE World Heavyweight Champion is great but I want to go back to being the belt collector. I’ve done it all over the last 23 years. Now, it’s time to show the people of IIW exactly what I am capable of. If that means I have to come to Combat and take their Global Title then so be it.
The crowd erupts at that statement
Crush: Last week was just the first step. I’m gonna be sticking around for a little while and trust me, If you thought last week was a statement, you haven’t seen anything yet.
The lights dim as # HERO # blares on the announce system as the crowd starts booing. Crush closes his eyes in frustration as he knows who it is and PG-13 slowly walks out from behind the curtain. PG-13 is flanked by his agent, Michael Hill, as he has a microphone in his hand. PG shakes his head as he walks down to the ring. Crush instructs his wife to go outside as PG gets closer to the ring. PG climbs up the steel steps as does Hill before getting into the ring and face to face with his brother.
PG-13: Well well well.. It seems no matter the company, you are always here trying to take up my time, Aaron.
Crush: I actually wasn’t thinking about your time at all, Mike.
PG-13: See that’s your problem “brother”. You never think about ANYBODY but yourself. Not your wife, not the BMFs, not The Dynasty, not your brothers, nobody. It’s been that way our whole lives. Combat is MY shot to get the attention I deserve. I chose to come to combat simply because you were on Mayhem and yet here you are, like a cockroach.
Crush: My business over here had nothing to do with you and still doesn’t. Unless you want to make it about you which is kinda what you do. You make everything about you. That’s why YOUR wife left you, our parents don’t want to hear from you, and Jake, Bryan, Andrew, and myself want nothing to do with you.
PG-13: I wouldn’t be talking about wives considering how easily I kidnapped yours last year. I don’t give a SHIT about our family and whether they want anything to do with me or not. They never gave a damn about me growing up. They didn’t help me get into this business. I DID! By myself. I didn’t need You, Jake, or any damn body! Combat is MY show. Not yours. What happened on X-Rated and Combat last week will NOT happen again. You may be lucky enough right now because I can’t challenge for that ECE Title again as long as you’re champion. This ain’t ECE. You don’t have management protecting you here.
Crush: I’ve never needed protection, Mike. I am a goddamn legend. TWENTY World Championships. I’ve beaten everybody there is to beat. I beat you and took My title back at Crash and Burn. The BMFs and TJ Alexander took care of your Enterprise so bad Mike Sanders left you guys high and dry and Axel Shaw put his tail between his legs and quit. You just can’t accept that maybe I’m just better than you.
PG-13: That’ll never happen because it isn’t true. I’ll take care of Mike Sanders at ECE Leap of Faith… I was gonna take care of Axel until he left here. However, you’re still here and I told you. Title or no Title, I am going to make your life a living hell. You’re not going to come here and make Combat your own personal playground like you do everywhere else. I’m going to make sure of that.
Crush: Well you’re gonna have your chance, Mike because i’m not leaving here until I have that Global Championship over my shoulder to go along with the ECE Championship around my waist.
PG-13 gets nose to nose with Crush. The crowd is roaring with anticipation as it looks like things might explode here. Michael Hill tries to pull PG back a bit until “Ze Nigmar” begins to play throughout the arena. Caleb Scott walks out onto the stage with the Global Championship on his shoulder, Television Championship around his waist, and his bat in his hand. Caleb’s music fades, and the boos grow louder. He waits for the boos to die down before speaking.
Scott: Enough already with you two. Crush, you might have been around the world winning championships and are the current ECE Champion, but that means absolutely nothing on my show. You have come into my world uninvited and think you can just decide to come after my Global Championship? After doing absolutely zero on Combat to earn it. Your accolades don’t count for anything here, and your little Combat tour is going to crash and burn before it even gains any traction.
Another wave of boos is directed towards Caleb as he talks, ignoring them this time.
Scott: You two want to come out here and talk about the ECE and Leap of Faith and bicker back and forth about family history like you’re thirteen years old. PG, are you really talking about getting the attention you deserve? You’re 45 and still trying to prove you’re the better brother.
Caleb then lifts his bat and points it down at PG-13 and Crush.
Scott: So, why don’t you two go back to ECE and deal with your issues there so I can continue to dominate Combat without having to babysit you children. If you think Combat is your show, PG, then you’re going to get humbled real quick, along with Crush, because the person who runs Combat is the one standing before you draped in all of its gold.
Caleb drops the bat back to his side and takes a few steps towards the ring.
Scott: So, if you, Crush, TJ or any of the others decide to try and step up, I’ll tear you apart so brutally that you’ll be following behind Axel right out of IIW.
The mic is tossed to the ground as Caleb pointed his bat at the two in the ring once more before confidently and methodically approaching the ring. Crush and PG have separated a bit now as their full attention is on the champion marching towards the ring.
Higgins: Looks like Caleb Scott is ready to prove whose show this is and I honestly don’t see either of the brothers backing down from him despite him having a baseball bat.
Glass: Some one had better get security in here or we are going to have one hell of a fight before the show even gets started!
The crowd erupts in cheers drawing our attention to the audience where we see running through the crowd none other than TJ Alexander. He hops the guard rail by the entrance ramp and quickly goes for Caleb Scott. Hitting a hard forearm on him from behind causing him to drop his bat. As soon as this happens PG-13 does not hesitate to attack his brother in the ring. The two men in the ring begin to exchange thunderous blows with each other as Scott and Alexander start to brawl down the ramp and into the ring.
Higgins: Where the hell did TJ come from? It’s like he just drove up and ran in from the parking lot to take his shot at the Champ!
Glass: TJ is still bitter over the after match beat down the Purge gave him at X-Plosion and has made it his duty to pay Caleb back for it ever since they both came to combat! That and the bad blood between the brothers in the ring is just too much tension at one time!
Higgins: Well we know TJ and Caleb will fight on Ground Zero but that is if they both make it there, after Siege Perilous and now this brawl they have to be in pain!
Once inside of the ring a moment comes where Crush and TJ back into each other and jump looking at each other a second before nodding and not attacking. PG and Caleb however are circling around the two as they get ready to attack. As they go in for the attack the security has finally arrived and begin to get in between them pulling them apart. You can see at the ramp way Kalvin Dayspring is also on hand directing the security to hold them back as he gets a mic.
Dayspring: You know what, if you guys want to fight so badly it’s fine by me and I am sure it’s fine by everyone here in Nashville!
The fans let out a loud cheer as he mentions the town before he continues.
Dayspring: But let’s do it right shall we. TONIGHT in the main event how about we have ourselves a good old fashion tag team match. Where TJ Alexander teams up with our newest Combatant Crush! And you two see if you can dispatch the team of PG-13 and our double Champion Caleb Scott!
Once again the fans cheer and you can see all three of the men seemingly happy for a chance to have the match.
Dayspring: But until then, get out of the ring we got a show to put on that doesn’t revolve around you four!
Now that the match is booked the security doesn’t seem to have as hard of a time separating the men as we cut to the back as they are clearing everyone out.
-Shady Deals
(featuring Jack Tyde & ???? )
Backstage we see Jack Tyde in a dark room talking to someone, the mystery person has his back turned to the camera so we can barely see anything other than a rough silhouette. Tyde seems pleased as he speaks
Tyde: With your help tonight will mark the end of that country cow poke that has been a roadblock to me ever since we both arrived on Combat. Maybe even after we finish him off this can be the start of something beneficial for both of us, maybe even long term what do you think.
The figure seems to nod and we can see a shadowy hand extend and Tyde shakes it before speaking to him again.
Tyde: Time to change up our method on Tex, see you later tonight.
The figure nods once again as Tyde turns and exits. The camera appears to rotate a bit to get a glimpse of who he was talking to but before he does a large hand covers the lens and everything goes black. After a few seconds we are returned to ringside.
HIggins: Whoever Tyde was talking to, whatever dark deal he has bargained for has got to be something for Tex to be concerned with. Poor Tex hasn’t even got to wrestle a decent match on Combat since we launched, having Tyde attack him and take him out for a month before he could even enter the qualifier and to hear Tyde tell it he’s the victim.
Glass: I doubt you will ever hear Tyde call himself a victim but your right Tex should be watching his back, around every corner, under every rock and in the shadows apparently because whatever ungodly threat Shante’ claims Tex to be Tyde will not relent until he has taken Tex completely out of Combat.
-Reserved
(featuring Sean Raines)
Higgins: Speaking of a dangerous man who is taking people off Combat left and right we are hoping for an update on Sean Raines and his status with Combat later tonight during Byrd’s Eye View.
Glass: And for some insane reason our colleague Jason Byrd has decided it was a good idea to not just invite Sean Raines but reserve him a seat front row for tonight’s Show.
The camera pans to ringside where we see a seat sitting with some roping around it separating it from the rest of the seats. This along with a sign in the center of the seat that can clearly be read saying ‘Reserved: Sean Raines – Guest of Honor’. The fans in the shot are going crazy and one of them keeps holding out a sign that clearly says ‘Game Changer for President’.
Glass: As you can see despite the generous personal invite from Byrd we have not heard from or seen Sean since last Combat when he put Anthony Phoenix on the shelf.
Higgins: Let’s hope we keep it that way, every time he shows up someone leaves on a stretcher and when he runs out of Combatants we might be next!
Glass: Well lucky for us both we are nowhere near short on Combatants and it’s time to get the show on the road with our first match between two of them tonight!

Higgins: Thats right ABG and our first match of the night should be a great one! The veteran and beloved El Landerson takes on a new upcoming young Eddie Charisma both men suffered a lost last week.
Glass: Eddie is still looking for his first singles win since his Partner Bill Nemeth was injured a few weeks back and El Landerson is looking to reignite some success from his past since debuting on Combat it should be interesting this is a true display of youth versus experience.
The sounds of the crowd can be heard as we get ready for the night’s match. The view shifts to the ring as Charity clears her throat and starts the announcement tonight.
Charity: First coming to the ring from San Diego, California EL Landerson!!
Booyka 619 hit’s he walks out on stage and kneels down on one knee and prays. He gets up and points to the Fans in Pyro fireworks burst open and switch to the other side of the stage in does the same thing in after he was done he slowly walks down the ramp in slaps some little kids high fives and he stops and stares at the kid in hands him his Luchdor Mask to him and heads straight towards the ring and hops on the turnbuckle and pose both fingers in mid air and walks to the other side turnbuckle in does the same thing mid finger in the air in he gets down and wait for his Opponent arrive.
Higgins: Landereson knows how to make an entrance as he awaits Charisma coming to the ring.
Glass: I would say that this should be a good match but, well we will see. I really don’t know who to cheer for so we can hurry it up already?
Higgins: Way to not play favorites there Glass.
Charity: His opponent for the night, from the Netherlands Eddie Charisma!!
“Caramelldansen” hits as Eddie makes his way to the ring and immediately goes after Landerson with a set of quick punches, the ref quickly signals for the bell to get the match officially underway.
***Ding, Ding***
Eddie goes to Irish whip Landerson but Landerson catches Charisma and hits him with a spinning wheel kick which sends Eddie down to the mat.
Glass: Damn even I have to admit that was a beautiful move from Landerson. Maybe he still has a lot left in him after all.
Higgins: I never count those with age on their side out. It’s good to get experience no matter how you can.
Landerson slides Eddie into an arm wrench inside cradle, as the ref slides down to check on Charisma who begans to fight his way out of the cradle, knocking Landerson’s grip loose and Charisma is finally able to get to his feet and hits Landerson with a suplex, sending Landerson into the corner as the crowd begins to come alive and go wild.
Glass: Look at that, the crowd is even getting into it.
Landerson takes the chance to slide out of the ring and gathers himself as he seems to have Charisma in his sights and slides in and jerks Charisma’s foot, forcing Charisma to fall down to the ground. Landerson then gets back into the ring as the ref has reached a count of four and picks Charisma up and throws him into the corner where we see Charisma’s head snap against the turnbuckle.
Higgins: Ouch! That looked like it hurt.
Glass: Not enough but Landerson is about to take full advantage.
Landerson goes for and delivers a corner slingshot suplex, as we see Charisma’s body fall to the mat. Landerson climbs to the top rope, looking like he is about to go for Landerson Frog Splash. Landerson dives off the top rope but Charisma moves out of the way just in time, as Landerson meets nothing but mat!
Charisma quickly slides into place and locks Landerson into “The Eddie Escape.” The ref goes down to check on Landerson and it is not long before Landerson taps out as the crowd goes wild as the ref reaches down and helps Charisma up, as Charisma picks up the win!
***Ding, Ding***
Charity: Your Winner by Submission, Eddie Charisma!!
Higgins: What a great match.
Glass: Indeed but someone better get some medical staff to check in on Landerson and make sure that he is okay!
-Better late than Never
(featuring Sean Raines)
After the match there is a bit of commotion in the audience, as the camera pans to the source we see Sean Raines making his way through the audience and towards the front row. As he is however, one of the Security stops him and directs him to his ‘reserved’ seat. He sighs as he heads that direction. Once there he pauses and gives it an odd look before tossing the sign on the ground and taking his seat making sure to prop his feet up on the barricade and lean back to watch the show.
Glass: Well it seems like the guest of Honor has made it ringside, I know you’re overjoyed.
Higgins: Of course I just hope that Jason Byrd has better luck than Ally did last Combat in finding out why Raines is here and possibly putting an end to this whole random attack thing he is doing.
-No Mercy from Mercer
(featuring Jack Tyde, Shante’ Waverly, Tex Attwater)
The lights dim in the arena as smoke fills the entrance ramp and Alestorm by Alestorm blast over the PA as it does the fans let out a giant chorus of boos. You can see Tyde slowly rise up from the entrance with Shante’ by his side.
Higgins: Well from one depraved madman to another, I am starting to be concerned for my safety on this show.
Glass: Mad Men equal ratings Alex! At least this one seems laser focused on just one target at the moment. I am curious however who he was talking to backstage prior to this!
By this time the lights have returned to normal as Tyde rolls under the bottom rope and into the ring. Shante grabs a microphone and brings it in with her, she passes it to Tyde as he looks around waiting for the boos to die down before speaking.
Tyde: If you penniless drudges think your boos have any effect on me then your more naive than I ever imagined.
A wave of boos come again as he pauses listening and smirking before he speaks again.
Tyde: I mean what should I expect from people in Nashville Tennessee! Still that is not what I am here for, what I am here for is you Tex Attwater. I think it’s time we had a man to man talk. So bring your gimp ass out here and look me in the eye, I got something to say!
He paces back and forth a bit motioning for him to come out as he waits. It only takes a few seconds however before “Cowboy ” by Kid Rock blast over the PA and the fans erupt in cheers. Pyro begins to explode on either side of the arena similar to a pistol firing off. It explodes 6 times on either side before Tex can be seen in the smoke. His arm covered in tape but no longer sporting the brace as he stares into the ring at Tyde.
Higgins: I am not sure what Tyde has up his sleeve but we all know Tex is not 100 percent you can still see his arm is heavily taped up I hope he knows what he is doing.
Glass: Like him or hate him Tex Attwater is a man’s man who isn’t going to sit in the back like a coward while someone calls him out. Now that might mean another trip to the emergency room but he’s got his pride to think about.
Tex starts to head up the steel steps and pauses a second taking off his cowboy hat and tossing it into the audience. A pretty girl catches it and he gives her a wink before ducking between the ropes and comes face to face with Jack Tyde.
Tyde: Calm down partner, I didn’t call you out here to end you. No see I wanted to get something off my chest, you see Tex since I have been on Combat I began to make a few new ‘friends’. And these ‘friends’ are powerful people and with their help I was able to dig up something about you, the Truth about the Texas Truth Teller.
Tex sighs before heading to the ropes and getting a mic for himself.
Tex: I’m not sure what you’re up to Tyde but I sure as hell don’t trust you, and I don’t give two shits who your new ‘friends’ are, or what this bogus ‘truth’ is your talking about. Sounds to me like maybe you turned yellow.
Tyde: OH come on Tex, you know I am not scared of you. I have learned that maybe I am going about this the wrong way though. I mean maybe we are more kindred spirits than you or I ever thought. They say the definition of Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results. Of course you would know better than me right? From what I heard you’re an expert in the area of insanity.
Tex: What the hell does that mean!
Tyde: I mean come on Truth Teller! A time traveling cowboy? You can’t tell me that you expect anyone to buy that, do you? You know maybe we should get a second opinion, MAYBE we should ask Fiona Mercer!
As soon as the name is uttered you can see a wave of emotion fly over the face Tex, his eye twitches just a bit and within seconds he snaps. Hitting a large clothesline on Tyde, sending him down on the mat hard and following it up with a series of vicious boots. Tex picks him up and irish whips him hard into the turnbuckle. He walks over sending hard boots into the ribs of Tyde, as he does however Shante slides in and grabs him, turning him around. He pulls back to hit her but pauses when he sees her.
Glass: This is no time for some code of Chivalry Tex. Hit her before she sets your face on fire again!
Higgins: She is a competitor in the Combat ring and will not hesitate to lay you out, she proved that in the intergender tag match she wrestled last week alongside Tyde where she picked up the win with a vicious submission.
The hesitation for Tex to attack gives Tyde an opportunity to low blow Tex from behind. Sending him to his knees. Tyde then gets up and holds Tex’s arms behind him while Shante slaps him multiple times before picking up the mic and talking.
Shante: Mi Amore warned you cowboy, he told you we didn’t want to fight. No we want to break you, we want to show your darkness to the world and we want YOU to accept it. Stop running from who you really are! Look!
She points to the jumbotron where images begin to flash rapidly. Most of them are odd cryptic looking almost tribal symbols but mixed in with it are several pictures of an attractive woman. You can see Tex trying not to look while Tyde attempts to hold his head still. He begins to shout.
Tex: STOP IT STOP IT, I DIDN’T mean too!!
Higgins: What the hell is going on?! What is the meaning of all this?
After several seconds of this from the back runs the newest Combat Tag team, Bear-O-Dactyl! As they hit the ring, Tyde and Shante don’t hesitate to slide out before there is any physical altercation. The two check on Tex who seems to be almost in tears in the middle of the ring, rocking and confused babbling to himself like a madman.
Glass: Did Tyde just break Tex?! After weeks of trying to break him physically did he just do it mentally? I have no idea what this is all about but it seems like he is switching his focus up.
Higgins: Yea he has moved from guerilla warfare to psychological warfare and it seems to have a lot more effect at least at the moment.
-Mayhem Preview
Glass: Well before we go any further into our loaded card tonight let’s take a few minutes to get a look at what is coming up Monday from our partners over at Mayhem.
Higgins: They do have a loaded Card too!
We get a pictures of the Mayhem logo and the images of the matches pop up as Higgins gives a short summary of them.
Maverick Tatum, Eoin O’ Rourke and Justin York will take part in the K2S Ladder match and look to build more momentum before the big opportunity match but Tony Bird stands in their way as he looks to bounce back from a loss.
Liam Cain Looks to continue his winning streak toward the K2S Ladder match but the red-hot fan favorite Max Stone stands in his way as he looks to build more momentum towards his UK Championship match with Fred Debonair.
After being embarrassed last week by The World Heavyweight Champion Shaun Hart has called on The leader of The Purge Ryan Hawkins to challenge John Cavanagh for the World Heavyweight Championship in hopes he wins and turns Cavs dreams into Nightmares but the taste won’t be easy as John Cavanagh has defended his Championship multiple times against the best in IIW.
Glass: That is an exciting Card coming Monday but it’s time to get back to tonight, what do you say Alex?
Higgins: Yes we have already had so much action tonight and just getting into our second match but it’s one that has some major implications for Ground Zero!

(Uprising Number 1 Contender Match)
Glass: That’s right the winner of our next match becomes number one contender to the Uprising title and will go on to face Iron Wolf for the title on Ground Zero in just two weeks.
Higgins: Either man is a scary advisory as they both claim to come from different extremes. Silence, the all consuming monster from Hell while Cyrus claims to be sent to lead us to a knew promised land. Lets get to the ring and get it started.
The camera shifts back to the ring with Charity Langston ready for the next match of the night.
Charity: Our next match is for the number one contender ship for the Uprising Title. First coming to the ring THE SILENCE!!
Alongside the Captain we watch as the Silence marches towards the ring.
Charity: And his Opponent, Cyrus Youngblood!!
Broadway Girls by Lil Durk (ft. Morgan Wallace), hits and Cyrus walks out to lights out, and. a spotlight on him. He spreads his arms almost hug like before continuing to walk towards the ring. As he enters the ring, he falls to his knees and goes into a prayer position between leaning back and spreading his arms once again.
Glass: I do love his entrance.
Higgins: Here we go.
***Ding, Ding***
The silence goes after Youngblood as he hits him with a punch followed by a back elbow.
Higgins: The silence might be the type that does not talk much but his moves do all the talking that he needs.
Glass: I prefer people who talk but to each their own.
As Silence is putting another elbow into Youngblood, Youngblood turns Silence and throws him up against the ropes and hits a springboard reverse ddt on The Silence as the crowd goes wild. Silence might not say much but anyone can see the frustration on his face as he comes right back after Youngblood and catches him with a running ddt. Both men are laid out on the mat as the ref starts to count both men down.
Youngblood is the first to his feet as he grabs The Silence by his head and makes his way over to the turnbuckle where he begins to hit Silence’s head using the turnbuckle to his advantage. He then tosses The Silence up against the ropes and catches The Silence with a knee balanced Enzuguri as he comes back off the ropes. Youngblood goes for the pin but The Silence breaks out after a count of one and a half.
Higgins: I don’t blame Youngblood, he wants to make quick work of The Silence.
Glass: I would too. Nothing against a guy who does not speak, I mean he is intimidating enough but at the end of the day Youngblood is here and out to make a name for himself.
The two men have locked up once again with The Silence taking the advantage this time as he lifts Youngblood up for a sidewalk slam. The Silence quickly follows up with a leg drop and goes for the cover, but Youngblood kicks out after a one count by the ref. None the less that does not seem to phase The Silence as he picks Youngblood up and gives an attempt at hitting Nightmare Arrival but Youngblood moves out of the way just in time and quickly gets behind The Silence and begins to deliver, Deliverance.
We can see that The Silence is quite shaken up as Youngblood hits the final backdrop driver on him. The crowd has no idea if they want to cheer or boo Youngblood and he seems to not truly care one way or another.
Higgins: Cyrus is looking to be in full control of this match.
Glass: Damn right, and the crowd seems to love it
Cyrus picks The Silence up and attempts to apply an arm breaker, but The Silence is just about too big as he catches Cyrus into a choke hold and slams him down to the ground. The Silence quickly remains on the offense as he once again gets ahold of Cyrus but Cyrus reverses and hits the silence with a spinning elbow attack. As the silence goes staggering back, Cyrus catches him with the gate keeper.
Higgins: Beautiful move but it looks like Cyrus isn’t done.
He sets The Silence up and locks in the awakening. The silence taps out as the bell rings and Cyrus’ hand is raised up in victory.
***Ding, Ding***
Charity: Your winner by Submission and Number one Contender for the Uprising Title, Cyrus YoungBlood!!
As Cyrus celebrates we head backstage where we see the medical team with Tex who has gone from broken to visually angry as he argues with the doctors trying to help him. Along with them is General Manager Kalvin Dayspring.
-Eye for an Eye
(featuring Tex Attwater)
Dayspring: You have to calm down and let the doctors do their job Tex.
Tex: I’m damn tired of this whole mess and I am ready to do my job and tear that bastard Tyde apart piece to piece.
Dayspring: That is coming on Ground Zero you just have..
Tex: No disrespect Mister Dayspring but if you don’t give me a chance to get him in the ring tonight I am going to find him myself and rip his head right that big dumb body of his.
The doctor speaks up.
Doctor: I mean I wouldn’t advise it but honestly there is nothing medically I can do to stop him from wrestling Kalvin, it’s been over a month he is ahead of schedule. I would want two more weeks but I can’t keep him out of the ring.
Tex: You heard the doc! Give him to me tonight and Ground Zero I’ll enjoy beating his arse twice.
Dayspring: Actually he is out there in the ring claiming to have friends, and obviously Bear-O-Dactyl! Was kind enough to come to your aid despite only being here to sign their new Combat contract, but if he wants a match I say you and Bear-O-Dactyl! Get ready and Tyde can get his new buddies and we will have a 6 man tag team match later TONIGHT!
Tex: Hell it’s better than nothing, whatever it takes to get my hands on that varmint I am down.
Dayspring: Then it’s a match. I’ll get word to Tyde to get his friends together, if they really exist because it’s official!
The scene returns to ringside with Higgins and Glass. The crowd behind them is loud as the commentators start to speak.
Higgins: Well guys it looks like we have another MAJOR match for later tonight as Tex and his two new friends and NEW Combatants Bear-O-Dactyl! Join forces with Tyde and his mystery partner we saw him speaking to earlier tonight.
Glass: You would assume we will see Tyde and Shante together once again and the mystery figure from earlier but honestly that is if the mystery person really exists, or is even a wrestler! It will be exciting to see how this plays out and to finally see Tex and Tyde in a ring together.
Higgins: That is right but another just as exciting match is set up next as two Siege Perilous competitors step into action one on one as the Uprising Champion Iron Wolf prepares to battle “The Alpha” himself Andre Cash. Now this is NOT a Uprising title match but you would have to think if Cash picks up a win it would have to put him in position for a shot in the near future.
Glass: I totally agree, but the time of what ifs and maybes are over. Charity is in the ring and the match is getting ready to happen. Let’s go to the ring!

The view switches to the ring where we see Charity with a big smile on her face as she starts the match announcements.
Charity: Ladies and Gentlemen our next bout is scheduled for one fall. First coming to the ring from Marietta, Georgia standing at 6 foot 6 inches tall and weighing in at 297 pounds he is THE ALPHA, Andre Cash!!!
‘Killer’ by Eminem blasts over the speakers as the fans let out a loud reaction, there is a long pause before Andre appears at the top of the entrance ramp. He takes a few seconds looking down at the ground as pyro explodes in front of him, once it finishes he shouts loudly jumping in the air as he does before marching to the ring.
Charity: His opponent, and standing 6 foot 2 inches he is THE FRIDAY NIGHT COMBAT UPRISING CHAMPION! He is THE IRON WOLF!!
The pyro blast from the entrance ramp as a large howl is projected from the PA system, the fans in the live audience join in before the somber tune of “Iron Wolf” by Beastwars takes over the PA system. It takes a few seconds before he appears at the entrance ramp, letting out his own large howl echoed throughout the arena once more. His title strapped around his waist he snarls and growls as he makes his way up the entrance ramp.
Higgins: Once again I must stress this is a non title match between these two Combatants tonight! Still you would have to think that if Cash pulls off a win it would have serious title implications down the road.
Glass: I am just excited to see these two heavy handed men get in the ring and beat the living hell out of each other. Despite coming up short in Siege Perilous these two are still some of the most talented athletes in our industry today!
***Ding, Ding***
The two men circle each other for a few moments before locking up in the center of the ring. They push each other back and forth gaining advantage on one another until finally Cash forces Wolf hard into the corner. Cash then lowers his shoulder and holds on to the ropes as he rams his shoulder into the midsection of Wolf. After about three times however Wolf begins to give some stiff forearm shots into the back Cash causing him to pause for a few seconds. During this time Wolf locks in a front headlock on the bigger man.
Glass: The Champ likes to brawl, he likes to throw those big meat hooks of his, and wear down his opponent but that is going to be hard to do with a man as strong and just physically thick as Andre Cash. This front headlock is a good way to try to cut off the oxygen to the big man and wear him down, slowing down the match and giving control to the champ.
Higgins: Wolf isn’t known to be the most technically sound but neither is Andre. Both men are strong brawlers so if Wolf can use what he does know to his advantage it could be the difference in this match up.
Wolf switches from the front to the side headlock as he pulls him away from the corner and keeps a wide base to try to keep the bigger man down. After a few moments of applying pressure Cash drops to one knee. Wolf starts to get impatient and begins sending a few full fist blows into the top of Cash’s head. The ref warns him so he stops. Eventually however Cash begins to get his second wind and grabs Wolf lifting him high into the air and hitting a massive back suplex that shakes the entire ring.
Glass: And there is the POWER of the Alpha, Iron Wolf is not a small man but despite having him locked tightly into a side headlock Cash was able to lift Wolf high above his head to break the hold.
Higgins: Now it’s just time to see if he can capitalize on the move.
Cash and Wolf both come to their feet at about the same time, Wolf making the first move charging at Cash who notices it just in time to hit a big back body drop over the top rope that sends him crashing hard onto the floor outside the ring. The fans let out a loud pop as he hits the ground hard. Cash doesn’t hesitate to follow him to the floor outside. He jerks Wolf up to his feet and sends him crashing hard into the steel steps knocking them apart as he does.
Higgins: Both these men are dangerous on the outside of the ring, we saw what sort of damage these brawlers could do last week in Siege Perilous but the match can’t be won out here so Cash needs to take this back in the ring if he wants to pick up this win.
Glass: I can’t pretend to know what is going through the mind of a monster like but I am sure that after what we saw in Siege Perilous both him and wolf can take some damage and dish it out.
Cash takes a few steps back to get a running start charging at Wolf. Wolf however is not as down as he appears and moves out of the way sending Cash crashing into the outside of the ring apron. He staggers backwards as Wolf grabs him and slams him head first into the apron again, Wolf then spins him around and swings with a wild haymaker but Cash blocks and lifts him hitting the ‘Cash-Out’ (Spinning Uranage) on Wolf landing him hard on the ring apron. He staggers back himself a few steps leaning up against the barricade. As he does he notices Sean Raines sitting right in front of him. Cash pauses and looks at him for a second before grabbing the drink from the man next to him and tossing it in the face of Raines.
Higgins: What on earth is Cash thinking?! He knows what sort of loose cannon Raines has been in the past month. Why would he do this?
Glass: Andre is one of the pillars here on Combat. Maybe he, like a lot of the roster, has taken offense to what Raines is doing. Maybe he is trying to make a statement to Sean Raines about whose show this is.
As Cash turns to walk away, Raines quickly stands up and grabs his own chair and slams it across the back of Cash, sending him flying forward. He hops the barricade again as he goes for the big man. He rolls Cash under the bottom rope and into the ring.
Higgins: Oh now here we go again!
Glass: At least we understand why he is attacking Cash this time, I am personally just glad it makes sense for once.
The security however had been heightened as they quickly rushed down and began trying to pull him away and down the ramp. Wolf is up at this point and heads back in the ring seemingly unaware of what had happened he turns his attention back to Cash who is now dazed trying to get up to his feet in the middle of the ring. When Cash is on his knees Wolf bounces off the ropes and hits the ‘Dirty Stomp’ (Curb Stomp) onto him sending him face first hard into the mat. He goes for the pin and the ref counts
.1,
..2,
.. KICK OUT!!
Wolf gets to his feet and lets out a big howl as Andre staggers up a bit, Wolf bounces off the ropes and leaps into the air hitting the ‘Wolf Bite’ (superman punch) he then goes for the cover again.
.1,
..2,
…3!!
***Ding, Ding***
Charity: Your winner by pin fall IRON WOLF!!
Higgins: I don’t think Wolf realized what happened but he took advantage of it and picks up the win here!
Glass: They still haven’t got Raines restrained this isn’t over yet!
-Monster Brawl
Raines finally breaks free of the security and slides in the ring. He goes over to Cash and lays a few hard boots into him before dragging him up and positioning him for the ‘Skyfall’ (double arm brainbuster) however when he goes to lift him Cash uses his power to lift him into the air and toss him over him onto the mat. Cash drops down to one knee for a second before turning back towards Raines who is up on his feet again.
Glass: This one is different Raines, he’s not like Tolly and Phoenix. Cash isn’t going out without a fight!
Higgins: He may of bitten off more than he can chew at this point, Cash is THE ALPHA of Combat and he is pissed that Raines just cost him the match!
Cash and Raines begin to brawl with each other but Raines sends a stiff kick into the balls of Cash to cause the man to stagger backwards. Raines the levels him with a big boot sending him hard to the mat. The security swarm Raines and begin to pull him to the back as Andre is still staggered in the ring.
Glass: I don’t think this is over yet but we got to get to the back Kalvin Dayspring is about to address the situation with the Television Title!
-TV Title Dilemma
The view switches backstage to what appears to be a large office of some sort. The large desk in the center of the shot with Kalvin Dayspring sitting behind it. He has a serious look on his face as he clears his throat before he speaks.
Dayspring: Last week we had our first ever Siege Perilous match, a brutal ordeal that saw our current Television Champion also be crowned our first ever Global Champion. Now typically in IIW talent doesn’t hold two titles so I had a bit of a decision to make in regards to the Television Championship.
He pauses for a few seconds and looks over some documents on his desk before continuing.
Dayspring: Since Caleb has shown up on Combat he has claimed that this is his show, so instead of stripping him from the title I have decided to make him put his money where his mouth is. On Ground Zero Caleb Scott will once again walk in as both TV and Global Champion and he will DEFEND his Television Championship against TJ Alexander at the start of the show.
The fans let out a loud cheer that can be heard over the feed as he continues.
Dayspring: But you see Caleb is a double champ, so if TJ manages to defeat him this will also give him claim as number one contender to the Global Championship. If TJ manages to win the TV title at the start of the show he will get a shot at Caleb’s Global Championship THAT VERY same night, in the MAIN EVENT of Ground Zero!
The fans once again erupt at the decisions as Dayspring continues.
Dayspring: So it is very possible that we will see Caleb Scott versus TJ Alexander not once, but TWICE on Ground Zero. If this is your show Caleb, this is your chance to prove it and if not TJ has a chance to take everything from you. See you both at Ground Zero.
We’re taken to a view of our announcers at ringside as we continue a barnburner edition of IIW Combat. Alex Higgins and Arthur B. Glass look back at the crowd, breaking out in an out of nowhere “BEAR-A-DACTYL!” chant. Alex can’t help but crack, chuckling at their display of enthusiasm while ABG feigns playful disgust and shakes his head. Both men smile again as they turn back to face the cameras.
Higgins: I can not believe what I just heard! So on Ground Zero we might get a double dose of the Champ defending not one, but both his titles!
Glass: That’s right! But that also means TJ Alexander could walk out as a double champion! This could be crazy!
-Remember This
(featuring Alex Kincaid)
The lights suddenly dim inside the Bridgestone Arena and both men look around puzzled. The camera pulls back to a wider view of the entrance ramp, as suddenly some pounding drums hit the speakers. A moment later and the longtime wrestling fans in the crowd recognize the grinding opening guitar to “Storm Eagle”. Dozens of fans rise to their feet all over the arena as orange lights begin pulsing all over the building. Moments later, the curtain whips open and – for the first time in months – Alex Kincaid walks into a wrestling arena!
Higgins: Oh my god! Well, I guess you never know what to expect here on Combat! Did you know he was going to be here tonight?
Glass: I don’t think anyone knew! And if you look at the people, no one is more surprised than they are!
Alex Kincaid heads down the ramp, an easy grin on his face as he looks back and forth at the cheering crowd. One particularly rowdy group of fans in the front row reach out for him and he slaps hands with a few of them before he walks by and continues on to the ring. Then he looks back, the grin cracking into an even wider smile, and he suddenly bolts toward the barricade. He rests his back against the barrier, spreading his arms wide and letting the people around him clap hands on his shoulders and chant his name toward the camera. He breaks away with a quick high five to another fan and then turns back toward the ring, jogging the last couple of steps and lightly jumping from the floor to the apron.
Higgins: One of the most in demand free agents in the wrestling world! ‘Infinite’ Alex Kincaid! A showstopper, a highlight real performer, one of the most prolific wrestlers of his generation!
Glass: Five years ago the idea of him being embraced by the fans like that would seem impossible, but over the last few long, hard years he’s won the people over. And I haven’t seen anyone look this happy to be in a wrestling ring in a very long time.
Kincaid paces around the ring and heads to the corner. He closes his eyes and lets his head lull back, soaking in the reaction of the Nashville crowd. When he opens his eyes he seems a bit overcome. He requests a microphone from a ringside attendant and makes his way back to the corner. He hops up the turnbuckle and takes a seat on the top rope, grinning again as he offers his first words to the fans in a very long time.
Kincaid: You know, before I came out here I said to my wife…what if they don’t remember me? I guess I didn’t have to worry.
With that, there’s another roar from the crowd that turns into a light chanting of his name. He smiles and nods along with it for a few moments before he continues speaking.
Kincaid: I don’t think that’ll ever get old. I’m still not used to it. You now, for so long, for so many years I made my living pissing you guys off. I made my living spitting in your eye. And sometimes, you know, I look back at some of the things I said – at some of the fights I picked – and I think…look this is what it is. These are the fights I have to pick. I wouldn’t change all of them. Some of them were the right call. A couple of you knew that, because a couple of you came along for the ride. Maybe you don’t know who I am. Maybe you’re an IIW fan, but not necessarily an Alex Kincaid fan. Maybe that reaction confuses you? Maybe you’re going ‘who the hell is this guy?’
There is the lightest smattering of boos at this implication and he shrugs.
Kincaid: It happens. Who is Alex Kincaid? I’m a guy who picks fights. I’m a guy who picks the battles no one else wants to because it’s the right thing to do. Win, lose or draw. Whether you like me, or you hate me, you will never see anybody walk through this ring who will be as honest with you as I will be. I have always lived my life in front of you, I have always been honest about who I am and who I wanted you people to be. And I’ve been lucky to see some of you embrace that. I’ve been lucky enough to see some of you get on board with me. Last time I walked away I thought it was for good, I thought I’d be leaving all of you behind. And I tried. I tried SO hard to just walk away and be a regular guy. Be a husband. Be a father. Do the things that you’re supposed to do at my age instead of flying off the top rope and smashing my already banged up knees in even worse…but every night when I went to bed, I’d stare up at the ceiling and I’d think…
He loses the words for a minute. He frowns and hops off the turnbuckle, pacing around the ring again. He rests his hands on the ropes and looks right at the camera.
Kincaid: I can’t give this up. That’s what it is. People want to be world champion, they want to be stars, they want to be all sorts of things…I don’t know when I’ll be satisfied. But I know I’m not satisfied YET. I know I’m not happy YET. Last time, when I walked away from this thing I thought I was done but there’s a part of me that’s always gnawing to be set free and that part of me is never going to be satisfied if that’s how I let this story end. So yeah, yeah, it’s everything you’ve hoped for if you’re an Alex Kincaid fan: I am BACK. And I am back to doing the things I’ve always done. To be a thorn in the side of everyone back there in that locker room who wants to exploit our beautiful industry, to make my coworkers who want to wrestle with honor rise to the occasion and most of all to make all of you remember what this thing is supposed to be!
The last words come with a sudden turn to the camera and a rise in his voice that becomes an impassioned yell. He paces back and forth again, faster and faster as the hype inside him rises.
Kincaid: The Alex Kincaid story isn’t over yet! If you’re back there, if you’re in that locker room, and you’re going ‘Who’s this guy talking shit, I’m not scared of him’ than you haven’t been paying attention! This is the night IIW changes. This is the night Combat becomes even more must see than it already was after 8 of the toughest bastards on earth put themselves through hell to become champ. Starting tonight, this locker room is operating on an entirely different level…whether they like it or not!
With that final, defiant claim he slams the microphone down on the apron and heads to the corner. Storm Eagle hits the speakers again. He climbs to the second rope, roaring out at the fans and spreading his arms wide as they cheer him on.
Higgins: Now THAT is the Alex Kincaid fans will remember! He’s fired up!
Glass: Big claims, big talk, Kincaid has just written one hell of a check and we’ll see over the next few weeks if he can cash it in!
Higgins: We can only hope for the best but right now Ally Anderson is backstage with Aaliyah Landerson to get a quick word about her match last week
-Not finished yet
(featuring Aaliyah Landerson / Shante’ Waverly)
Kincaid hops down and starts making his way up the aisle with cheering fans all over the building chanting his name the view then transitions to the back with Ally Anderson who is sitting next to Aaliyah Landerson. Ally smiles as she addresses Aaliyah.
Ally: Miss Landerson it’s my pleasure to have you with me today. Last week you made your Combat debut in a losing effort. A tag team match with your father against the likes of Jack Tyde and Shante’ Waverly. Shante made you tap at the end of the match, I am curious about your thoughts in general about Combat and Miss Waverly who has made her presence felt across the show as she continues to aid Tyde in making Tex Attwater’s life a living hell.
Aaliyah: Thank you Ally. Honestly last week wasn’t my best showing but I am sure that in a fair one on one match I could take Shante’ and honestly it’s time someone did.
Before anything else can be said out of no wear a large vase comes into view and breaks across Aaliyah’s head sending her hard to the ground once the impact happens you can hear the maddening cackle of Shante as she now enters the shot. She smiles and licks her lips.
Shante’: Oh Poor baby Landerson. You think someone should shut me up? Why don’t you try then? On Ground Zero I would love to put you in your place, that is if you’re not scared.
She stomps her once more and turns to Ally, winking at her before walking off. Ally calls for the medical staff as they come rushing to check on Aaliyah before the scene cuts back to ringside.

Higgins: Well it doesn’t seem like we can go 10 minutes without Tyde or Shante causing some sort of chaos around here, first they come out and torture Tex and now it seems that Shante wants to make a target out of Aaliyah Landerson!
Glass: That may be true and if I was Aaliyah I wouldn’t show up for Ground Zero. Shante is a freaking crazy devil lady!
Higgins: That she is but up next is her friend Jack Tyde and his two partners against Tex Attwater and the team of Bear-O-Dactyl! I think most people assume that one of his partners is Shante but she didn’t seem to be getting ready for a match.
Glass: Well we don’t have much longer to wait. Charity is in the ring and ready to get this started.
The view switches to the ring once again as Charity Langston begins the match announcements.
Charity: The next bout is a Six man tag team match up and is scheduled for one fall! First coming to the ring, the tag team of Bear-O-Dactyl
As the ring announcer finishes up, a booming voice from nowhere fills the arena, like an excited chihuahua with no social filter, the unseen speaker tries to sound tough despite the like a childlike inflection to his voice.
Lil’ MC : Yo! Yo! Yo! You ’bout to witness a Mother Fucking Origin Story, let’s go!
The house light’s dim as ‘The Motherfucking Pterodactyl’ by Sarah Donner and The Oatmeal starts to play. Fans, especially the younger ones, begin clapping along to the silly, but infectious beat of the song. Spotlights pan across the crowd and strobe lights fill the arena.
He is the Motherfucking Pterodactyl
Here to
Ptear you a nnnnnneeeeewww… asshole
The spotlights settle on the stage as Union Jack and Pequeño Dinosaurio burst through the curtain to an explosion of green, blue and red pyro.
Lil’ MC follows Jack and Dinosaurio out through the curtain and excitedly does a lap of the stage, stopping in both corners to rhythmically thrust his hips and shake his little rubber penis toward the crowd.
Yes, it’s true
He ate 10,000 lightning bugs
Kissing his bowels like a million hugs
He shat them oooouuuuut
One phosphorescent night
Painting it like
Christmas liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggghhhts
Jack is hyping up his partner, whipping the crowd into a frenzy.
The small bear drops to his knees and skids across the stage, stopping right in front of the ramp before the Luchadors.
He is the Motherfucking Pterodactyl
Here to
Ptear you a nnnnnneeeeewww… asshole
He pops up to his feet and starts furiously strumming the plastic penis that hangs from the front of his costume, the sound of the little bell amplified by the megaphone he is holding close to his crotch.
Yes, it’s true
His plumage is the best in town
All the hoooeees
Touch his sexy Pteroid bone, oh!
Yes he do put the T-rex to shame
His pussy arms on that
Puuuuusssssy frrrrraaaaame
Oh!
Both Union Jack and Pequeño Dinosaurio rush forward and leap over Lil’ MC. Jack performs a split leg jump, while Dinosaurio dives under Jack’s legs but over Lil’ MC’s head.
He is the Motherfucking Pterodactyl
Here to
Ptear you a nnnnnneeeeewww… asshole
Dinosaurio lands a split second before Jack, rolling once to clear the shared landing spot just as Jack sticks the landing where his partner had been.
Yes, it’s true
He enjoys his hobbies too
He smokes his pipe
Rollerblades and finds ladies to woo, oh!
The two members of Bear-O-dactyl sprint down the ramp toward the ring with Lil’ MC following as fast as he can.
Yes, it’s true
He rode with the Triassic crew
That includes Lystrosaurus, and Plateosaurus, toooooo
Ooh, ooh, ooh
Reaching the ring, both men leap from the floor to the ring apron before bounding over the top rope to enter the ring.
He is the Motherfucking Pterodactyl
Here to
Ptear you a nnnnnneeeeewww… asshole
Both men go to opposite corners, posing for the loudly cheering crowd and hit all for corners in turn, playing up to the raucous reaction.
He is awkward on the floor
His feet are shit and
His balance quite poor
Lil MC rounds the outside, high-fiving anyone willing to reach out a hand.
He hooked up with a grizzly bear
They made love under the sea, and everrryyyyywhere
Continuing to pose, the crowd is laughing and eating it up. Both men look ready for action despite the fun loving attitude and unique entrance.
Yes that bear gave birth to a Motherfucking Bear-o-dactyl
Who just might tear you a new…
So beware, motherfuckers, beeewwwaaaarrreeeee!
He is the Motherfucking Pterodactyl
He is the Motherfucking Pterodactyl
Remember him
Remember his song
Remember his tire iron and
His enccccchhhhanting thong
Both men move toward their corner and, after briefly conferring, one of them steps through to the outside.
He is the Motherfucking Pterodactyl!
Charity: Their partner for the night, from McAllen, Texas he is ‘The Texas Truth Teller” Tex Attwater!!
‘Cowboy’ by Kid Rock blasts over the PA as Pyro explodes on either side of the ramp. Tex emerges without his normal pleasant look as he marches to the ring to join his partners for the night in Bear-O-Dactyl!
Charity: And their opponents for the night, from the Briney Depth it is JACK TYDE!!
The lights dim and turn red as fog slowly begins to roll out at the top of the entrance ramp. Over the PA ‘Alestorm’ by Alestorm begins to blast and as the rock music plays the fans let out a chorus of boos.
Go! A Storm is coming
The cold is mind numbing
Darkness is descending
Die, there’s no escaping
We’re all anticipating
Smashing your brains tonight!
As the lyrics are heard we can see a figure slowly emerge from below the entrance ramp. As he raises his large frame comes into focus as we see Jack Tyde.
Higgins: Shante isn’t with him, so I wonder who on earth his partner could be?
Glass: The shadowy figure he talked to backstage might have been the janitor as far as we know! He could be going into this all alone.
Higgins: I highly doubt he is alone, if anything Shante is lurking in some corner somewhere waiting to shoot a fireball at Tex and Bear-O-Dactyl!
Tyde pauses at the top of the entrance ramp as the lights return to normal. You can see a devilish smile across his face as he turns and looks back at the entrance. The lights dim ever so slightly and “When the man comes down” by Robert J. Walsh hits the speaker system. Sebastian Hamilton steps out from behind the curtain dressed head to toe in formal attire consisting of a three piece suit, with tie and a long thick black tweed coat and just stops at the top of the ramp, his brothers Edward and Benjamin standing behind him.
Higgins: It’s the Hamilton Establishment! Has there been some sort of unholy alliance made here?! What sort of dark bargain could they have struck?
Glass: I don’t know but he seems to have more than enough backup now, it will be entrancing to see which two actually teams with him. And if they can work together, I managed a lot of teams back in my day and chemistry is something that can sometimes be hard to muster. So with both these teams it will be interesting to see how Tex is able to work with Bear-O-Dactyl! And how Tyde can co exist with the Hamilton establishment.
There is a nod of acknowledgement between Tyde and Sebastian and a few seconds later from the back emerges Shante who lets off an evil cackle as the 5 marches down towards the ring. We see Benjamin and Edward prepare for combat by taking off their jackets and they join Tyde
***Ding, Ding***
Union Jack and Edward Hamilton start the match off as the rest of the two teams take their positions on the ring aprons. Jack and Edward lock up with Jack getting and early advantage switching behind Edward and placing him in a hammerlock. Edward throws a few back elbows to the side of Jack’s head to loosen the hold but Jack manages to hold on long enough to lift Edward up with a back suplex and send him hard to the mat. Jack then bounces off the ropes and hits a jumping knee drop to the downed Edward. He then pops up to bounce off the ropes again but this time Shante grabs hold of his foot. He struggles to get her to let go but by that time Edward has recovered a bit and gets behind him to roll him up for a quick pin attempt.
.1,
.. Kick out!
As both men start to get up Edward explodes forward with a clothesline sending Jack back down hard to the mat. You can see Pequeno and Tex slamming their hands on the top turnbuckle and trying to get the fans behind them. Edward picks Jack back up and tosses him hard into his team’s corner where he tags his brother Benjamin in. The two brothers then begin to stomp a mud hole in Jack before the ref forces Edward out the ring. Benjamin pulls Jack out of the corner and wraps him up hitting the ‘Cutthroat Business’ (Double knee backbreaker) on him and goes for another cover.
.. Kick out!
Benjamin doesn’t slow his attack as he puts his foot on Jack’s throat and stands on it choking him, holding the top rope to add pressure. The ref tries to get him to stop and then gives the mandatory 5 count which Benjamin lets go at 4 and then reaches out to tag Tyde in. The big Tyde leaps over the top rope and into the ring continuing the boots on the downed Jack.
Glass: And the Hamilton Establishment is showing their versatile offense and blood thirsty nature. They never got featured much on Mayhem but these two are one of the most talented tag teams in the industry today.
Higgins: This match is young and you can’t count Bear-O-Dactyl! and Tex out yet but at the same time this new alliance has a big numbers advantage with both Shante’ and Sebastian lingering around outside the ring.
Tyde picks up Jack and tosses him back into the corner as he does he signals to the sky and takes a few steps back to the middle of the ring. Here he gets a running start and hits the Cannonball in the corner. He then picks up Jack and puts him in a powerbomb position he flips him up but as he does Jack seems to catch his second wind and begins to send a few hard lefts into the head of Tyde. This staggers Tyde just long enough for Jack to hit a hurricanrana on him. Both men down on the ground their corners begin to shout and urge them to make a tag. The fans are clearly behind Jack.
Higgins: This is a chance for Jack to make a hot tag and get a fresh guy in and he really needs it.
Glass: Yea this could be an important turning point in the match!
As the two men get up and jack begins to crawl to his corner Tyde instead turns and grabs Jack by the foot pulling him backwards and closer to the enemy corner. Tyde then reach outs and tags in Benjamin again. Tyde is holding on to Jack as Benjamin climbs the top rope and jumps off with a Missile Dropkick. However before he lands Jack hits a few elbows to break the hold and moves out of the way just in time causing Benjamin to hit Tyde instead sending Tyde backwards and over the top rope. Jack then quickly turns and almost jumps into the corner and makes the hot tag to Tex who comes in hot. Benjamin charges at Tex who is ready and sends a couple of stiff lefts into the head of Benjamin driving him back up against the ropes. Edward is quickly in the ring to back up his brother but as he charges at Tex, Tex is ready and hits a big spinebuster on him sending him down. Benjamin is back on attack and attempts a kick but Tex catches it and pulls him to the ground grabbing his other foot and shouting to the crowd as he hits his ‘Last Rodeo’ (Big Swing) on Benjamin going round and around.
Glass: If the team of Tyde and the Establishment don’t regroup quick this could be the start of the end for them
Tyde slides in under the bottom and hits Tex in the back to break up the big swing as soon as he hits Tex however Dinosaurio springboards over the top rope and hits a bulldog on Tyde sending him down on the mat. Dinosaurio kips up and once Tyde staggers up he is ready as he hits the Dinosaur Drop (Sliced Bread #2) the ref is trying to take control of the match and forces everyone out of the ring except for Benjamin and Tex the two legal men. Tex picks up Benjamin but Benjamin hits a low blow on him sending him down to the mat. Benjamin then heads to his corner to tag Tyde in, by the time he is in Tex is up and the two have a moment staring at each other the fans begin to chant.
TEX, TEX, TEX, TEX
As the two look like they are about to go the Jumbotron begins to flash and the same video from earlier with the random girls face and other various cryptic images begin to flash. Tex freezes as he starts to shake and scream ‘No, NO, NO’ at the images. You can see Bear-O-Dactyl! both confused but Pequeno manages to stretch out and tag himself in as he charges at Tyde and hits an onslaught of chops and punches on the much bigger Tyde. As Tyde staggers backwards he bounces off the ropes and hits a spinning head scissors on Tyde sending him to the ground he then picks up Tyde tossing him into the corner and tagging in Jack.
Higgins: I have no idea what that video is about or what kind of hold it has on Tex but he is still shell shocked on the outside of the ring and this has almost turned into a handicap match.
Glass: Yea but one that Bear-O-Dactyl! is taking control of at the moment.
Jack grabs Tyde for a Tombstone as Pequeno springboards over the ropes and they hit the ‘Extinction Event’ (Meltzer Driver) on Tyde and Jack goes for the pin.

..
Before the ref gets to three however Sebastian slides in under the rope with a Chair in his hand and slams it hard into the back of Pequeno. The ref instantly calls for the bell.

Higgins: What the hell just happened?! Bear-O-Dactyl! had the match won!
Jack quickly goes to his partners aid but both the other members of the Establishment is in and hit with a clothesline to stop him. Hamilton follows up with a stiff chair shot. Shante’ tosses a chair in from the outside as she joins the group. Sebastian and Tyde set up the chairs facing each other as Edward and Benjamin grabs Union Jack and hit ‘London Calling’ on him right on top of the chairs. Lil’ MC manages to snap Tex out of his daze and Tex quickly rushes in to help. The Five in the ring start circle him and Tyde just smiles and waves goodbye and without laying a hand on him the Hamilton Establishment, Tyde and Shante all exit the ring and walk up the ramp together.
Higgins: What the hell was that?! After a month of beating and battering Tex, Tyde and his new friends decide NOT to even lay a hand on Tex after they beat up Bear-O-Dactyl!
-Byrd’s Eye View
(featuring Sean Raines / Andre Cash)
The lights in the arena are dimmed as a spotlight hits the center of the ring. We see Jason Byrd standing in front of his Podium with a big smile on his face as he begins to speak.
Byrd: Nashville, Tennessee are you ready! Are you ready to hear the ground breaking, earth shattering truth?! Because it is I, the one and only Jason Byrd who has his eyes laser focused on everything that happens backstage in the wrestling industry. The man who knows everyone and everything that is happening in our industry and comes out each and every Combat to give you just a small taste of my immense knowledge and tonight, tonight we will explore a topic that even I, the great all knowing Jason Byrd is ignorant about.
He pauses as the fans react as he slowly shakes his head. The lights return to normal as he takes the mic off his podium and lifts up a folder holding it high above his head.
Byrd: You see tonight I will gain the knowledge that has been fleeting for the past month and I shall do it right in front of you. Instead of reporting news tonight we shall make the news! In my hand is a Contract, but not just any contract it is one for the elusive, enigmatic Sean Raines. A man who has terrorized this company since we started this year! The contract isn’t just a normal one however, it is one that will allow him to PICK his first opponent for Ground Zero in Charlotte! That’s right, we all agree there must be some reason, some target that Raines is hunting for and this is his quick ticket to that! So everyone take a deep breath as I invite my personal guest for Byrd’s eye view out SEAN RAINES!!!!
Higgins: Raines was taken out by security earlier after his brawl with Cash ringside, I guess he is still backstage but will he even come out?
Glass: If Byrd doesn’t know what his motive is no one does, so we can only hope. I just hope for Jason’s sake that he doesn’t decide to hit the Skyfall on Jason right on top of that goofy podium of his.
Nothing happens at first as Byrd takes a deep breath and speaks again,
Byrd: Come on Sean! Come out here and give the people what they want, sign with combat and pick your first opponent! Do it LIVE on Byrd’s eye view!!
As the live crowd looks around, not knowing if or where Sean Raines is going to come from, Raines makes an appearance onto the stage.
Raines steps out, stopping just feet from the entrance. Dressed in jeans and a red t-shirt, plastic cup of beer in his right hand. Raines takes a moment to look around at the crowd, with a cold emotionless stare across his face. He takes a quick drink from the cup, once again looking around and he starts making his way down to ringside. Raines makes his way down the ramp, not really making any kind of facial expression, and not acknowledging the lively crowd against the guardrail. Raines is obviously on a mission, he looks like he has something to say. As Raines reaches ringside he turns towards the ring steps. As he steps on the second of three stairs he takes the last drink from his cup and tosses the cup into the crowd. Stepping up onto ringside he steps through the ropes and stops. Looking around at the live crowd that is now going crazy, they are clearly excited about what the world is about to find out.
Byrd: Ladies and gentlemen! I would like you to join me in welcoming this man. The man who has shown up week, after week, only to attack and take out a member of the IIW Combat roster. We are hoping tonight to get some answers, answers to questions that we all have. Mr. Raines, we are all wanting to know, why are you here? Why are you taking out roster members, in what can only be described as a completely random pattern.
Raines takes a deep breathe. Giving Jason Byrd an annoyed look, he reluctantly takes the mic.
Raines: First off Jason. I think you are a complete fucking waste of air. I think you are the worst type of scum, even lower than that shit stain in wrestling boots John Tolly, even lower than the Anthony Phoenix. Hell even lower than so many names on this roster that are still on my hit list. I’ve been roaming through the halls of every arena….
Raines turns towards the ropes pointing towards the front row
Raines: I have sat right fucking there!
Raines turns back towards Byrd.
Raines: I have been here each and every week! And each and every week all you dumb ass mother fuckers ask me the same fucking question. Why is Sean Raines here? Why is Sean Raines attacking people? Why is Sean Raines not signed to Combat?
Raines looks around at the crowd once again, before continuing.
Raines: And all you fucking people are looking for answers. Well let’s get something straight, I don’t give two fucks about what the lackies are wanting, or what the fuckwits in the offices want. I couldn’t give less of a shit that they are getting pissed off that I keep taking people out. For the reasons have nothing to do with any of them. No, the reasons all pertain to why I got into this industry in the first place. Some of you out there, you know Sean Raines. You have been around from day one. Others know me from my years of jumping fed to fed busting heads and causing the carnage that I have become known for. Many of you have seen the many, many years that I have spent inside a ring just like this, bleeding and busting my ass to bring you exactly what it is that you paid your hard earned money to sit in those seats and see!
Raines points out at the crowd with his left hand as he continues to hold the mic in the right.
Raines: You people. Each and every one of you. The ass in the seats! The people who paid for the experience to sit in front of this ring, under all of these lights. To see some great matches and amazing moments that will leave you talking about them for days, week, and in some cases years. I have never been known to do anything half assed! But I have been known to jump around, forever moving and bringing the fight anywhere I go. Many years ago I came to IIW, but I always ended up wondering once again, this time I found myself being intrigued by a secondary show that has popped up under the IIW banner. What would this new show bring? Would it bring action? Would it bring excitement? Would it bring out the best in the entire roster? Sadly no. That first night, I showed up backstage, and I saw what was heading towards failure. Too many spots on the roster, filled with what can only be described as the weak. Those people who do not hold their own. They do not bring any money to the show. They don’t put any asses in the seats! Now don’t get me wrong, this roster is full of some great talent. The roster being put together, they have the ability to put on some great shows. But unfortunately, not everyone is pulling their weight, and that had to be addressed.
The crowd goes wild once again, chanting over and over again Raines! Raines! Raines!
Raines: Knock that shit off! My first week here, who do I see? John fucking Tolly! As I have said before Tolly, I had a lot of hope for you. I actually started to respect what you were doing. Hell, I know first hand what can happen when you step through those ropes with a purpose. But you seem to have lost it John! I tried to play nice. I tried to even help you through the Tag Team division of Mayhem. But…..Tolly you didn’t have enough in the tank to pull your own weight! We all watched you fail, the world saw how I took you down time and time again! So…I took you off the roster.
Raines: The following week. Well that week I sat at ringside, minding my business and just enjoying the show. And that waste of flesh Anthony Phoenix decided he had the right to stop, and not only look in my direction but he had to stop and run his mouth. Tragic really. Phoenix needed to be taught that he should really stick to the competition in the first couple matches. He isn’t exactly hired here for anything but to warm up the crowd. Step out of line, get taken off the card. And, so it was done!
Raines: You see, one by one, I am going to take this roster and show them their place in line. I have come to Combat to fight. The big secret is out! I only came here, for the exact same reason I go anywhere I go. I’m looking for a fight! I just so happen to be cleaning up the weak parts of the roster while I do it. John Tolly, Anthony Phoenix…they were just the beginning. This week, what is it that we see? Andre Cash, thinking he is one of the top dogs. An ego that is unjustified, an attitude that needs adjusting. Cash, you haven’t proven anything to anyone. So I figured I would not only knock you down a few rungs, but I took a fucking axe and cut that fucking ladder in half! You and your self-inflated ego came crashing down like a spy balloon over South Carolina. But you were different than the others, weren’t you? I didn’t get to take you out, but we aren’t done Andre. Consider that one a warning, the next time you won’t be so lucky.
Byrd: So Sean Raines the next obvious question is, are you here tonight to sign a contract and become an official member of the Combat roster?
Raines: Seriously you fucking halfwit! Have you not been listening? I am not here for a god damn contract! I am here simply to sort out the shit and fight. Let the entire roster be on stand-by. Know where you belong, keep the ego in check or Sean Raines is going to hunt you down. I have no allegiance here, if you are the weak spot in the show then you are going to be taken off of it!
Byrd: There you have it ladies and gentlemen! Right from the mouth of Sean Raines! And it was made possible by the one and only, all knowing Jas…
Raines: Wait, wait.
Raines interrupts Byrd before he can finish.
Raines: There is one more person who needs a little reality check.
Byrd: There you have it ladies and gentlemen! Andre Cash attacked here earlier tonight, and we are being told ano….
Raines kicks Jason Byrd in the gut, grabbing him by the back of the head and turning around, throwing Jason Byrd face first through the podium. As Byrd crashes to the ground, Raines starts a series of kicks, he then drops down and starts hammering punches down onto his forehead.
Higgins: What the HELL, I told Jason this was a bad idea but this is going to far some one needs to get security out there Byrd is not a wrestler.
The security starts to flood out but behind them come none other than Andre Cash who pushes them out of the way and slides in under the rope and kicks Raines hard in the ribs sending him flying off the top of Byrd. He then stomps Raines a few times before picking him up and sending him against the ropes bouncing off the adjacent ones and meeting him in the middle with the ‘Gridiron’ (spear). He doesn’t stop though he mounts on top of him and begins sending large punches into the side of Raines head you can see the blood start to trickle from his forehead.
Higgins: Cash just saved Byrd from possibly being put in the morgue at the hands of Sean Raines.
Glass: I don’t think he had a valiant bone in his body he just wanted revenge for the attack Raines launched on him earlier this evening.
The security begins to try to peel Cash off but he fights them, knocking one or two down before about five of them pull him off. Raines meanwhile pulls himself up his face now cloaked in blood you can see a wicked smile on him as he too lashes out jumping over the security to get at cash. The two me fight security to get at each other.
Glass: Good Lord how many of these brawls can we have in one night! The security is doing a poor job at the moment getting them apart!
Higgins: While they pull these two apart I am getting word that Ally is trying to Chase down Tyde and the Hamilton Establishment for a word lets get to the back!
-Judge, Jury, Executioners
(featuring Jack Tyde, Shante’ Waverly, Hamilton Establishment)
The camera switches backstage as we see the odd alliance of the Hamilton Establishment, Jack Tyde and Shante’ Waverly all exiting through the back together. They seem smugly happy with what all they had accomplished tonight. The camera however is bouncing and moving as it runs behind Ally Anderson who is dashing towards the group Microphone in hand.
Ally: Wait, hold on Sebastian please..
Sebastian Hamilton pauses and signals for the rest of his entourage to do the same. Their five glares now fixed on Ally she seems nervous, confused and flustered as she searches for the words.
Shante’: Did you have something to say darling or does the cat have your tongue.
She pauses and mocks her with a cat motion
Shante’: Meow deary.
Ally: Yes, of course. What happened out there tonight? Is this a permanent arrangement? What is the meaning behind the videos with Tex, oh God I have a million questions but I guess most of all why?
Sebastian: I’m so glad one of those questions wasn’t why haven’t I called yet… But you ask what’s going on Ally? I’ll tell you what’s going on. What you see here is the dawning of a new age, it’s the start of chaos rising and the tides… Turning, so to speak! You see what we have here are four of the brightest minds to ever set foot in IIW although knowing most of the inbred Anti-Establishment cretins that are sat here in the arena you wouldn’t believe so because they just see muscle and fortitude but no…
Sebastian: This has been a long time coming, Ally, Jack Tyde alongside the gorgeous Shante and myself with my brothers watching my six. What you are all witnessing right now is the creation… The inception… Of The Nightmare Court and you’re going to be seeing a hell of a lot more of us because this is only the beginning of the new and improved IIW Combat… We control everything here, from way up high to the ittle bittes like Andre Cash and Eddie Charisma… As for what happened with Texaco? You don’t need to worry your pretty little head about that sweetheart, all will become clear soon enough. But until then just know Combat, you’re all on notice…
Court, is in session…”
Sebastian looks Ally up and down, gives her “the eye” and walks away with his brothers, Jack and Shante in tow, leaving Ally all “fluttery” as she cuts back to ringside.

-Ground Zero Announcements!
Higgins: As we get ready for our main event we want to take just a moment to run over our extremely STACKED Ground Zero Card coming up in just two weeks at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Glass: Boy do we ever, our guys in the back have made it to the trenches as the battle that is known as Combat continues to wage on they are set for one of the biggest battles yet!
Higgins: Yea Dayspring as already announced we will START the show with the bitter rivalry that is The Granite City Sadist and The Game Changer. A match that will now be for the FNC Television Championship! BUT if TJ manages to win the duo will also Close the night in our main event and the second time around it will be for the Global Championship!
Glass: A brutal match that is sure to test the grit of both men and possibly change the entire landscape of Combat!
Higgins: That’s not all though, because in the middle of the possible book end matches between Caleb and TJ we also have the grueling grudge match between Tex Attwatter and Jack Tyde!
Glass: And I just got news that to prevent the ‘Nightmare Court’ from interfering in this the two will battle in a Steel Cage Match.
Higgins: Also along with Tyde his close partner Shante’ Waverly will be taking on Aaliyah Landerson one on one. And that’s still not it!
Glass: Iron Wolf will also be in action defending his Uprising title against newcomer Cyrus Youngblood! That plus Crush, PG 13 and all the big names in Combat will be in action on GROUND ZERO in just two weeks!
Higgins: I can’t wait for that, but we are going to have to. What we don’t have to wait for is our main event TONIGHT when Crush teams up with TJ Alexander to take on the team of PG-13 and our Dual Champion Caleb Scott!

The view switches in ring as Charity is ready for the main event:
Charity: It is time for our MAIN EVENT!!
The fans let out a large cheer as she continues.
Charity: It is a tag team match with one fall! First coming to the ring standing 6 foot 5 inches and hailing from Atlanta, Georgia he is ‘The King of Extreme’ CRUSH!!
‘Kingdom’ by Downstait blast over the PA and the fans in the arena go berserk.
Charity: His Partner for the night known around the world as Kidd Krazy! he is TJ Alexander!
“The Touch” by Stan Bush blast and the fans go crazy as TJ Alexander appears on the ramp. You can hear the fans chanting ‘TJ, TJ, TJ’ as he heads down the ramp giving high gives along the way.
Charity: Their opponents for the night introducing first at 6 foot 7 inches and 280 pounds he hails from Marietta Georgia he is PG-13!!!
‘Hero’ By Skillet blast as the beast appears on the entrance ramp. He pauses for a moment as his Pyro blast behind him before he takes a moment to march down the ramp and into the ring.
Charity: Finally his partner and Friday Night Combat Global Champion and Television Champion, he is The Granite City Sadist, CALEB SCOTT!!
Lights go black as Ze Nigmar plays. Caleb’s four hooded drudges come out with torches on stage and line up two on either side of the ramp. Lights stay off as song intro plays. Once the drums in the song start, a single beam of light from above the ring shoots to the stage as Caleb Scott walks into the light amidst a layer of thick fog. Holding his chain-wrapped bat, Caleb stands there for a few seconds looking at the crowd. You can see his Global title wrapped tightly around his waist and his Television title hoisted on his shoulder. Caleb begins to slowly walk to the ring as a short row of fire ignites on either side of the entrance ramp. Caleb approaches the steel steps and places his bat on the top step. He then places his hand on top of it and closes his eyes for a few seconds before going up the steps and into the ring, the single beam of light follows him the entire time. He walks towards the corner and stands on the middle rope. He stares out into the crowd for a few seconds before taking a deep breath, extending his arms out to the side, and unleashing a loud, thunderous scream before the lights come back on.
Higgins: I still can’t believe Dayspring decided to let him keep both those titles!
Glass: I think he’s trying to send some sort of message, to show Caleb the weight of being a champion by potentially making him wrestle twice in one night on ground zero!
The ref checks the men and goes over the rules before he signals for the bell.
***Ding, Ding***
As the bell rings the four men hesitate as they decide who starts. TJ eager to get his hands on Caleb starts the match and voices his desire for Caleb to start with him. The champ however shrugs and takes the place on the apron leaving PG-13 inside to start.
Higgins: This match is full of tension and drama there is absolutely no love lost between Caleb and PG-13 and on the other side TJ Alexander just pinned Crush on ECE to retain his United States Championship over there.
Glass: Not to mention TJ and Crush are set to face each other for Crush’s ECE World Championship. And that is just the drama among team mates, PG-13 and Crush are brothers who love to hate each other and have a long tangled history of doing so.
Higgins: That’s right while TJ and Caleb has been locked in a brutal blood feud since X-Plosion almost three months ago.
As PG-13 gets ready TJ points to Caleb and insist for a tag, PG kind of grins and go over to tag TJ in rather he likes it or not with a big chop on his chest. Caleb quickly comes through the ropes and gets into PG face for the action, as the two team mates exchange words TJ waste no time charge forward and grabbing Caleb from behind hitting a release German Suplex on him. PG chuckles as he holds his hands up an takes spot on the ring apron.
Glass: This isn’t a match for these men, this is just one battle in a war a win or a lost means little what matters is how much damage they can inflict and the statement they make to everyone else in this match!
Higgins: Still winning this has to be a statement of its own, a pin on Caleb Scott for example by either TJ or Crush would have to be a claim to a future title shot of some sort.
TJ keeps his fast paced offense up as he bounces off the ropes and hits a running senton bomb on Caleb. Once he makes contact with the senton he rolls to his feet and in one forward jump springboards off the ropes and hits a gorgeous moon sault landing solid on Caleb and going for a pin.
. Kick Out!
TJ goes to pull Caleb up to his feet but Crush reaches in and tags himself in wanting a peace of the double champ himself. You can see TJ and Crush lock eyes for a moment after the tag before TJ takes his place now outside on the ring apron. Crush grabs Caleb and hits a big biel tossing Caleb hard into the corner. Once in the corner Crush sends a few good elbows into the side of Calebs head before placing him up on the top rope and then hitting a big superplex off the top. Crush doesn’t hesitate in making a cover after.
.1,
.. Kick out!
Glass: Caleb got thrown to the dogs by his partner here at the start so TJ and Crush are taking full advantage of PG’s complete detest for his partner.
Higgins: Yea two titles around his waist gives Caleb Scott a big target on his head.
Crush gets ready to pick up Caleb and signals he is going for his signature ‘Taken to the Extreme’ (Sit Out Last Ride) but Caleb manages to slide off and Catch Crush on the way down with a DDT the fans let out a loud pop as Caleb rolls to his stomach and starts to get up. Crush also begins to recover but Caleb is the first to strike bouncing off the ropes and jumping hitting Crush with ‘Grim Death’ (Running Knee Strike) crashing him back to the mat hard. He stands up and turns towards his partner PG pauses for a second and flips him off before turning back to the attack on Crush.
Higgins: Well that’s one way to send a message, not sure if it’s the wisest in the world though.
Glass: Like you said he is a double champ who isn’t scared to prove why. Maybe he feels that he can be both TJ and Crush by himself. I mean let’s be honest it’s not like PG-13 was helping him much to begin with.
He drags Crush to his feet and begins giving him a series of chops and forearms pushing him back against the rope as he does so. Caleb then goes to Irish whip him but Crush reverses it sending Caleb against the ropes instead, Crush then tries to hit a Superman Punch but Caleb ducks it and sides steps behind Crush. Once behind him he spends him around kicking him in the gut and then gets him in position for the ‘Grave Plot’ (Alabama slam) as he lifts him up however Crush uses his massive size and strength to power back to his feet and lift Caleb up to hit a Piledriver on him. Crush goes for the cover afterwards.
.1,
.. Kick out!
Crush slams his fist on the mat in frustration before jerking Caleb to his feet, Crush once again hits an Irish whip on Caleb and this time he bounces off to go for the ‘Bonecrusher’ (spear). Caleb is able to move out of the way and sends Crush sending head first into the turnbuckle where PG is waiting. Caleb goes to roll up Crush for the pin afterwards.
..1,
.. Kick out!
After all the action the two are now in Caleb’s corner so after Crush kicks out PG stretches his arm over and tags himself in. He pulls Crush up by his hair and sets him up for a big pump handle slam. Afterwards he puts crush in a sitting position where he gets behind and begins driving elbows into the side of Crush’s shoulder. PG goes to pick up Crush on his shoulders as he attempts ‘The Revelation’ but Crush is able to slide off his shoulders behind him. Crush quickly bounces off the ropes and leaps forward with a Pounce on his brother. However while he bouncing off the ropes TJ makes a blind tag getting himself in the match. The pounce sends PG back a few feet enough for Caleb to stretch his arm out and tag himself in as well.
Glass: Looks like everyone wants a piece of the action now!
Higgins: Yea the Champ is in there with his opponent for Ground Zero again we can see if he does any better this time than last.
PG either doesn’t realize the tags have been made or just don’t care as he charges at his brother with a large lariat sending himself and Crush both over the top rope and to the outside of the ring. TJ charges at Caleb with a flipping Lariat sending Caleb hard to the mat. After which TJ heads to the turnbuckle jump straight up and hitting a split legged moon sault onto the downed Caleb. He goes for a pin afterwards, but as he does Caleb is aware enough to roll him up in a small package instead the ref goes to count.
.1,
..2,
… KICK OUT!!
Higgins: That was CLOSE! Caleb is showing his toughness and resourcefulness with that sly attempt to end this now.
Glass: TJ is so zoned in on getting his revenge on Caleb and proving that X-Plosion was a fluke that he is being a bit careless he needs to slow down just a bit and finish this, he has the skill to do it.
Meanwhile on the outside of the ring Crush has taken control and moves over to the commentary table. Crush begins to clear off the monitors and such as Higgins and Glass move out of the way. Crush tosses PG on top of the table and follows him up placing him in position for a powerbomb. PG however isn’t gong to let that happen has he powers his way and flips Crush over his head and the barricade right into laps of some audience members on the front row.
Higgins: Between Sean Raines and these guys I am going to ask for a raise!
Glass: Yea we should at least get hazard pay.
Inside the ring Caleb is in the corner and as TJ gets a running start to charge at him Caleb grabs the ref and pulls him in front of the move TJ wipes out the ref and knocks him out cold. TJ doesn’t pause for a second instead he kicks Caleb in the gut and hits the ‘Game Over’ (Angel Wings) on Caleb and goes for a pin.
Glass: There is no ref to make the count?!
Higgins: Crush and PG don’t even seem to care as they are still brawling in the audience right now!
The audience at this point begins to count for TJ.
1.. 2.. 3.. 4..
TJ sighs in frustration as he goes over to wake up the ref, while he is doing this Caleb begins to stir and rolls outside of the ring. He grabs his bat from under the ring and you can see a wicked smile on his face. He rolls back in and as TJ finally got the ref some what awake Caleb slams the end of his bat into the side of TJ head. He quickly tosses the bat out and picks up TJ limp body as the ref is finally awake. He picks him up for ‘The Final Resting Place’ and goes for the pin after. Crush has battled his brother all the way to the top of the stairs in the midst of the audience and has no idea what is happening in the ring. The ref still groggy goes for the count.
.1,
..2,
…3!!
***Ding, Ding***
Charity: Your winner by pin fall Caleb Scott & PG-13!!
Higgins: He Stole it! HE just stole that win right from under everyone’s nose!
Glass: He is the champ, lets see if he can stay that way after Ground Zero!
Caleb slides out of the ring and grabs both is belts. The Camera gets a close up of Caleb holding both titles in the air as the show goes off the air.
Next: Ground Zero
