-Ground Zero
As the television feed flickers the screen is filled with black and white images of marching soldiers. The only color on the screen is the small Combat logo in the bottom middle of the screen. As the soldiers continue to march the slow intro of War Pigs by Black Sabbath starts to play in the background. Eventually as the beat picks up we see the images of the soldiers start to flash faster and faster while in there we see pictures of Combat stars in action. Caleb Scott, Iron Wolf, Tj Alexander, Axel Shaw, and many others are seen as the images continue to flash between the soldiers of war and the combatants of IIW.

Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerer of death’s construction
The action from both sides pick up greatly as footage blast into color now and the soldiers begin shooting, firing and taking cover while the wrestlers are now being shown giving out big bumps and slams as well as other high impact moves. Eventually the camera begins to pull out as we get an aerial view of what would appear to be Charlotte, North Carolina after a few minutes there is a large mushroom cloud center in North Carolina and as the smoke clears away it is replaced with a logo.

The Ground Zero logo fades and we are at ringside with the Combat commentators Alex Higgins and Arthur B. Glass. The fans behind them are holding several signs, some of the most noticeable are ‘Shaw me the Money’, ‘Ride A cowboy’ & ‘TJ Alexander Marry Me!’. Higgins and Glass pause for the first few seconds as the crowd is so loud it would be near impossible for anything else to be heard. Finally Alex begins to speak.
Higgins: Ladies and Gentlemen I am Alexander Higgins this is my partner Arthur B. Glass..
Glass takes a little bow for the fans as Higgins continues.
Higgins: And as you can see not only do we have a big card for you tonight featuring the much anticipated Siege Perilous which will crown our first EVER Global Champion here on Combat. But Dayspring is already planning our First Supercard on February 24th when we will be at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Tennessee!
Glass: That’s right, it’s just another sign of how much our new General Manager has planned for this great brand. Despite how momentous tonight will be he knows the show must continue and is not taking a moment off to bask in its glory, instead he’s planning something big at Ground Zero in Nashville.
Higgins: He is, but we can’t look past tonight because not only are we going to witness the first ever Siege Perilous we have a great card lined up for you tonight with the Monster that is simply known as The Silence set to be in action against IIW Veteran Griff Warner.
Glass: That’s right, the ruthless and ever so demented Silence is a force that we need to make sure to keep our eye on. We also have Eddie Charisma set for his singles debut on Combat after Alpha Enterprises took out his partner last week in an uncalled for attack after his match.
Higgins: That’s right his former partner BIll Nemeth is out and Eddie is going to take on a very promising new star in Cyrus Youngblood a man who….
Before Higgins can finish his thought the lights go black and “Ze Nigmar” by Rotting Christ hits the PA system.
Glass: Well it seems like our Television Champion Caleb Scott is tired of hearing us ramble and wants to get this show on the road. He will be one of our participants in the Siege Perilous match tonight but that’s not scheduled until later in our main event! So he must have something on his chest.
Higgins: It should be an apology after the vicious attack he made on Iron Wolf last night with the help of the mindless grunts from the Purge that follow him around.
The four hooded drudges come out with torches on the stage and line up two on either side. Once Caleb makes his appearance the hooded men take off their hoods and reveal the colorful neon mask of the purge. Caleb leads his Purge followers down to the ring.
Glass: Well it appears he didn’t come alone tonight either, Dayspring tried to reason with him last week but it appears Caleb is determined to prove he does what he wants, when he wants it.
Caleb gets in the ring with the Purge Followers and demands a mic. He stands in front of the Followers with the Television Championship on his shoulder and stares out at the booing crowd for a few seconds before speaking.
Scott: You people can boo all you want but it isn’t going to change a damn thing. The first episode of Combat showed exactly why I run Combat after I beat Iron Wolf down and had the Purge Followers waiting to pounce. Dayspring does not make the rules here, I do. Tonight, after I win the Global Championship, there will be nothing anyone will be able to do to stop us and all of you nobodies will learn to fear The Purge.
The Rupp Arena crowd’s booing grows to a deafening level as Caleb and the Followers stand in the ring.
Scott: Get it out of your system because tonight, after you all see me destroy some of your favorite wrestlers, you’ll want to boo me as I stand before you not only as the Television Champion but also the Global Champion. You’ll want to boo me but you won’t be able to because you will all be in too strong of a state of shock after you witness Siege Perilous that you physically won’t be able to move or speak. All you will be able to do is stand and watch as my music plays and I celebrate with the Followers as we grow closer to taking over not just Combat but all of IIW.
The fans have started a ‘You Suck’ chant at this point as they let the Television champ and his entourage have it. Before Caleb could say much more however ‘War Pigs’ by Black Sabbath blasted the PA and the fans began to cheer again.
Glass: For a guy who doesn’t want the spotlight this is two shows we have had to start off with him on the screen.
Higgins: Give it a rest Arthur someone needs to check Caleb’s attitude. There is a standard that should be expected on a show of this caliber and it’s Dayspring’s job to enforce that.
As Dayspring emerges from the back at the top of the entrance ramp you can see he isn’t alone. With him are over a dozen security guards, referees and head of security Carson Dunn. A giant man who also had a successful career in the wrestling industry. Dayspring has a mic in hand and pauses a few seconds letting the fans cheer before signaling to cut his music.
Dayspring: Caleb I have to admit you did it last week. You scored a win in the first ever Combat main event AND got yourself the last entry in tonight’s Siege Perilous match.
The fans boo as Dayspring motions for them to calm down a bit before he continues.
Dayspring: Sure you cheated and had your cronies attack our Uprising Champion afterwards but you got the win. I am disappointed though because I still believe you have the talent to be successful on your skills alone. Maybe I am just a glutton for punishment but tonight it’s time for an intervention.
He pauses and smiles.
Dayspring: Boys if you will..
He motions to Carson who nods and the entire group of security and referees begin to march towards the ring.
Dayspring: I am sure you have met our head of security Mister Carson Dunn, he has his crew together and some volunteers from our officiating crew to help escort your friends, your uh ‘Purge Followers’ out of the building tonight. You see they are no longer welcome at Combat shows. We are taking extra security to make sure any of your creepy friends stay over on Mayhem, or hell somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic as far as I am concerned. As long as they aren’t at Combat though. That means tonight you get a chance to prove if you can really do it or not…
Glass: Is he Serious?! How is he going to enforce it? These roaches live in every crack and crevasse of IIW. Still I have to applaud his efforts to make this show fair and extract that cancer before it has time to spread too far.
Higgins: Yes it does seem like he is intent on keeping this show about fair competition. And he still seems to have hope for our TV Champion. Too bad I don’t share his optimism.
The security gets up and circles the ring trying to enter but the Purge Followers look like they are ready to strike if anyone enters.
Dayspring: you had better get your guys Caleb, I swear if one of them hits a member of my staff I will take you out of Siege Perilous tonight without even a second thought!
Higgins: Well Dayspring escalated that quickly!
Glass: He knows it’s no good threatening Caleb with fines or such so he made sure to hit him where it hurt. A man as motivated as Scott wants that Global Title!
You can see the anger in Caleb’s face as he contemplates his choices, at one point even grabbing his baseball bat and looking like he might start attacking the security himself. Eventually however he kicked the bottom rope and gave the nod to the followers to leave peacefully.
Dayspring: Good Choice Champ. I look forward to seeing you in Siege Perilous tonight.
Scott: Alright, Dayspring. You can take the Purge Followers out of here but it won’t make a difference. I’ll still win Siege Perilous and I’ll still be the Global Champion.
The Purge Followers are escorted out by security leaving an angry Caleb Scott in the ring as ‘War Pigs’ blare over the PA .
-Interview with The Nightmare
(featuring Axel Shaw)
Higgins: On This historic night in IIW Combat we will see the first ever Global Champion crowned at eight superstars will step inside the ring and go to war. We have heard that our interviewer Ally Anderson has a scheduled interview with Axel Shaw himself to ask a few questions before tonight’s main event that I’m sure the universe is dying to know.
The Combat logo flashes upon the screen before panning into a dressing room with Ally Anderson sitting on a chair directly in front of Axel Shaw who is sitting confidently with a giant smirk upon his face awaiting Ally to begin the conversation.
Ally Anderson: Tonight is the night that Combat and IIW crown a new Global Champion and just curious how you feel about that? The other thing we have to know is what being a Global Champion will mean to you and how you feel it will impact your career?
Axel Shaw It means everything.. I have trained my whole life for this one opportunity and not allowing it to slip between my fingers. It is a close feeling knowing that the Championship is right in front of me and tonight I have the chance to walk away with it hanging around my shoulder. I was the world to know that having Axel Shaw as a champion doesn’t just mean an accomplishment to my legacy but, a fighting champion who will take pride in being the face of Combat.
Ally Anderson We know you have to face seven other competitors in tonight’s matchup. Does that change up the game plan at all? Or does everything stay the same as always?
Axel Shaw I have to approach this matchup like any other matches I have had in the past in my very short career… Business as always. I am confident and prepared stepping inside that ring tonight and that won’t change it doesn’t matter if there are seven competitors or twenty.
Ally Anderson – What would it mean for the rest of the roster here on Combat if you are able to win that championship and walk away victorious? Would it change anything about the pecking order or how you do things going forwards?
Axel Shaw – The pecking order is just a myth… I am a fighting champion and a face to remember winning a championship doesn’t change just that. For the roster sitting in the back signed to Combat it doesn’t change their roles. I am willing to step up and compete against anyone at any time; it doesn’t really matter.
Ally Anderson – We have been informed we don’t have much more time as this show is packed tonight full of action but, would like to get one more question. Do you feel the landscape of IIW and Combat can be changed after this main event and more eyes will be opened to what you guys bring to the company? I know sometimes with brands like Mayhem and Combat that some feel the Combat guys can’t compete at the Mayhem level. Do you believe in that?
Axel Shaw – It’s not about who is good enough for what brand it’s about showing IIW that both brands can co-exist. I didn’t sign up for Combat thinking I couldn’t make it on Mayhem because, we all know that I could. I signed up for Combat knowing they needed a franchise player, a face for the brand – I gave them that face. Hopefully after I go out there and compete my ass off IIW and Mayhem will have a little more respect for these Combat guys who are just trying to survive but I will let the audience turning in decide on that one.

The Camera returns to ringside as IIW is prepared for it’s opening match to see two guys who are ready to step into the ring and compete to prove themselve’s as worthy Combat superstars.We pan the camera around to the middle of the ring to see Charity standing there ready to make the ring announcements for each superstar to get this battle started.
Charity – Ladies and gentlemen we like to thank you for tuning into tonight’s episode of Combat and hope you enjoy the action. Our first match is scheduled for one fall singles match making his way out to the ring first we have Griff Warner.
Passengers by Deftones is queued up on the sound system and blares throughout the arena as we see him make his way out from behind the curtain. Slowly approaching the top of the steel ramp he poses for a moment as a few pyros set off in front of him. On his face is a massive smirk before he slowly walks his way down the entrance ramp before reaching the bottom. Putting his back on the apron he rolls himself into the ring before he makes his way towards his corner and awaits Griff Warner. At this time Charity speaks again.
Charity – And his opponent who resides from the Unknown weighing in at 280 lbs and standing at a massive six foot 8 inches we have The Silence.
NO music to be heard, just the light’s dimmed down to a darkened state. We see two shaded figures walking down the ramp to nothing but the eerie silence. Both men not showing a inch of emotion or any facial expressions before the massive man enters the ring to get this opening match started,
***Ding, Ding***
Both men make their way to the middle of the ring with The Silence clearly having the height advantage over Griff Warner. Griff looking The Silence directly in the eyes slaps him dead across the face which seems to just anger his opponent more. With his left arm The Silence is able to push him away and is now pissed off and angry. Griff at this moment looks like he has made a giant mistake attempting to go for a Piledrver but The Silence is able to shuffle away from it. Looking towards his corner he can see the signal being given that tells him playtime is now over and this match needs to be finished. Raising Griff Warner over his head with his impressive size and strength he looks over at his corner with a very focussed look in his eyes. After holding him in the air for a few moments he slams him down with one of the biggest Gorilla Press Slams IIW has ever seen. Walking over to Griff’s motionless body he stares deep inside of his soul before getting down and going for the cover. The ref drops to both knees in a hurry and begins the count.

Charity: Your winner The Silence!!!
The bell has sounded indicating we have seen a very decisive winner in
Glass: The Silence who was able to produce yet another victory on Combat bringing his record to 2-0. Hopefully in the upcoming weeks we can see more on what The Silence has to offer.

(featuring Sean Raines)
Higgins: Looks like there is some sort of commotion going on in the audience..
The camera switches to the audience as we see a figure making their way towards the front, the fans all cheering as he goes by. Once we are able to get a clear look he is instantly recognized as Sean Raines.
Glass: What on earth is he doing here? Last week he came out of nowhere and the end result was John Tolly being taken out on a stretcher.
Higgins: Yea from what I heard he’s not even signed to Combat. Dayspring tried to contact him several times since the last show with no avail but here he is, what is he up too!
Sean Raines makes it to the front row and takes a seat in the empty seat. Slumping down and propping his feet up on the barricade, seemingly disinterested in the whole show. The fans around him however seem to be going crazy cheering and taking selfies.
Higgins: Is he just watching the show? He doesn’t seem to be excited to be here.
Glass: There is no way he is just ‘watching’ . I think it would be wise for everyone to make sure to watch him.
Higgins: I think we will try to get someone down there to find out what is happening but until then we got a show to get on with.

Glass: That’s right and the next one should prove to be an eye opener as former tag team specialist Eddie Charisma makes his Combat singles debut as he takes on brand new signee Cyrus Youngblood!
Higgins: Cyrus is a unique individual and it will be interesting to see him in action but I am just as interested in seeing Eddie in action especially after picking up his debut win alongside his tag partner Bill Nemeth both men were attacked after the match by Alpha Enterprises. This very attack puts Nemeth on the shelf for an extended period of time.
Glass: Less talk more punching Alex, let’s get to the ring so Charity can get this underway!
The view switches to Charity Langston as the attractive young lady begins the match announcements.
Charity: The next match is a standard one fall match, first coming to the ring standing 6 foot 1 inches and residing in Helena, Montana Cyrus Youngblood!!
The lights go out as Broadway Girls by Lil Durk hits the PA after a few seconds a spotlight hits the entrance ramp and we see Cyrus motioning with his arms spread almost like he’s offering a hug. As he makes his way down he gets in the center of the ring and drops to his knees as he appears to say a prayer.
Higgins: There is cocky and then there’s this guy, he believes himself to be a messiah. I really think Dayspring must have been drinking when he decided to sign this guy to a contract.
Glass: I admit his mental state is questionable but his in ring talent is undeniable. He’s young, fast, strong and most importantly smart in the ring. Anyone who overlooks him might be in trouble.
Charity: His opponent for the night from the Netherlands, he is Eddie Charisma!!
‘Carmella Girls’ by Caramelldansen hits and the fans begin to give off a big pop as he goes down giving the fans at ringside high fives before sliding into the ring under the lower rope.
The view switches to the ring where the ref checks both men before he signals for the bell to officially start the match.
***Ding, Ding***
As the bell rings Charisma looks ready to go but Youngblood motions for a moment as he leans over and gets a mic from Charity Langston. He thumps it a few times to make sure its on before speaking into it.
Youngblood: Eddie Charisma I am a Messiah who offers mercy, I will give you one chance to save yourself from damnation. Lay down now, let me pin you and we then you can follow me into salvation. Achieve greatness at my side, go ahead son do what’s right.
Higgins: Is he asking that Charisma lay down for him tonight?!
Glass: That’s exactly what he is asking, I told you this guy is a few floors short of the penthouse. Still people buy into what he is selling, he has a flock that follows him without question. Maybe his influence will extend into Charisma as well.
Eddie looks out at the audience as if asking for their opinion, they all let out a chorus of boos. Youngblood motions for him to ignore them and lay down. Eddie takes a moment and nods as he lays on the mat for Youngblood to pin. You can hear the boos erupt even louder from the fans as he does.
Higgins: I guess you’re right ABG, it appears Eddie has seen the light.
A large smile comes over Youngblood’s face as he hands the mic back out the ring and goes over to pin his new disciple. As he does however Eddie reveals his true hand as he quickly wraps him up for a small package and the ref gets in position to count.

.. Kick Out!!
Glass: That was close, it appears Eddie was planning on committing one of the big sins and stealing this victory tonight from the self proclaimed Messiah.
Higgins: He almost had it, you can tell Youngblood wasn’t expecting that. He must not be used to being rejected.
You can see Youngblood point at him shouting as he does as the two men are now back on their feet. The two men quickly lock up as Eddie gets the advantage and places Cyrus in a hammerlock. Eddie applies pressure as he tries to gain an advantage, you can see the pain in Cyrus but it doesn’t take long before he sends a series of elbows into the side of Eddie’s head to break the hold. Cyrus then quickly grabs the arm of Eddie’s twisted it and applies a hammerlock to him.
Glass: Now that the match is really on you can see the technical skills of both these men on display as they try to whittle each other day here early in the match up.
Higgins: These two are extremely similar in size and skill sets but Cyrus is much more likely to take a short cut to get ahead than Eddie is.
Eddie is able to reach behind him and grab Cyrus for a snapmare breaking the hold and sending him down hard. Eddie quickly follows up by bouncing off the ropes and hitting a low drop kick right to the face of Cyrus. While Cyrus is down Eddie hits a standing moonsault and goes for a quick pin before the ref is in position however Cyrus kicks out. Eddie doesn’t slow his assault however as he locks in a side headlock on Cyrus while he is still down on the mat.
Glass: You notice as he weaves in his explosive high flying offense with his sound technical prowess it makes a hard match up for anyone as he controls the speed of the bout. Constantly going from fast to slow making it hard for his opponent to get into a rhythm against him.
Higgins: He is really getting to show what he’s made of in his singles debut that’s for sure, you can tell he is fighting to prove something after what happened with his partner last week.
Cyrus begins to fight up as he is eventually on his feet now but Eddie still has the headlock locked in tightly. As Cyrus positions himself to the side of Eddie he manages to lift Eddie into the air and hit a back suplex on him sending Eddie to the mat hard. This causes Eddie to break the hold on Cyrus. Cyrus and Eddie begin to pull themselves up at about the same time but Cyrus is the first to strike. He runs past Eddie and springboards off the adjacent ropes nailing a reverse DDT on him in the process. The fans at this point are chanting ‘This is Awesome’ as the two are really getting heated up now.
Higgins: Now we are seeing some of the skill Cyrus has on display as he has taken full control of the match now.
Glass: Cyrus is dangerous at all times, but once he is able to take control of the pace he can be nigh unstoppable.
Cyrus goes for the pin quickly after the reverse DDT. The ref gets into position

… Kick Out!
The frustration can be seen on Cyrus’ face as he slams his fist on the mat a few times before picking Eddie up and going for an Irish whip. Eddie however quickly reverses the Irish whip then proceeds to bounce off the adjacent rope. As Eddie does however he springboards and twists in mid air hitting Cyrus with a powerful spear. He quickly covers him.

Glass: This speed of this match has really picked up as these guys kick it into full gear! Two near falls and you can see the frustration in both men as they don’t know what else needs to be done to put their opponent away!
Eddie signals to the fans that he’s ready to put him away, this gets a loud pop as he heads to the apron and sits up for ‘The Final Hour’ (slingshot DDT) as Cyrus begins to get up you can see him sling shot over the top rope but Cyrus is prepared as he moves to the side but Eddie manages to land on his feet. Still Cyrus is able to kick Eddie in the gut and hits “The Judgement Day” (cross rhodes) on Eddie quickly going for the pin after.

Charity: Your Winner by Pinfall Cyrus Youngblood!!
Glass: That was an amazing move by Cyrus able to avoid Eddie’s finisher and hit one of his own. It goes to show that Cyrus may have an incredible future ahead of him on Combat!
Higgins: Yea and Eddie showed a lot of heart, I am certain he will have a bright future as well.
Glass: So far two great matches, Sean Raines at ringside and already seen two of our biggest stars in Caleb Scott and Axel Shaw man what a night so far and we still have Siege Perilous tonight!
-Monday Night Preview
Higgins: I know we are all excited for sure. Still ss we are just getting started for tonight we would like to remind you about the star studded show our partners are preparing for you this coming monday on Mayhem!
Glass: That’s right all your old favorites prepare to clash in a massive card that features 10 incredible matches highlighting the conflict between the new force in IIW known as The Mecca of Professional Wrestling as they attempt to assert dominance over the rest of the Mayhem roster.
Higgins: Here’s a look at just some of what you can expect!
The screen is filled with images of the wrestlers participating in the Mayhem matches this coming Monday. Showing the different competitors as a voice over hypes the matches.
Max Stone vs Bam Miller
Max Stone looks to get some revenge against The Mecca when he goes one on one with The Slayer Bam Miller in a hardcore match but Bam looks to send a message to Stone that The Mecca is not to be messed with. Who will win when these two collide?
Bobby Bourbon vs Equinsu Ocha vs Lilam Cain
Bobby and Liam will both be involved in the Keys 2 Success Ladder Match and look to build momentum towards the match but Equinsu Och stands in both of their way of obtaining a victory.
LWA Heavyweight Title Match: Fred Debonair vs DemoniK ©
The Legendary Wrestling Alliance strap will be on the line when DemoniK makes a guest appearance on IIW television to defend against the IIW UK Champion Fred Debonair. Could Mecca add more good to their already impressive pile and spread their influence even further in the wrestling landscape?
Main Event: Rhett Dawson vs Sawyer Wade vs Joe Montuori ©
The Tag Team Champions find themselves against each other along with Joe Montuori as the three of them go to war over the IIW International Championship in a falls count anywhere match. Will ATG work together or will the thirst of Gold corrupt them and give Joe a clean path to victory?
The video footage fades and we are back at ringside.
Higgins: Along with these big matches the Mayhem World Heavyweight Champion John Cavanagh, and the returning Justin York will both be in action and many more. That’s Monday January 30th 2023!
Glass: Right now however I think Ally is about to try to get a word in with Sean Raines about what he is doing here and if he plans to make a commitment to Combat or at least what his intentions are going forward!

The Camera cuts to Sean Raines who can be seen sitting in the front row. Leaning back in his seat, one foot up on the guardrail. Ally Anderson is next to him on the other side of the guardrail with a mic in hand.
Ally Anderson: Ladies & Gentlemen, I am here at ringside with the man we are all trying to figure out. Raines why the violent attack on your former partner John Tolly putting him out of commission for the foreseeable future. And then once again this week here you are sitting front and center. As has already stated, you are yet to sign a contract here on Combat, so Sean we want to know why exactly you are here.
Sean Raines puts his foot down, turning his attention to Ally.
Sean Raines: Why? Well that’s pretty simple isn’t it Ally? Last week I was here to kick John Tolly’s ass. I believe I told you that already, not really a mystery there.
Ally Anderson: Well why would you retu….
Sean quickly interrupts Ally, a stern look of sarcasm now across his face.
Sean Raines: Why would I return this week? What kind of moron do they let do these interviews Ally. I am obviously here to see the card. I am obviously a big fan of Combat…..
Sean Raines leans back again in his seat, raising one foot back to the guardrail. Before turning away to dismiss Ally Anderson….
Sean Raines: Either that or I am not done. Now fuck off, or go find me a beer.
The look in Ally’s face says it all as she turns back to the camera and speaks.
Ally Anderson: Well Looks like he is being pretty tight lipped, I guess only time will tell. Back to you!
The camera returns to the duo at ringside.
Glass: Well it appears that Raines is just a big fan of what we got going on here in Combat. And honestly you can’t blame him. We are the best show on television and have an exciting lineup tonight.
Higgins: Come on ABG you know it’s not that simple, last week he wreaked havoc on John Tolly and now you expect us to believe..
-Pretty Technical Open Challenge
(featuring Pretty Technical / Bear-O-Dactyl!)
Before Higgins can say anything else he is interrupted as ‘Just Like You’ by Three Days Grace blares over the PA as the fans flood the arena with boos. The team of Pretty Technical appear at the entrance ramp as they walk down the ramp urging the fans to boo for them. Once in the ring McCann gets a mic and begins to speak.
McCann: Shut the hell up! No one asked you inbred fans!
The fans in Lexington boo even louder as he sighs before continuing.

Glass: I question some of Dayspring’s delusional beliefs and hold fashioned reasoning but so far he is really knocking it out of the park on Combat!

We see that it will be Norton and Jack to start us off. The two men lock up and Union Jack gets the advantage as he takes Norton down and applies an armbar immediately. You can see the pain across Norton’s face as we hear Higgins speak.
Higgins : We were able to see Pretty Technical in the ring last week against The Unholy Alliance but this week they go up against the team of Bear-O-Dactyl.
Glass: I mean you say it like it’s not good news for Pretty Technical, I love these guys!
The shot returns back to the ring where we see Union Jack release the armbar but continue to work on Norton’s arm by giving him a few stomps and then dragging him over to the corner where we see Jack tag in Pequeño Dinosaurio.
Higgins: Uh oh, this doesn’t look too good for Norton.
Glass: Never count Norton out but even I must say that the fact that Bear-O-Dactyl seems to be working the corner is always a good advantage in tag team wrestling.
Pequeño Dinosaurio picks Norton up and whips him against the ropes. As Norton comes off the ropes Pequeño Dinosaurio leaps up against the ropes and catches Norton with a flying crossbody that takes Norton down on the mat as we see Norton roll to the outside of the ring and the ref begins to count.

It’s not long before Norton is joined on the outside of the ring by Pequeño Dinosaurio who goes to pick Norton up but is cut off by McCaan who clotheslines Pequeño Dinosaurio on the outside of the ring as the ref has now reached a count of 5.

McCann picks up Norton and then gets back up on the ring apron and tags himself in, making him the legal man as he quickly jumps down and grabs Pequeño Dinosaurio and tosses him back into the ring. Both men make it back to the ring as the ref reaches a count of 8.
Higgins: Doesn’t seem like McCann liked what was going on too much.
Glass: Of course not! In tag team wrestling looking out for your partner is key, not to mention Bear-O-Dactyl was just trying to take advantage. You saw it with your own eyes!
Higgins: Are you serious right now Glass?
As the two men banter between themselves we see that McCann quickly picks up Pequeño Dinosaurio and delivers a russian leg sweep, finally building a little offense for his team. He stomps on Pequeño Dinosaurio as he turns to Union Jack and gives him the finger. However this gives Pequeño Dinosaurio time to recover as he turns his attention back to Pequeño Dinosaurio who hits McCann with a spike DDT.
The crowd goes wild as Pequeño Dinosaurio makes his way back over to his corner and tags in Union Jack. Union Jack goes over and picks up McCann, who manages to kick Jack and McCann picks up Jack and catches him with a sidewalk slam. This causes the crowd to start to boo McCann as he walks over and tags in Norton who comes in fresher than before with a spurt of energy and attempts to put Union Jack into a boston crab, but Union Jack kicks Norton off of him and Norton goes running into the corner where his shoulder meets steel, which causes an eruption cheer from the crowd.
Union Jack gets to his feet and makes his way into the corner where he picks up Norton and body slams him into the corner turnbuckle and hangs him up against the turnbuckle as he delivers The Picnic Basket to Norton.
Higgins: I love that move.
Glass: Sure you do, you only love it when the good guys use it.
Higgins: Sometimes you have to stay on the right side of the world Glass, something that I am sure that you know nothing about.
Union Jack has tagged Pequeño Dinosaurio back in as we hear the crowd slowly began to chant “Bear-O-dactyl”. Norton is out of it and has no place to go as Pequeño Dinosaurio unhooks him from the turnbuckle and pulls him out to the center of the ring and delivers the Caída de Dinosaurio, as the ref makes the count.

Higgins: What a night Glass! Not only have we seen some of the best Combat has to offer but just now out of nowhere Mayhem’s very own Bear-O-Dactyl! Made a guest appearance putting a whooping on our resident ass holes in Pretty Technical!
Glass: Pretty Technical are true stars who were taking advantage of! They issued a challenge to the Combat Locker room; they had no way to prepare for that set of goof balls to waltz down here. What on earth is the use of these shows if people are just going to pop up wherever they want!
Higgins: Dayspring promises great matches to entertain the crowd that are fair! That is exactly what that was, still we are just getting started as you can see our ring is set up for this week’s edition of Byrd’s Eye View! Where our very own Jason Byrd gets the latest details with his guest of the week so let’s send it over to Jason in the ring!
The view shifts to the middle of the ring as we see Jason Byrd standing behind a Podium once again, very similar to his set up from last combat. He smiles as the fans cheer a bit and he leans forward to speak.
Byrd: Ladies and Gentlemen of Lexington it’s time for you to be enlightened, for the iron curtain to be lifted and the truth shared with all of you here and the millions at home. It is time the I come down from my Perch of wrestling Wisdom, soar through the air and give you all the story behind the story, it is time that I share with you MY Byrd’s eye view!
The fans cheer as he pauses with a big grin across his face looking at the Lexington crowd. After a few seconds he takes a bow and then removes the microphone from the podium as he speaks again.
Byrd: Now last week the whole world witnesses as The Texas Truth Teller was attacked by the Maritime two, the Dark Duo that is Jack Tyde and his associate Shante’! Despite dishing out some serious injury to Straight Arrow Attwater he was able to pull himself up and dish out a big serving of Texas Justice as he put his big boot upside the ass of Tyde preventing him from qualifying for tonight’s Siege Perilous match.
The fans cheer loudly as the story progresses before Byrd pauses a second to let them calm down before continuing.
Byrd: That is why the only choice I could make for my guest tonight, is Wild West Wrangler himself Tex Attawater!
“Cowboy” By Kid Rock blast over the PA and the fans erupt in cheers. Pyro begins to explode on either side of the arena similar to a large pistol firing off. It explodes 6 times on either side before Tex can be seen in the smoke. A large brace is visible on his left arm.. He takes off his cowboy hat and waves it in the air as he walks down the ramp. Before he goes up the steel steps however he takes a moment to give his cowboy hat to one of the children ringside. He then gets into the ring and shakes Byrd’s hand politely before his music fades and he takes the mic from him.
Tex: Wee Doggie! It sure as hell feels good to be here in front of all you good folks this week!
The fans cheer again as they begin the chant “Cowboy, Cowboy, Cowboy,”
Byrd: Look Tex it’s my pleasure to have you here as well, but we need to know first and foremost how is that arm of yours?
Tex pauses and taps the brace a few times as he takes a moment to think before answering.
Tex: Well Mister Byrd, I got to be honest with you. It’s not at its best, apparently that varmint really did a number on my elbow here. He dislocated it and tore some ligaments or some such. The doctors said its not the worst it could be but I shouldn’t have wrestled last Combat and they wouldn’t medically clear me this week but if I do what they say I should be able to return on Ground Zero!
The fans let out a big pop again.
Byrd: Well the fans here in Lexington sure seem happy to hear that, as I am sure the ones sitting at home share that sentiment. Now you said it yourself but you SHOULDN’T have wrestled last week so why on earth did you see fit to intervene in the Global Qualifier like you did?
Tex: Why? Come on Mister Byrd, why do crickets chirp at night? Why does Granny Attwaters fried chicken taste so damn good?! Why does anything happen Mister Byrd, I will tell you why. Because some things are just unavoidable, and in my neck of the woods when someone spits in your face you bust theirs wide open! An eye for an Eye if you will, so when he thought he was clever and decided to attack me before the match ever started I figured I should give him a taste of his own medicine. And I tell you what Mister Bird, I reckon I aint done either. As soon as this ol elbow is healed up, I will be looking to get into a proper tussle with this Tyde fella and finish this nonsense once and for all. Show him he can’t just push Old Tex around, and that’s the Truth, the Whole Damn Texas Truth!
The fans erupt in cheers listening to Tex’s southern musings but before he can say anything else ‘Mutiny’ by Neoni blast over the PA and the fans’ cheers turn to loud boos as the tall Jack Tyde is seen in the entrance ramp. He has a smug look on his face as he signals for the music to be cut and pulls out a mic to speak. He is slowly walking closer to the ring as he talks.
Tyde: Tex I almost have to respect this mean streak you’re showing. I mean sure you screwed me out of my chance in Siege Perilous but this is a cut throat business and I can respect what you did. Still as I stand here and watch you pander to these pitiful fans, I can see you’re still afflicted by the weakness that once chained myself down. You see I may have underestimated your grit during our first encounter but don’t you dare think that I was ready to move on either. No you have proved why Shante’ foretold you to be a threat and I can not let you linger, no I will not rest until you are firmly out of my why. Then and only Then can I move forward in Combat…
The fans began to chant ‘You Suck, You Suck, You Suck,’ by this time Tyde was heading up the steel steps and standing on the ring apron. Tex is more than ready to brawl and Byrd doesn’t hesitate to exit the ring to safety.
Tex: Hell you’re here, I’m here, let’s go ahead and finish this RIGHT NOW!!
Tyde: OUR plan exactly!
Higgins: Did he say our?!
Glass: He sure did! Look behind Tex!!
As Tyde has Tex’s attention, Tex doesn’t notice that Shante has slid in the ring behind him. She grabs him by the shoulder and spins him around, he instinctively draws back to swing but pauses when he sees a woman. She however doesn’t, instead extending her hand and producing a fireball from it directly in the cowboy’s face.
Higgins: What on earth?!? Was that fire? Did she just shoot a fireball at Tex what on earth is going on!
Glass: She’s a freaking Witch Alex! I told you this woman isn’t right, if Tex is able to walk after tonight he needs to just let this one go.
He falls back holding his face and Tyde is quickly in the ring attacking him. Shante and Tyde both lay into him before Tyde pauses and instructs Shante to go grab a chair from outside the ring. She nods and rolls out quickly to bring in a chair. He proceeds to place his arm in the chair again but before he gets done down the entrance ramp runs none other than El Landerson and his daughter Aailyah.
Higgins: Thank god! It appears the backup has arrived, let’s hope they can stop this before it gets anymore out of hand.
Glass: Tex has already had his face burnt off. How much more out of hand could it get!
Tyde and Shante don’t notice the arrival of the father daughter duo despite the loud pop. El Landerson gets on the apron and springboards over hitting a tornado DDT on Tyde. Meanwhile Aaliayh bounces off the ropes jumping in the air and hitting a face plant on Shante. Tyde rolls out first and quickly drags Shante out after him. As the devilish duo looks on, the Landersons check on Tex. They signal for medical staff to come as Tyde and Shante walk away pleased with the damage they have caused. The view shifts to Higgins and Glass ringside as the medical staff help Tex backstage.
Higgins: If Dayspring wants to talk about fines and suspensions then he should toss something at these two for all the grief they are causing Tex.
Glass: Actually they are just telling me something over my head set, according to what I am hearing Dayspring has made another match tonight. Instead of fining or suspending Tyde and Shante’ he is putting the two in tag action later tonight AGAINST the Landerson family! The father and daughter Duo will team up to take on Tyde and Shante later tonight! Wow what a match that will be.
Higgins: yea maybe they will be able to extract some sort of revenge for the hell those two put Tex through since Combat launched.
-Anthony Phoenix vs Kurt Johnson

Glass: Well I am looking forward to that match later tonight but up next we have one of our young talent’s Kurt Johnson set to take on IIW Veteran Anthony Phoenix who came up just short of qualifying last week for tonight’s Siege Perilous.
Higgins: Yes Johnson had a near impossible task last week when he debuted against The Silence, being substituted at the last minute before Equinsu Ocha was removed from the match. This week proves to be a different challenge, Anthony is much more of a human than the silence but he has tons more experience to bring to the table.
Glass: As we saw earlier tonight The Silence isn’t Human so Kurt should be able to show a bit more of what he is made of tonight. Let’s get to Charity for the announcements for the next match.
The view switches to ringside where we see Kurt Johnson already in the ring.
Charity: The Next match is one fall, first coming to the ring from Mexico City Mexico Anthony Phoenix!!
‘Chrome Cartel’ hits the PA as the fans boo when Anthony Phoenix appears. He walks down the ramp and strolls outside the ring and pauses right next to where Sean Raines is sitting.
Glass: Looks like someone has decided to address the elephant in the front row.
Higgins: That may not be wise after what Raines did to John Tolly last week!

Raines does indeed stand up and stare at Phoenix who just continues to run his mouth, eventually Phoenix goes to turn and walk away but Raines reaches out and spins him back around. Once they are face to face again, Raines grabs him by the head and slams his face into the steel barricade. Phoenix flies backwards, his nose busted open and blood gushing out everywhere. Raines doesn’t hesitate to hop the Barricade and walk over to where the now bloody Phoenix is laying. He grabs Phoenix and rolls him in the ring. Raines rolls in behind him standing up and looking at Johnson now, he motions for Johnson to go ahead and attack Phoenix. Johnson however argues and seems to protest about everything, Raines simply kicks him in the gut as well hitting the Skyfall (double underhook brainbuster) on him and laying him out on the mat. By this time Phoenix is pulling himself up by the rope. Raines sees this and grabs him and hits a Skyfall on him as well.
Higgins: This Raines is a menace! Phoenix is bloodied, Johnson is out and he’s not even contracted to Combat!
Raines actually drops down and puts his hands on both men’s chest like he is pinning them. At first the ref looks confused but as Raines shouts at him he quickly drops down and counts.

Higgins: What on earth this isn’t even a match!

Charity: Your winner, by double pinfall Sean Raines!!
The fans let out a weird mixed reaction but Sean isn’t done as of yet. He kicks Johnson out of the ring and turns back to the bloodied Phoenix. Grabbing him by the hair of the head he squats over him and begins driving his fist into the already broken nose of Phoenix. With each punch blood oozes out. He then walks over to the top turnbuckle and takes off the protective covering.
Higgins: Someone needs to get security out here, this is well past some impromptu match up! He is going to hurt ANOTHER one of our Combatants tonight!
Glass: He seems to be a man with a plan, both Tolly and Phoenix are men he has had history with in the past. Maybe Phoenix was his target all along tonight?
He grabs Phoenix and drives his head into the exposed turnbuckle three times before Phoenix staggers backwards. Raines shouts as he then lifts Phoenix on the top turnbuckle, climbing up with him he hits a vicious top rope DDT on the main. By this time the security is running out from the back, just a couple to start. Sean easily fights off with a few wild haymakers. But after them a half dozen more lead by the head of Security come running and Sean makes his exit. Rolling under the bottom rope and heading back through the crowd which he came from. Carson stops in the ring and calls for paramedics from the back.
Higgins: Well it looks like that is two men in just two shows that are going to be sent out in an ambulance by Sean Raines and once again he gets off scott free.
Glass: He has an agenda, no one really knows what it is yet but I can tell you we will eventually and hopefully not too many people have to fall before that happens.
Higgins: Well while our medical staff takes care of Phoenix let’s go to the back, Ally Anderson is standing by with our Uprising Champion Iron Wolf.

Backstage in the “interview room”, Iron Wolf stands with Ally Anderson as she holds a microphone. Iron Wolf has his Uprising title draped over his shoulder.
Ally Anderson: I’m standing here with the Uprising champion, Iron Wolf. Wolf, how are you feeling about tonight’s Siege Perilous for the Global title?
Iron Wolf just shrugs with a smile.
Iron Wolf: I feel good about it. I mean all I can really do is my best going into the match against other, possibly more skilled, wrestlers. I have been training hard and I think I can do it.
Ally Anderson: What do you have to say about the fact that the number one contender for your title, James Freedom, is no longer with Combat?
Iron Wolf pats the face of the title.
Iron Wolf: Well, Miss Anderson, I am a fighting champion. I will defend this title with pride against anyone and everyone who comes in here and earns a shot. Anything less would make me unworthy of my friends in Pequeno Dinosaurio and Union Jack.
Ally Anderson: It’s nice to have a pack instead of being a lone wolf. Isn’t it?
Iron Wolf: It is. Between that and the roar of the crowd? I don’t think I can give that all up…
Before he can finish the Cyrus Youngblood walks into the shot with a smile on his face, his wife Eden right behind him.
Cyrus: Blessed be thy, it seems that this company is in need of a challenger to push you to the very limits and help you see the light. I do not believe in coincidences. I am certain I was sent here to feel the void left by that sinful James Freedom. My performance tonight, and the word of the lord should be enough to make me the number one contender.
Before anyone else however can respond a large shadow looms over the group as The Captain enters the frame followed by the monster that is The Silence.
Captain: The saint speaks up for a title shot, but isn’t it the sinner who has made the biggest impression. It is the Silence that has decimated foe after foe, the SIlence who drove Equinsu Ocha out of Combat, THE SILENCE who was snubbed and left out of the qualifier when they allowed the loser Wraith to advance! Yes, if anyone deserves the shot it should be The Silence!
Ally Anderson quickly interjects as tension begins to rise.
Ally Anderson: So Iron Wolf who do you think should be considered as number one contender?
The camera gets a close up of Iron Wolf as he smiles and answers.
Iron Wolf: That’s not up to me Ally, but I’d be happy to face either of them in the ring, at any time.

The view returns to ringside with Higgins and Glass as they prepare for the next match of the night.
Higgins: Well it will be interesting to see how Dayspring sorts out the Uprising Title situation with the recent and unexpected departure of James Freedom.
Glass: Freedom was a proud American and it’s a shame to see him go but I am sure we will have a competitive and exciting match for the Uprising title in the near future but it’s time for the match made earlier tonight when El Landerson and daughter Aaliyah get a chance to extract some revenge on the Nightmare that is Jack Tyde and Shante’!
Higgins: The Nightmare is right, these two have been horrors for Tex Attwater since the debut of Combat! Now let’s get to the ring and get this match underway!
The camera settles in the ring with Charity Langston mic already in hand.
Charity: First coming to the ring, from San Diego, California the team of El and Aaliyah Landerson!!
‘619 Booyaka’ blasts over the PA as El Landerson walks out and drops down to one knee and prays a second before popping back to his feet and pointing at the back. Aaliyah appears in the entrance ramp as pyro explodes on either side of the ramp. The two then give high fives to the fans at ringside before sliding in the ring.
Charity: Their opponent from ‘The Briny Depths’ the tag team duo of Jack Tyde and Shante’ Waverly!!
‘Mutiny’ by Neoni hits the PA when the lights go out as the fans begin to boo loudly. Once the lights are back on both Tyde and Shante’ are already in the ring. The ref checks both teams before signaling for the bell.

Higgins: Looks like Jack Tyde and El Landerson will be starting the match today.
Glass: This will be an interesting match up today, Tyde is a giant of a man next to Landerson being well over a foot taller than him and almost double his weight but Landerson has tons more experience in the industry and is used to fighting people much bigger than him.
As the bell rings Tyde holds his hand up motioning for a Test of Strength, El landerson despite the size difference doesn’t hesitate to reach out to lock up with him. Tyde however raises his arm well above Landerson’s reach then begins to laugh at him when he can’t reach it. Landerson takes advantage of him mocking him by hitting a standing dropkick on Tyde that sends him staggering backwards and into the ropes. Landerson then rushes forward jumping in the air to land a knee into the gut of Tyde causing him to stagger forward. Landerson then bounces off the adjacent ropes and hits a swinging neckbreaker on Tyde, sending him down to the mat.
Higgins: Landerson is showing that experience in full time as he uses his speed to overwhelm the much bigger Tyde in the early moments of this match.
Glass: That is the only way Landerson is going to help win this for his team is by keeping the pedal to the metal and not letting Tyde get a moment to use his strength and size to his advantage.
Landerson does however keep the pressure on as he rushes towards the ropes and springboards off hitting a leg drop on the downed Tyde then quickly goes for a pin. Before the ref can get in position Tyde uses his power to push Landerson off him, tossing him into the air and breaking the count. Landerson picks up Tyde and Irish whips him into the corner where his daughter is waiting. Landerson then gets another running start hitting a flying clothesline into the corner to Tyde. He then reaches out to tag his daughter in and together they hit a massive snap suplex on the big man. Aailiayh then springs up to the middle rope before hitting a split legged moonsault onto Tyde and going for another pinfall attempt.

Higgins: Now Aaliyah is in and this is a full intergender tag match, men fight women and all is legal.
Glass: I know El Landerson trusts his daughter but I am not sure if I would have tagged her in the ring with that monster Tyde currently legal.
She goes to pick him up but he overpowers her and pushes her back into her own corner, El Landerson takes the chance to tag himself in then springboard over the ropes to attempt a flying clothesline but Tyde catches him mid jump and drives him forward hard to the mat with Larceny (Spinebuster). Tyde then falls backwards as he goes to crawl towards his corner for the tag meanwhile El Landerson does the same time. As they move towards the corners both men make the fresh tag at the same time allowing Aaliyah and Shante to come into the ring as the legal Combatants.
Higgins: Both fresh Combatants are in and looking to tie it up and build the momentum for their sides.
Glass: Both women are extremely capable in the ring but still relatively new to it so it will see how they perform when the pressure is on.
As the two charge at each other Shante’ attempts a lariat but Aaliyah ducks under it and runs to the opposite ropes spring boarding off them and grabbing Shante for a DDT but Shante overpowers her and grasp her around the waist tossing her over her head for a Northern lights suplex arching her back to go for the pin afterwards.

Shante is up quickly and pulls Aaliyah up behind her but Aaliyah hits a double leg takedown knocking Shante down to the mat. Shante however is aware enough that she locks in the ‘Cauldron’s Buble’ (Modified Triangle Choke) right in the center of the ring. Landerson climbs up the top rope in an attempt to break off the hold but as he comes off Tyde is in the ring and able to intercept him, catching him mid air and hitting the ‘High Tyde’ on him sending him down to the mat hard. Meanwhile Aaliyah has no choice but to tap out.
***Ding, Ding***
Charity: Your winners by Submission, Jack Tyde and Shante’ Waverly!!
Shante refuses to release the lock to begin with, as the Referee warns her Jack comes over and taps her on the shoulder and she lets go. The ref raises both their hands.
Glass: And that is the mean streak that we have seen from these two since they got to IIW. Still sometimes it’s that mean streak that makes you successful in this industry.
-Ground Zero Matches Announced
Higgins: I am just getting word from the back that Kalvin Dayspring has already finalized some matches for our upcoming Ground Zero Show a little less than a month from now!
Glass: That’s right we already have two MAJOR matches announced for that card! First we will see Jack Tyde go one on one with Tex Attwatter.
The Graphic of the two men appear on screen as we hear Higgins continue to hype the match.
Higgins: That’s right, Tex should be back to 100 percent by then and Kalvin assures that Shante Waverly, Tyde’s partner in crime., will NOT be a factor in this match up. He doesn’t exactly say how but I am sure he has a surprise brewing for us!
Glass: Also another big one, two more men that hate each other in TJ Alexander and Caleb Scott will go one on one as well.

Higgins: These two combatants have bad blood going back to months now and we are going to get to see them tear each other apart on Ground Zero regardless of what happens in our main event tonight!
Glass: On top of that, Dayspring has announced that NEXT week Cyrus Youngblood and The SIlence will go one on one to determine the number one contender for the Uprising title and the winner will get their shot at Ground Zero! These three matches along with many, many more promises a great card in North Carolina just a few weeks away!

Higgins: What a card shaping up for next month! It will be Combat’s first super card and it looks to be really special. Still there may be no moment in Combat more special than our main event tonight!
Glass: The structure known as Siege Perilous will be unleashed on the world tonight as 8 of our best Combatants will battle each other as they attempt to scale the massive steel dome and procure the Global Championship that is hanging above it.
The view switches as we see a close up of the Global Title as it is being hoisted up in the air, simultaneously the large dome is being lowered around the ring. The ring crews and referees run around getting things together as Charity Langston stands in the center of the chaos and prepares to start us off.
Higgins: This is history in the making and the time is now Glass, do you have a favorite going into this?
Glass: I don’t think you can count anyone out but it will be a lot harder for the longer you’re in the match. Iron Wolf and TJ Alexander are starting us off and that means they have an uphill fight in front of them, while Caleb Scott secured the last entry in tonight’s match and that has to prove to be a big advantage to him!
Higgins: Well looks like everyone is in place let’s make history!
Charity: Ladies and Gentlemen it is time for your MAIN EVENT!!
The fans began to cheer so loudly that Charity had to pause a second to let it die down.
Charity: The next match is the world’s first ever Siege Perilous match!! Eight Combatants will enter the steel dome in a predetermined order. Once all eight Combatants are in the first one to scale the dome and retrieve the Global Championship from where it hangs in the air will be the winner and Combat’s first ever GLOBAL CHAMPION!! The dome cage will be locked once the last entrant enters, there is no disqualification and anything goes once the cage is locked.
The fans start the chant ‘Combat, Combat, Combat’ as she continues.
Charity: The first entrant in Siege Perilous standing at 6 foot 2 and weighing in at 245 lbs he is the Friday Night Combat Uprising Champion, he is IRON WOLF!!!
The arena erupts in howls as “Iron Wolf” by Beastwars begins. Iron Wolf then appears from the back, leading the Howl that is echoed by what seems to be the entire arena.He makes his way down to the ring while growling and snarling for the fans. He walks into the giant steel dome of Siege Perilous then rolls into the ring and climbs to the nearest corner, howling again for the fans.
Charity: The second Combatant in tonight’s Siege Perilous hailing from London, England he stands 6 foot 1 and weighs 188 lbs, Kidd Krazy T J ALEXANDER!!
‘The Touch’ by Stan Bush hits and the arena goes crazy with chants of TJ, TJ, TJ! The young man appears and seems to be full of energy as the Pyro blast on either side of the ramp and he makes his way into the cage, pausing to stare at the immense structure before heading inside and preparing for the match.
One Ref and three members of security stand at the only cage door as the entire referee staff are inside the cage to monitor the action. After a few brief words from the ref in the ring the match is officially underway.
***Ding, Ding***
TJ Alexander barely waits for the bell as he charges forward jumping into the air and hitting a spinning lariat on Wolf sending him down hard to the mat. TJ follows up by going to the mat and attempting to put in an arm bar. Wolf, however still fresh in this match, has the sense to send a few hard left hands into the face of TJ and cause him to loosen his grip. TJ rolls backwards to get some space then both men are up on their feet once again staring at each other.
Glass: The Game Changer and the Brawlador are starting us off and what a contrast of styles. The high flying TJ Alexander is everything one expects from a Luchador. While our masked Uprising has less spring in his step and more lead in his punch. A true contrast of brute force versus speed and finesse.
Higgins: The caveat to all this is they can’t win, at least not for over 20 minutes when all 8 competitors are in and by that time they will be the most battered, and most worn guys in the match.
Glass: that’s right these two will be alone for five minutes before the third competitor enters the match, then every three minutes another competitor enters before the cage door is locked and the real match starts.
The Technically sound TJ Alexander motions for a lock up but Iron Wolf responds by giving a swift kick to the gut of TJ. He then rears back and lands a massive headbutt that staggers TJ, Wolf doesn’t hesitate to continue his assault with a series of punches that forces TJ back into the corner. Once he is in the corner Wolf lets out a big howl getting the fans behind him before he climbs to the second rope and begins to punch TJ in the head. You can hear the fans counting with him
1..,2..,3..,4..,5..,6..7,..8..,9..,10!!
This however is not a normal match, with no DQ in place Wolf doesn’t bother to stop at 10 he instead fires off 5 more rapid punches into the head of TJ before hopping off the turnbuckle and allowing TJ to stagger forward and fall to the mat.
Glass: It’s that mean streak that gives Wolf an edge in this entire thing. The fans love him but he’s far from a saint.
Higgins: Still you have to think when it comes to climbing the 25 foot steel dome that someone like TJ would have an advantage right?
Glass: You would think that, but our Combatants are hungry and want this more than anything so I am sure they are all more than capable of making that climb, that is if their bodies are destroyed before the time to climb comes!
Wolf goes to pick up TJ off the mat to drag him to his feet. Once he does he grabs him for a suplex but TJ braces himself and stops Wolf from picking him up. He then overpowers Wolf and reverses the move, lifting Wolf high in the air as he lets him hang there for a few seconds to let the blood rush to his head before landing a vicious looking brain buster on Iron Wolf.
A large Air Horn is heard echoing throughout the arena as ‘Hero’ by Skillet blast across the PA the fans erupt in excitement as we see PG-13 appear at the top of the entrance ramp. He power walks down the ramp heading towards the entrance of Siege Perilous.
Charity: PG-13 has entered Siege Perilous!
Glass: Well after 5 minutes of battling each other their reward is the Monster that IIW knows simply as PG 13!!
Higgins: Not a gift I would want that’s for sure, but I bet it’s a gift that keeps giving. Pain that is!
He hits the ring hot as he automatically goes over to Wolf picking him up and throwing him over his head with a big belly to belly suplex that shakes the ring on impact. He then turns to lock eyes with TJ Alexander who has managed to pull himself up in the corner. Both men have a long history and you can see the hate in their eyes for each other. TJ doesn’t hesitate to charge the man hitting him hard with several forearms, they seem to stagger him back a few steps but are not able to knock him down. TJ decides to change it up by tossing a kick but PG is able to catch it, this just sits TJ up to hit a vicious enziguri sending PG back and leaning against the ropes. TJ decides to bounce off the far rope to get some momentum as he charges as the now staggered PG 13 but as he springs in the air for a flying clothesline PG catches him mid air and tosses him over the top rope, sending him a few feet through the air crashing hard into the the Siege Perilous Steel Dome. His body makes a loud thud as he falls from the contact point nearly 8 feet in the air and lands hard on the floor outside the ring. PG turns towards TJ and mocks him a bit, this gives Wolf a moment to get behind the big man and hit a giant belly to back suplex on him.
Higgins: I think TJ Alexander might need some medical attention after that fall! First colliding with that unforgiving steel dome then falling all the way down to the hard concrete floor.
Glass: TJ may be hurt but I can tell you this. I have watched a lot of tape on the guys on Combat when I was getting ready for this job, I did my research and TJ Alexander is not leaving this match until it’s finished unless its business class in the back of a hearse.
Wolf doesn’t waste a second as he begins to give the boots to PG 13, he then bounces off the ropes and hits a leg drop on him. He then grabs PG in a rear naked choke applying as much pressure as he can as you can see the face of PG turn a bright red he somehow begins to power himself up. He slams his fist on the mat a few times before moving to a standing position with Wolf still locked in on his back. PG rushes backwards sandwiching the body of Wolf between himself and the turnbuckle. Somehow as these two battle in the ring TJ has made his way to his feet greatly favoring his left shoulder that first made contact with the dome and later he fell on. Despite this he is on the apron and somehow climbs to the top turnbuckle adjacent to the one Wolf and PG are currently battling at. Once in position he leaps off hitting a Missile drop kick on PG sending him backward again, once again slamming hard into Wolf. This causes both Wolf and PG to drop to the mat, Still when TJ hits the ground from his move he lands once again on that left shoulder and quickly clutches it in pain.
Higgins: TJ is hurt, this guy is a true warrior! On X Plosion he was attacked by Caleb Scott and the Purge, now he’s here and despite being tossed over the top rope and into the Dome he is doing moves like that!
Glass: He is a remarkable talent but he needs to realize that he has to fight smart. The more he risks hurting his arm early on the harder it will be to climb that dome when it’s time to win this match.
Glass is interrupted by a loud Air Horn sounded as ‘The Wraith’ by ICP blares over the PA and the giant man stalks his way down the ramp and towards the hellish structure that is Siege Perilous.
Charity: The Wraith has now entered Siege Perilous!
Glass: That entrance marks half of the competitors entering the match and this is a BIG one. The Wraith snaked by after losing his debut and still made it into the qualifier and now he’s here and that is something no one in that ring right now is happy about.
Higgins: You still have to think that regardless of how much of an advantage his size is now, it may work against him when it comes time to climb 25 feet to the top to win this match.
By the time the Wraith has entered the ring all three men are up and waiting for him. TJ and Wolf charge at the same time a series of punches and kicks that sends him backwards a few steps. Still he sends an elbow at the side of Wolf’s head and then grabs TJ by the throat. Wolf tries to attack Wraith but he gets a hand around his throat as well. In one swift motion he lifts them both in the air and slams them hard to the mat with a double chokeslam.
Glass: The pure size and power of Wraith is impressive and honestly scary as hell. I would not be amazed if he ends up walking out here with the Global Title over his shoulder tonight.
Higgins: But why didn’t PG back up the other two when he came in? Wouldn’t it be beneficial for him to join them to take down the monster threat that is wraith?
Glass: In PG eyes, he is the monster and Wraith just handled the light work for him.
The two monsters lock eyes on each other and quickly get in each other’s face exchanging a few words before they begin to brawl. Heavy handed blows to the side of each other’s head for several seconds, neither man giving an inch until Wraith finally slips in a rising knee to the gut of PG to stagger him back. He then kicks him in the gut and places PG in place for a power bomb, lifting him into position PG isn’t done however. PG starts to punch Wraith in the face stopping him from finishing the move, after about 4 punches he is able to slip off the bigger man’s shoulders and land on his feet. Once on the ground he kicks Wraith in the gut and then gets behind him, locking him up in a pumphandle before lifting him and slamming him forward.
Higgins: Oh My GOD the strength of PG, Wraith is a behemoth of a man and PG just picked him up with ease slamming him hard into the mat.
Glass: PG is going to be hard to stop not just tonight but each and every week on Combat as he demonstrates his power and physical nature every time he steps in the ring.
The air horn sounds once again as “When the man comes down” hits the PA and not just Sebastian Hamilton but the entire Hamilton Establishment appears at the top of the ramp. Hamilton has his Hardcore title snug around his waist as he marches The fans let out a chorus of boos as the entire group heads down the ramp.
Charity: Sebastian Hamilton has now entered Siege Perilous!
Higgins: What on earth is Sebastian doing? Why are his goons with him!
Glass: Those are not goons! Those are his brothers and I am sure they are just here for morale support. Besides this is the Hardcore Champion you go tell him his brothers can’t enjoy the show first hand.
Once they get to the cage side the security and referees proceed to stop Sebastian’s brothers from entering. They initially start to push back and look to break out a fight when Sebastian waves them off. You can see one of them slip Sebastian something that none of the ring side officials notice. The Establishment backs up the ramp and exits as Sebastian finally enters the Siege Perilous dome.
Higgins: I think Edward slipped him something! Once in the cage anything is allowed but you’re not supposed to go in with weapons.
Glass: Your being paranoid Sebastian is an upstanding citizen, he doesn’t need to be slipped anything. There are plenty of violent weapons under the ring that he can use if he deems fit, and he can surely win without them.
At this point the four men had begun to battle amongst themselves, TJ and Wolf dueling in one corner while PG still had the advantage on Wraith in another. Sebastian heads to the duo of TJ and Wolf, grabbing TJ by the shoulder to get his attention. Once TJ had spun around he rears back and hits him with a hard right. TJ drops hard and looks to be out of it, you can see on Sebastian’s right hand is a pair of brass knuckles. Wolf doesn’t seem to realize what happens and attempts to hit a lariat on Sebastian who just manages to duck. Hamilton then kicks wolf in the gut and hits an irish whip on him, sending him right into the back of PG 13. PG staggers forward before turning to see Wolf. Wolf receives a series of large right hands from PG but somehow wolf manages to block the fourth punch and grab PG around the waist to hit a T-Bone Suplex on the big man.
Higgins: He wouldn’t bring in a weapon you said? Looks like Hamilton had a plan this entire time.
Glass: I said he didn’t need to, but of course he had a plan. He’s a master tactician always staying a few steps ahead of those he is against. Honestly I applaud his effort.
Hamilton slides under the bottom rope and begins to rummage under the ring. Eventually he pulls out not one, but two tables tossing one off to the side for a moment he sits up the first right by ringside. Climbing back in the ring he takes TJ who is still groggy from the shot with the knuckles and sends him hard into the corner. He places TJ on the top turnbuckle and then heads to the apron and climbs up after him. He hooks him up in an attempt to superplex TJ from the top and onto the table he has set up outside. TJ however is a bit more alive then Sebastian thought and begins to fire back with punches to loosen his grip. After a few more minutes Tj is now in control as he stands up all the way and hits a top rope Sling Blade sending both men off the apron and onto the ground through the table that was set up.
Higgins: The more men that are entered the more dangerous this is becoming and we still have three more men to come in.
Glass: Yes we do and we can only hope all 5 of these men make it until everyone is here because right now they are trying to kill each other.
The air horn once again sounds as ‘Envy’ by Twiztid hits the PA and Axel Shaw appears at the ramp, a cocky grin on his face as he makes his way down the ramp. Ripping off his Mecca T-Shirt before entering the deathly structure that is Siege Perilous.
Charity: Axel Shaw has now entered Siege Perilous!
Higgins: Axel Shaw has already made a name for himself in IIW and barely been signed, picking up two wins on the first combat, joining the Mecca on Mayhem and being entered in Keys to Success now he looks to add a Global Title to his list of achievements!
Glass: He also has tons of history with both PG 13 and TJ Alexander from their time in ECE together
Axel slides in and looks at the ring. TJ & Hamilton are still down on the outside of the ring While PG, Wolf and Wraith brawl in the center of the ring. He smiles as he charges forward headed right at Wolf. Wolf however side steps him almost like a matador with a bull and instead of Wolf, Axel nails Wraith with a Canadian Ending slamming him hard into the mat. PG quickly goes on the attack sending a series of clubbing blows into the back of Axel. He goes to jerk Axel up but Axel is ready and hits a large belly to belly slam on him. Iron Wolf is also ready to pounce though and reaches back before thrusting his hand into Axel Neck locking in the Wolf Bite (Togan Deathgrip) Still at this point TJ Alexander is up and climbing on the top rope. Once perched up there he jumps off with a 450 splash hitting both Wolf and Axel at the same time breaking up the submission but taking all three men out in the process.
Glass: It is a decision like that, to jump from the top rope into the midst of the chaos that makes me wonder if TJ has any concern for his own safety at this point in his career. He’s young, he’s talented but he needs to learn to protect himself while he wins.
Higgins: TJ Alexander will put his body through whatever to get the win he feels he deserves, he has earned it and he will not stop until he proves it by hoisting that big gold belt above his head.
Hamilton is up on the outside and looks in at the chaos with a bit of a smirk. He reaches back under the ring pulling out a chair before he climbs into the ring with all the broken bodies. He looks as Wolf starts to get up he whacks him in the head with a chair sending him back down, then he does the same to TJ, then again with PG-13, as Wraith rises though he gives him a loud thud with the chair but it doesn’t seem to phase him as he continues to get up. Once up Sebastian gives him another whack, this one with no effect but Hamilton is unfettered tossing his chair to the ground he drops down to one knee and hits a low blow on the big man. This doubles him over, Sebastian then stands and hits the Established 1808 (reverse ddt) onto the steel chair.
Higgins: Sebastian is showing why he is the Hardcore Champion right now, one that is extremely dangerous at that.
Glass: First knuckles, then the table now a chair he is proving he likes to make sure he has an advantage in any encounter. I am just curious how this cluster of a brawl is going to go once everyone is in and people have to start worrying about scaling that cage.
The air horn once again signals as the fans go crazy when “killer” by Eminem when we see the Alpha Andre Cash appear at the ramp. He almost springs into the ring as he rushes to get into the action with the behemoths already in the ring.
Charity: Andre Cash has now entered Siege Perilous!
Glass: The last of the big men in the match tonight and by far the freshest of the bunch. He will be dangerous, more dangerous than normal even.
Higgins: And that’s saying a lot, Cash was the first man to qualify last week with his impressive show of strength during the qualifier match. He is fast, smart and violent by design he may be one of the newer names on the roster but he is by far one of the most talented and fastest rising on Combat!
Andre Cash jumps over the top rope and PG charges at him with a massive lariat. Cash ducks it and kicks him in the gut. Once he’s bent over Cash lifts him above his head in a gorilla press slam and the crowd goes crazy. He then proceeds to press him not once, but three times showing off the massive strength before dropping him on his shoulder and slamming the 280 pound man hard into the mat. By this point TJ has attacked Sebastian from behind and the two start to brawl outside the ring. TJ hits an Irish whip on Sebastian sending him hard into the massive dome face first. Axel is dragging up the body of the 7 foot tall wraith and somehow manages to flip him in position for Broke Axel (outsiders edge). Wolf was in the corner watching this and took the shot to bounce off the rope jumping in the air hitting the Wolf Bite (superman punch) on Axel and sending him up and over the top rope to the outside.
Glass: They are starting to hit finishers on each other as they wear down, it’s been almost 20 minutes at this point for some of them and the fatigue is really starting to show as they are slower to get back up.
Higgins: Yet they still get back up, TJ still favors his shoulder, Iron wolf has been beaten and battled, Sebastian was put through a table but they all still get up. This match is chaos in a cage but these men are showing exactly why they are the best for it.
Cash is in the ring with PG 13 as he lifts him up on the top turnbuckle PG begins to fight back sending a few punches at the side of Cash’s head to stagger him backwards, the big man then drops off the top and levels cash with a lariat. However Cash, being as fresh as he is, rolls under the bottom rope to keep him from following up. Once on the outside however TJ who is on the apron at this time sees him and gets a running start as he flips forward to hit a running senton. Cash manages to see it coming and catches him, powering him up he spins and hits a large powerbomb on the top of the steel steps sending TJ flying off the steps in pain.
Higgins: TJ Alexander just got leveled, I can’t believe it but it seems like he is still moving. They should really consider sending someone to check on him.
Glass: TJ Alexander is proving he is one of the toughest men in the industry and exactly why he is in this match. He has been here from the start and refuses to stay down. Still when a guy the size of Andre Cash wants you down, he has ways of getting the job done TJ had better start being smarter about when he takes his shots.
Higgins: It’s not called High Risk for nothing I guess.
The Air Horn hits again but this time pyro begins to explode and red lights flash from the ceiling of the arena signaling the last member of the match is entering. ‘Ze Nigmar’ by Rotting Christ blasts loudly on the PA and Caleb Scott is seen at the top of the ramp. He stares a few seconds at the chaos in the middle of Siege Perilous taking it all in before he slowly strolls down the ramp and into the madness.
Charity: Caleb Scott has now entered Siege Perilous!
Higgins: The Television Champion and last entrant of Siege Perilous has arrived and once he is in and the cage is locked the match really starts.
Glass: That’s right one of these 8 men will have to climb all the way to the top of this 25 foot structure and grab the Global title for themselves. That however is a lot easier said than done.
Caleb enters the cage lurking by the entrance as it locks behind him and the bell rings again to signify the official start.
***Ding, Ding***
Inside the ring the battle continues to rage on, each man trying to get an inch against another Caleb on the other hand decides not to engage at first. He realizes the advantage he has in coming in last, he realizes he is the freshest and the match is truly starting so instead of heading towards anyone he goes to under the ring and begins to rummage around. After a few seconds he pulls out a large steel ladder from under it. He begins to prop it up right beside the cage.
Higgins: Caleb is deciding to use the ladder to get up the cage quicker, what a smart move. It will not get him to the top but it will let him make a good 15 foot of the climb easier than scaling the entire side of the dome.
Glass: He is the TV champ for a reason but he is also in the ring with 7 of the best competitors in the wrestling industry so I don’t think it will be that easy.
He starts up the ladder but as he does he catches the broken body of TJ Alexander pulling himself up by the ring apron and Caleb pauses just a bit almost as if he is considering going to finish off the job that Cash started. It is this small hesitation however that gets the attention of Sebastian Hamilton who quickly starts to scale the other side of the ladder. As both of them reach up the top of the ladder at the same time they begin to exchange blows with each other. With each blow the ladder shakes just a bit more. As they struggle however TJ Alexander once again regains his wits and see’s what is happening. He quickly climbs to the apron then up to the top turnbuckle nearby before walking the ropes until he is close enough to leap from the ropes onto the side of the ladder that Sebastian and Caleb are fighting on. This rocks the ladder greatly but both Caleb and Sebastian manage to reach out grasping the side of the dome and stabilizing the ladder again. Now that all three men are some how clinging onto the they begin to exchange blows as they try to get the others off so they can make a clean climb to the dome.
Glass: These men are in a dangerous place at the moment, if any of them let go just a bit that is a 15 foot fall onto the hard ground below.
Higgins: With TJ’s hurt shoulder he has to be having a hard time a hard time holding on this is when the fatigue of such a long match starts to kick in and the real advantage Caleb has for coming in last starts to show.
Meanwhile on the other side of the ring Axel, Wolf, PG-13 and Wraith are battling each other. Iron Wolf irish whips the much bigger wraith hard into the steel steps causing them to fly apart. PG-13 and Axel are throwing punches on each other as they both stand on the apron of the ring. PG-13 gets the advantage as Axel staggers back a bit, PG manages to hook up Axel and hits a Uranage slamming Axel hard on the apron as he falls to his feet on the outside. He is now standing where Hamilton had pulled out the second table that was never set up. PG decides to take a moment to set it up. As he is doing this however Wolf decides to make his attempt to start to climb up the steel dome, PG see’s this and automatically leaves the hurt Axel and goes for him. Grabbing him by the boot he starts to pull at his leg hard trying to get him down. After a bit of a struggle he manages to do so putting Wolf on his shoulders and then hits the Revelation (F-5) on wolf sending him through the table he just set up. Axel at this moment is up and see’s Wraith back to his feet as well, Wraith is propped up by the Siege Perilous door. Axel doesn’t seem to notice this as he lowers his head and charges full speed hitting the “Canadian Ending” (spear) on Wraith slamming him so hard that the two men burst the cage door off the hinges and spilling the two men to the outside of the dome.
Higgins: The entire point of this grotesque metal structure is to keep the fight inside, and these two beast just proved that no structure no matter how powerful can keep Combatants of this caliber contained!
Glass: There is a good chance that Wraith just got hurt bad with that, I can’t believe this is happening these men are putting everything on the line for this match!
Back on the other side of the ring as the three men battle on the top of the ladder Andre Cash finally takes notice. The big man however doesn’t attempt to try to climb with them, instead he uses his immense power to begin to pull the ladder itself down. Caleb, TJ, and Hamilton can’t do much to prevent it so instead both Hamilton and Caleb are able to make a leap from the ladder onto the side of the dome. TJ has the ladder between him and the dome so it is a much harder task. He is able to some how climb up as the ladder falls and leap over it towards the cage, he however can’t seem to make it all the way but instead he grasp on to Caleb’s leg keeping him from falling. Cash uses this moment to start to climb up the dome himself, using his massive muscles to scale the cage rather quickly not near as tired as the men who just battled at the top of the cage he catches up to Hamilton and starts to try to pull him off. By this time all four men are about 15 or more feet up the side of the steel dome.
Glass: There is only one way down for any of these men at this point and it’s not going to be a fun trip no matter who has to take it.
Higgins: At this point anyone who wins this is more than deserving and I just hope everyone walks out in one piece.
Back on the other side of the ring PG decides to try his luck by climbing up on the side of the dome and towards his prize. Axel now on the outside of the Siege Perilous dome notices PG going up so he decides to climb as well only he is on the outside of the Dome. As the two climb up they end up across from each other on the same Dome wall taking jabs at each other as they try to climb, slowing each others ascension as they do.
Glass: Axel and PG have seemingly left the other two on the ground and battling across the dome from each other as they climb! Slowly they get further and further and eventually one of them is going to have a long way down as well!
Higgins: For such big men they are climbing very quickly up this structure and towards the top.
Back on the other side as the four continue to fight on the side Caleb starts to take a few quick kicks to the hurt shoulder of TJ he has to release with that arm but quickly manages to fall forward enough and catch the dome with his better arm. TJ tries to pull himself up to safety but Caleb smells blood at this point and hits a swinging variation of ‘Grim Death’ (running knee strike) right into the side of TJ’s head sending him off the cage and falling over 15 foot to the floor. Cash and Hamilton are right beside each other exchanging right hand punches, the much bigger Cash has an advantage and staggers Hamilton a bit. This stops Hamilton from being able to fire back right when it looks like Hamilton is going to let go he reaches into his trunks and pulls out his brass knuckles he had stowed away from earlier and sends a hard left into the head of Cash causing him to release his grip and take the long fall as well.
Glass: Four men have a big advantage now as PG-13, Axel Shaw, Caleb Scott, and Sebastian Hamilton are continue to scale up the sides of Siege Perilous!
Higgins: This could be it, we could be watching the start of the end of the first Siege Perilous!
The four men reach the top at almost the same time with the Global title in arms reach of all four of them as this point. The fans are going crazy at this point as they begin to chant ‘Combat, Combat, Combat’ but their chant is interrupted as ‘Kingdom’ by Downstait hits the PA and the IIW star Crush appears on the entrance ramp. He isn’t lounging around enjoying the show however as he rushes towards the Dome, he is automatically stopped by security as he doesn’t hesitate to send a few rights and lefts at them leaving them on their back. Once he has dispersed of them he gets on the outside of the massive dome and begins to scale it himself.
Higgins: What on earth is going on?! Crush is here? He isn’t even on this brand and now he’s scaling the side of Siege Perilous? He does realize he can’t win this right?
Glass: He has a long history with at least two of the competitors sitting on the edge of that Dome, my guess would be more of trying to settle a grudge! His brother PG-13 kidnapped his wife at one point, and Axel Shaw attacked him just last Mayhem.
Higgins: First Axel Shaw is on Mayhem, then Bear-O-Dactyl! accepts an open challenge and now THIS! Not to mention the fiasco with Raines and all the Purge did last week, good lord this split is starting to blend together really quick some one needs to get control of this mess!
The four Combatants are now standing as best they can at the top of this large dome structure, you can see the footing is very uneasy as they wobble trying to keep their balance. PG-13 makes the first move reaching for the Global title and ignoring those around him. Sebastian is standing next to him and doesn’t allow it to happening using his brass knuckles to pop PG in the head hard, PG however takes a few steps back but some how seems to endure the knuckles screaming at Sebastian and reaching out gripping him around the neck and signaling to the crowd he plans to chokeslam him through the cage hole to the ground. Sebastian doesn’t hesitate to use the brass knuckles again, this time staggering him even more. PG looses his grip on Sebastian and his footing, tumbling backwards almost rolling down the outside of the large dome he tumbles this way about 15 feet before catching his grip before he hits the ground. His Brother Crush climbs right pass him without even looking his way, his eyes still focused on the top of the Dome. Sebastian hesitates just a moment looking down at PG and admiring his work, one of the last three on the peak you can see the Pride on his face. In this moment however Axel saw a chance he pounces forward hitting a large shoulder on to Sebastian and sends him to the same fate as PG. Tumbling down the outside of the Dome until he is able to catch himself
Higgins: I’ll be damn every time these men hit each other, every fall they take makes my stomach sink to the bottom of my toes. This is dangerous, I am not sure if Kalvin realized the death trap he designed.
Glass: I think it just proves that our honorable GM is just as sick and twisted as anyone else in the industry. Hi morale high ground is something he tells himself to sleep at night, anyone who would put his to stars in this sort of match and sit back enjoying it has to be a twisted individual.
Now with just two men left they turn to each other and begin to exchange hard right hands to the side of each others heads, each blow causing them to stagger on the top of the dome structure. Caleb seems to gain the edge with one and he follows quickly with a heavy chop sending Axel back a few more steps on the dome. The position of the two have changed, Caleb now much closer to the actual belt is also got his back to the hole in the dome. The space he knocked Axel back gave him the space need to lunge forward with a Lariat that sends Caleb backwards, his body flips and goes down the whole at the last possible moment he manages to grasp on the edge with his fingers. Axel ignores this as he turns towards the belt. Still Caleb manages to pull his arms up on the edge so now he has his whole chest on the top of the dome but his feet still dangling in the air. He sees Axel going for the belt and determines he doesn’t have time to crawl all the way back up so he grabs the man by the legs tripping him and bringing him to his knees. Axel was seconds from having the belt is now a few feet away screams in frustration and begins to punch Caleb in the top of the head trying to get him to let go.
Higgins: Axel is so close to being our first ever Global Champion! Cash and TJ are both up but fighting each other as they try to climb, Wolf is up at this point and climbing but he’s barely made any head way. The Wraith is being seen by our medical staff he hasn’t moved since Axel speared him through the cage. Hamilton and PG are both climbing back that way but as hurt as they are it’s going slow and they still got a while before they make it. If Axel just manages to get Caleb down he wins, but if Caleb falls that’s a big drop right to the center of the ring that could be a serious injury waiting to happen!
Glass: Caleb is tough as nails, despite everything he has done with the Purge you can not take away Caleb’s grit and determination, his willingness to put everything out there to win.
It is however the ‘outsider’ Crush that makes it to the top first and quickly sends an Elbow to the back of the head of Axel. This staggers him a bit but he manages to hold on, He turns to see Crush and looks shocked and confused by him being here.
Glass: Well I guess we know what was on Crush’s mind, revenge from what the Mecca did to him on Mayhem!
Axel goes to swing at Crush but Caleb still holding onto his foot jerks it from under him and causes him to miss. Caleb uses this moment to pull himself all the way up and Crush doesn’t hesitate to hit the ‘Bone Crusher’ (spear) on Axel sending him into the hole in the dome and tumbling down 25 feet into the ring crashing hard causing the entire middle to cave in. Caleb now up to his feet stares Crush in the eyes for a second before reaching up and starting to take the belt down..
Higgins: No, No, No not like this!
Glass: Crush was destroyed last week and Axel was a big part of that I guess this is his way of getting a bit of revenge in a grand fashion!
Finally Caleb has the strap in his hand and the bell officially rings.

Crush begins to climb down as Caleb now alone on top of the Siege Perilous dome slowly raises the belt in the air as the fans are chanting ‘Combat, Combat, Combat’ the logo flashes and the show goes off the air.
